Great location, homely feel to the hotel and really nice staff. Arrived after closing and panicked as didn’t receive any codes to enter. Luckily there was a helpline on the door which gained my access. Nice healthy breakfast selection and good coffee.

Nice room in an old building right in the city centre of Göteborg. Due to the fact that it's an old building an elevator isn't installed. It was also nice to have a safe parking space in the city. The breakfast was very good as well with different brands, cheeses, cereal and yoghurt to choose from. However noise from trucks and construction start quite early in the morning when your room is located at the front of the building. But I would definitely book this hotel again of we visit Göteborg.

Perfect location… Accessible by walk to the central station, sight seeing places, monuments, statues, churches, haga, bars, restaurants, shopping malls, all the brand shops and party clubs… Clean linen and bedding… Good spread of breakfast and it’s quite wide. Silent and few meters from the main road makes it a silent place.

I have very little positive to say. The staff was nice, but the place was very unpleasant.|Partly because of the uneven flooring (which to some extent can’t be helped because it is an old building) but the dizziness sensation was still unpleasant. There should be a warning. And partly because it was far from|Acceptably clean. I found stains on all the bedding to an alarming level and dirty underwear from a previous guest on the radiator. The breakfast was small but fresh.

Great location, very close to a block with great food courts, restaurants, bars & cafèes. Pittoresque, it looks a century old townhouse converted into a hotel. No elevator, no manned reception after 21. Forgetting to bring, or losing, your keycard will set you back 100€. Parking was offered. Every room seems different, and they're all named after herbs & spices, with illustration on the doors - great if you have children.|Clean & small but cozy. They forgot to mention that there's heavy construction going on at the site next door, all hours. If you're a light sleeper, that might cause an issue for you. Won't be finished until another 6 months, estimated m, I was told (My stay was in May 2024.).|There's no fridge in the rooms, and accessibility to cold storage is thereby until at 21 with the reception, which is unmanned after 21.

This is a very nice hotel in a good location with a good breakfast but one giant flaw. The reception closes at 2100h (we were not informed in advance) and we arrived at 2215 to find a locked front door. No one answered the hotel telephone but a recording informed us that an email has been sent to late arrivals with a code to open the door. We never received such an email. One is also threatened with a fine of SEK 1000 (about USD 100) for calling their security service for a non-emergency. Thus we were left standing outside of our pre-paid room with no recourse. After about 15 min, by random luck, another guest came by and opened the door for us and we found our room keys on a table inside. It is reallly not acceptable to leave guests stranded on the street with no email as promised or at least someone to answer the phone. But a nice hotel as long as you arrive before 2100.

We tried to check in, but was never told check in ends at 9 pm and that late check ins aren't allowed. This place does not have a working phone number and the phone number given was out of service. They didn't call about check in like every other hotel I've ever been too, when approaching the late check in deadline. My train was delayed so it would've been nice to know this before. Also people super rude in this city, if you can avoid going to Gothenburg entirely, please do!

The beds were comfortable, breakfast good and staff friendly. The central position is great with little traffic noise. ||But- our rooms looked out onto a central courtyard/ parking space with a very noisy external fan unit going all day and all night. The noise was bad enough to mean we could not easily listen to the radio, and we had to close the windows to get any sleep. The same must apply to most of the rooms as few appear to face the street. We were lucky the weather was not too hot as the rooms were pretty stuffy with no air flow.|| We also felt that our single rooms at least did not fit the description of individually styled rooms- they were perfectly adequate but more like a bland chain hotel.
