Hotel Valli

The hotel is very close to Thanjavur railway station, so it was convenient to reach. It is budget friendly — we chose non-AC rooms and paid around ₹2000 for 2 rooms. The setup is a bit old style, but manageable. Washrooms were not very clean, though still okay for a short stay, and they did provide basic toiletries. Rooms had a TV, which was working fine. The staff was polite and helpful, and check-in was smooth.

They have dining downstair. Due to large trees in sorrounding makes the atmosphere cool and great. Washroom was also large. Only problem was mosquitos. Rest hospitality was great and value for money. Marketplace, especially fruit market is nearby. Recommended for non-luxurious stay

Rooms are okayish. Its a very old hotel. It looks good from outside. But inside is average only. Service and staff are good. Rooms are very hot, you will need ac rooms. Walkable from railway station. They have many room options including 4 bedded rooms. They Don’t put them online. Call directly and book for some discounts. Non ac room was 950 when we visited. on direct booking

Their room is clean . It was suitated near the railway station. It is the walking distance from the railway station 🚉.and also away from the crowded area . Rooms are at affordable price We can get fresh fruits and juices near the junction.

Room and service was good. But there are mosquitos in the room, even in AC rooms. Very less and plug points, some are not working.

It's not suitable for family. We had stayed in the hotel for one day with my one year baby and we request hotel staff for a cup of hot water to make powder milk for my baby, he refused to give the same. After that I went to nearby railway station and bought the same. I really disappointed for the way they are behaving. They are collecting non AC room rent Rs.950/- per day but they won't give a cup of hot water for one year kid. Also, the room is very conjusted it's a small in size and old building the bathroom tup is dirty. Also, we request two hours extra time to check out the room according to catch our train, whereas the receptionist said only one hour time will be given otherwise you have to pay one day extra rent like that. He is behaving very rude. We are very disappointed.

First of all, please don't use Agoda to book rooms in this hotel. Because their information is wrong. This hotel contracts with Booking.com only. Booking.com resells the rooms to Agoda. I don't know which platformers make mistakes. It is close to the railway station. All of the staff here are sincere. My room was clean. The building is quite old, so there are probably gaps. I saw some bugs and a gecko in my room.

Such a peaceful place. Situated away from the busy roads and shops. Clean bedding and towels were provided. The hotel was very clean. A little dated, but the furniture and decor suited the ambience. Staff were very friendly and helpful 🙂 We had breakfast, which set us up for a day cycling to our next destination.
