Good: ✅ Clean room & comfortable bed. ✅ Breakfast was basic, but I appreciated healthier options—loved the plain yogurt with available toppings. ✅ Solid location—short walk to restaurants, shops, and transit stations. ✅ Friendly service at front desk. ✅ My translation app was ready, but I never had to use it—the staff always took good care of me, switching to English immediately. Much appreciated. ✅ The in-room water boiler/kettle came in handy. ✅ Room was surprisingly spacious. Cautions: ❌ No elevator. Not a big deal—just be aware. ❌ Outlets in room not in the easiest locations to charge devices. ❌ No luggage racks. Overall, this hotel was an excellent value and I would definitely stay here again.

We booked two separate beds but got a double bed. Bathroom had several broken tiles and the soap dispenser was broken. There were mold under the tiles... The wooden beam in the ceiling has not seen a duster in a long time. They couldn't switch rooms the first night but we got a new room the second night with separate beds. No AC so it was hot and our room only had a heating fan. The staff was decent. Their superior/manager/boss looked too casual for his title. Breakfast didn't offer much but what was offered was pretty okay. The eggs need to be cooked more though. The reception closed pretty early at 21 and after that you can't access the reception at all. It was not worth the price and I won't go here again but it's not the worst, just terrible.

I did not have any of the negative issues like the other posts. My main issue was the noise. The inner courtyard by reception has construction going on. Also rooms facing that direction. Has noise coming from guests going in and out of the side entrance. I moved rooms to towards the parking courtyard and it was better. There was the drone of a fan like apparatus, but it served as white noise. You don’t get a lot for your money here, but everything is expensive in this part of the world. Dorm like room, but it comes with breakfast. There are options for larger rooms. There’s a lot of rooms to choose from so if you don’t like what you get, consider requesting another room.

The hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore nearby sights and attractions. The staff was friendly. However, the cleanliness and service in the room left something to be desired. Housekeeping only made the beds and did not replace our used coffee cups or restock the coffee and milk supplies. As a result, we were only able to make coffee in the room on the first of our three mornings—disappointing, especially as we were traveling with a baby and were up early each day. We also felt somewhat misled regarding the hotel’s accessibility. We were aware that there was no elevator, but we called ahead and were assured we’d get a room on the first floor and that there would only be a “small flight of stairs” to manage with our baby stroller. In reality, we were met with a large, circular staircase that was quite challenging to navigate. This made the stay far from convenient for a family with a small child. All in all, while the location and staff were positives, the lack of attention to room upkeep and the misleading information about accessibility made the stay less comfortable than we had hoped.

Great location, homely feel to the hotel and really nice staff. Arrived after closing and panicked as didn’t receive any codes to enter. Luckily there was a helpline on the door which gained my access. Nice healthy breakfast selection and good coffee.

Nice room in an old building right in the city centre of Göteborg. Due to the fact that it's an old building an elevator isn't installed. It was also nice to have a safe parking space in the city. The breakfast was very good as well with different brands, cheeses, cereal and yoghurt to choose from. However noise from trucks and construction start quite early in the morning when your room is located at the front of the building. But I would definitely book this hotel again of we visit Göteborg.

Perfect location… Accessible by walk to the central station, sight seeing places, monuments, statues, churches, haga, bars, restaurants, shopping malls, all the brand shops and party clubs… Clean linen and bedding… Good spread of breakfast and it’s quite wide. Silent and few meters from the main road makes it a silent place.
