Hotel Verde - Cape Town Airport

We booked two last minute rooms here after our flight was cancelled. The hotel was very accommodating, given about 250 people were probably scrambling to book a room after the flight cancellation. We only checked in around 1am. We booked 2 rooms and ended up receiving a key to a room that hadn’t been cleaned. The staff quickly corrected it for us and gave us access to a clean room at last minute. Breakfast starts as early as 4am and check out is 11am which was perfect for us. Another perk was late check in as we checked in after midnight

Key Pros: 1. Proximity to CPT airport with convenient and frequently operated free shuttle and clear directions to meeting point. 2. Clean, functional, and relatively spacious room with very comfortable bed (thumbs up to designer of the bathroom layout for clear separation of toilet and sink/shower). 3. Fresh and above average tasty breakfast with plenty of choices (fresh fruits cut before serving instead of precut fruits from a jar. Eggs are cooked to order. Breads are freshly baked.) 4. Staff is incredible, everyone tries hard to make our stay comfortable. 5. Ability to store luggage while flying to another city to join tours, safaris, and excursions. 6. We felt safe at all times. 7. Reasonable cost. Best value for the money

A very nice and cozy hotel. Free shuttle from airport and very hospitable staff. Special thanks to the hotel manager Avril, you were very kind and helpful, thank you so much) Rooms are very clean and big, with cozy beds. The restaurant is also very nice with delicious dishes. I’ll definitely stay here during my next trip to Cape Town

I attended a work event at this hotel. Their services and staff were great. I liked their green focus and their rewards system e.g. getting coins for sorting out trash in your room, reusing your towels and taking the stairs instead of the lift. They also have halaal-friendy food. When the restaurant gets busy your wait time for food increases. I enjoyed my stay here.

Such a great airport hotel. The front of house staff are so friendly welcoming and hospitable. I arrived late notice with no reservation and they assisted me instantly. The bar area and diner are also really nice with a nice selection of food and drinks. The shuttle bus is always on time and the drivers are very professional and friendly. I definitely recommend hotel Verde and I’ll be back! Thank you.

We stayed for just one night while transitioning from Cape Town to Kruger. The hotel is VERY nice. Rooms are large and clean, with a sitting room and bedroom. A big shower, big bed. The hotel staff was warm and welcoming. There is an interesting "living wall" of plants in the lobby. We enjoyed the restaurant also. Again, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The menu is extensive. For lunch, I enjoyed a beef rollup with fries. My wife had a salad, which was nicely made. Dinner, we both had pasta, which was very nicely done EXCEPT that the sauces were way too salty. Breakfast was excellent, lots of fresh fruit, breads, pastries, hot foods, and eggs cooked to order. The shuttle to the airport was a big plus also. A very good place to stay near the airport.

We were surprised and delighted by the hotel, the nicest airport hotel we've stayed in. They are serious about service and maintaining a green building and space, and they do a super job at both. Our room was spacious and lovely; the bed was comfortable and it was very quiet at night. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and the delicious, extensive breakfast buffet. We would definitely stay here when next in Capetown. Kudos to the management and staff!

Stayed overnight after getting into Capetown airport a bit late. What a great place it is. Very clean and highly committed to its green credentials. From a drop box for unwanted items to a truly beautiful garden area with its own swimming pool. Breakfast was very good. Room comfortable. Only suggestion would be to have more water for the room. Definitely recommend if you’re needing a wee stopover or even a day between flights.
