I stayed at Hotel Valeri for three nights. It’s a great hotel, less than 10 minutes from Roma Termini via the 714 bus. You may hear sirens in my videos because the windows were open, but with them closed, it’s surprisingly quiet. When we arrived, Francesco checked us in. He was excellent, he walked us to the room and gave useful advice on getting around Rome, including restaurant recommendations. I highly recommend Romulo Reno and their carbonara; it was the best pasta I’ve ever had, and it’s less than a five-minute walk from the hotel. Breakfast looked solid, but we chose to grab food elsewhere. If you want to go to the colloseum is a 15 min walk if you hustle. Over 20 min if you take your time. Highly recommend the bus, because steps do accumulate! Overall, it’s a reliable place to stay. My only downsides were that the curtains were a bit sheer and the shower floor was slightly slippery. Otherwise, great hotel.

Very nice hotel, extremely helpful and friendly staff. The room and bathroom was very nice and clean, very comfortable beds. It's only a 15 minutes walk to the Coliseum, public transportation is nearby . Very tasty pastries as well. I also wanted to add the on the day of our departure, the pastries have not been delivered yet to the disappointment of my daughter. As we were walking to the bus, the van pulled up with the pastries, next we know one of the staff is running out of the hotel with our pastries! That is what you call an outstanding customer service! Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back next time we are in Rome!

I stayed here during my vacation in Rome, and it was a wonderful experience! When I arrived, the owner,Mr. Francesco, warmly welcomed me and kindly shared maps and great tips about sightseeing in Rome. Thanks to him, I truly enjoyed my time exploring the city! It was my first visit to Rome, but this hotel felt so comforting and homely — a place that makes you want to come back again. ☺️

Overall, we were happy with our 3-night stay here. The room we received was in their newer wing on the third floor. The room and bathroom were both quite small, but thankfully, we were really only in it to sleep. We prefer firm beds and were pleased to find out that the mattress was firm. Staff will clean your room every day, even with a Do Not Disturb sign hung on the doorknob. My big advice is to skip the breakfast! At $12.50 euro/person, you can get TWO breakfasts for that price at Lunch Music, the breakfast restaurant right around the corner. Additionally, the hotel breakfast options are few and the juices are not made fresh. For dinner, we walked to Via Gallia where there were plentiful options; we highly recommend the local Romulus & Remus restaurant. Finally, when making the reservation, there were little to no instructions in English; I had to rely on Google Translate. This hotel should consider a professional translation option to accommodate future guests. However, upon arriving, the hotel manager gave us a map with great recommendations and instructions for the bus lines. That was very helpful and much appreciated.

This is a little slice of heaven in Rome. Wonderfully small and friendly, but with big rooms. Staff were stunningly friendly! Good value for big rooms in Rome. Only negative was the walls are a little thin so conversation can be heard between walls. But we coped as the place is a gem. Highly recommended!!

The hotel's location is excellent; you can reach all the historical sites on foot or by bus. All the staff are very attentive, and the hotel manager, Francesco, is a wonderful host. When I mentioned that I was allergic to the plants in the garden of the room we had booked, Francesco kindly upgraded us to a more expensive room at no extra cost. He also guided us by marking the places to visit and eat in Rome on a map. If I ever go back to Italy, this is the hotel I would stay at again without hesitation. Thank you for everything (especially for the espresso coffee they served in the morning).

We were very pleased with our stay at Valeri. The staff was extremely welcoming and kind; they helped us with everything and even allowed us to leave our luggage so we could enjoy the views of Rome. Francesco, the hotel’s main manager, is an incredibly bright and responsive person — I felt it from the very first moment we met. I highly recommend this hotel!😇
