Hotel Veronesi La Torre (Verona, Veneto) 5 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Verona may play second fiddle to Venice, but that doesn’t alter one jot the priceless historical appeal built up over more than a millennium as part of the Republic. Even better, there’s a monastery-gone-boutique within walking distance of Valerio Catullo Airport: Hotel Veronesi La Torre does a roaring trade in business travel, and it’s also a more than suitable base camp for exploring the nearby city center." - Tablet Hotels

Wonderfully situated near Verona Airport and walkable via a pedestrian walkway. We were very grateful to be able to use the facilities a little earlier as our flight arrived before check-in. We were also incredibly appreciative of a room change which enabled greater privacy and space. It was a junior suite with a terrace which was beautiful. The gardens and pool maintained to a high standard and all the bars and restaurant exceptional with a wonderful array of aperitifs, wines and yummy food. Service was kind and attentive and we had a really wonderful time. Hopefully will be back again one day to enjoy the spa facilities and a longer break. Grazie

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport—about a 19-minute walk or a 4-minute drive—making it a practical choice for travelers. The building itself is an interesting blend of refurbished architecture with a large car centerpiece in the courtyard and a swimming pool nearby. Parking is available adjacent to the property. Check-in at reception was quick and efficient. I stayed in Room 118 on the first floor. The lift was a bit tricky to find, so I ended up carrying my bags up the stairs. The room was spacious, featuring a decent-sized fridge and wardrobe with ample storage. It had a view over the inner courtyard and offered good soundproofing—despite being close to the airport, no airplane noise could be heard, which was impressive. The bed was large, made by joining two singles, with a solid, comfortable backrest. However, the room lacked proper air conditioning control—it took a while to cool down, and even then, I woke up feeling warm in the morning. Lighting in the room was limited to a single floor lamp and two wall-mounted lights near the bed. There was no overhead ceiling light, which made the space feel a bit dim at night. Unfortunately, there were no coffee or tea-making facilities in the room. The bathroom was functional, with marble tiling and toiletries fixed to the wall (including body lotion and conditioner). The shower temperature was hard to judge at first, as it took time for the water to heat up, and there was no temperature gauge. The shower cubicle itself was well-designed, with enough space to move and dry off comfortably. Although the room was mostly quiet, I did notice occasional creaking from the wooden floor and some noise from the room above. Breakfast was served in a separate area, a short walk from the room. The dining space was large, with both indoor and outdoor seating. There were several dedicated sections—for drinks, hot food, pastries, and a coffee station. The cappuccino was excellent, made from a proper machine. The watermelon was incredibly sweet and fresh, and the bacon and eggs were nicely done. However, the cakes were fairly average. Breakfast service was fine, though not particularly standout.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. The walk to the room was surprisingly long, and my first impression upon entering was that it felt old and in need of renovation. For the price of €177 per night, the value simply wasn’t there. it certainly didn’t feel like a 4 star hotel. The bathroom was disappointing, with a yellow-stained toilet bowl and an odd smell in the room. The space was very small, with barely any room for luggage, which is not what I would expect from an hotel near the airport. The shower was designed so that it could only be operated from the outside, which was inconvenient. On the positive side, the hotel did provide a breakfast to go, as well as free parking in the garage. Unfortunately, these perks did not outweigh the overall shortcomings of the stay.

Great hotel with excellent price quality ratio. Situated very close to Verona Airport (airplane noise is low) at the border of an industrial area, the impression before you enter the premises is actually not great. But it's a great hotel with high quality rooms and very hospitable personnel throughout. The restaurant has a limited menu, but the quality is outstanding. Nice seating area outside on the large very well kept lawn. The breakfast area is OK, but breakfast quality is good. The 2 gyms are very well equipped and the pools are also of good quality. The only improvement area is the shower: low water pressure and difficult to get the water temp right. The hotel is close to beautiful Verona and the Valpolicella vinyard area, so a great place to explore the area by rent-a-car. There is ample free parking outside and inside. High recommended!!!

Very clean, great indoor heated pool, outdoor one is super too but not heated. Hotel restaurant have variety of good food and wines. Free underground parking, which is connected with the hotel. As for the location, its close to city of Verona but also very close to the airport, so if you dont mind noise of jet engines, you are good :) P.s. Surroundings are beautiful. Lots of greenery.

Hotel is in a nicely refurbished old mansion with a nice garden but with service which dows not match a 2 star place... ||spa closed, a cantina stile breakfast, with most of the bars and restaurants closed during the day,... Staff does not understand hospitality... behaves as that you re there for them and not the opposite... waiting everywhere, including the check out although there was not people...||I suggest guests to avoid the place and to the owner to think about being present in the hospitality...

Very beautiful place. We got the room with the tower and it was big and clean. They have private indoor parking free to use.

We came here for a custom Italian wedding from California. Outdoor wedding was done in the hotel courtyard. The restaurant was excellent with great service. Spas and pools are well maintained. Their staffs were friendly and helpful on any concerns we've had. The hotels conveniently located 10 min drive from Verona airport. It's overall a great place to stay and we recommend this hotel to anyone who's visit the city of Romeo and Juliet !
