We had an amazing stay here. The staff was all so friendly, made us feel welcome and at home. The rooms were warm and cozy. The spa in the basement was a particular favorite of ours, an excellent reprieve after a day of skiing. The booking included breakfast and dinner, and all of the food was really very good. The dinners varied every night, so we felt no desire to go out and try any of the restaurants in the area. 10/10 experience, will be back.

The rooms were had were clean, large and really comfortable. The food was amazing, varied and the portions very large. The staff was friendly, helpful and just so wonderful. Its sometimes the small things make a huge difference! And they went above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Everyone was extremely accommodating and even allowed us to check in early, which after driving all night from Sweden was super appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience and we highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Ischgl.

If you are looking for a 2nd home in Ischgl, Hotel Verwall is the right place to be!||Beautiful, authentic and cozy rooms with everything you need for a ski vacation! Also, of course it is great to arrive after a long day in a completely tidy room. Thanks for that!||The breakfast is very varied! Choice of different types of charcuterie and sandwiches, yogurt, jams, cereals, bacon and egg,... Also, the breakfast opens early enough to immediately put on your skis in beautiful weather and start the day!||The wellness area is great for sweating it out in the sauna or relaxing in the jacuzzi after an intense day of skiing :)||The restaurant was just wonderful! Every evening you can make a salad of your choice at the salad bar. Followed by a great 4-course menu (you can often choose between 2/3 main courses -meat, vegetarian, fish- )! And to finish, you can have a plate of cheese of your choice!||And to end the day in perfection, you can have a nice schnapps in the nicely decorated and cozy bar!||The service is really top notch. Always with a smile and you can ask them anything!||The family is such a warm family that makes sure you have a marvellous stay!

This winter (Jan. 2023) it was my second visit in Verwall with friends. Again It’s was the right decision!|I love this hotel.|Location is very good. Only a few minutes walk from the main gondola, restaurants and bars. Also the slope ends right behind the hotel, very convenient to skiers.|The rooms are super clean and comfortable, the view is really nice, and the food is incredible - breakfast & dinners. |Above all - and one of the main reasons I came back is the team: Everyone is so nice and the whole atmosphere is just great and professional - from the reservation to every part on our stay.|Lovely place. Highly recommended!

.This hotel was a very well run family hotel.||I could not fault anything. The service, food and rooms were all excellent and the staff couldn’t do enough for you.||The bar was very comfortable and so if you didn’t fancy going out in the evening it was a great place to sit and have a drink.||The ski bus stopped just opposite the hotel and you could ski almost back to the hotel so not much walking in ski boots.||I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely return if staying inIshgul again.

This hotel has it all... Amazing position at the end of Ischl, awesome looking lobby and restaurant, excellent food and level of service, comfortable and spacious rooms and mainly, most friendly and kind managers you can imagine - so far we have never felt so good in a hotel which despite 4* makes you still feel as a family member. Thank you Sonja for the amazing experience and see you soon!

We paid 1450€ for 5 nights half board. We thought that was too much for what we got in return. ||Breakfast is nothing extraordinary, just one example are the croissants. You only get them once a week (!) and I can‘t remember they were good neither. There is no fresh juice, no tea selection of exquisite brand, and the coffee is not specifically tasty.||||Room 209 was very noisy (street larm), which we informed the staff about, but the hotel was fully booked. And if we were to change, which was possible after the 2 or 3 nights, there was no genuine interest of the staff to facilitate that. Actually, I believe they did not care really.||||Pillows were a joke (honestly). A 4 star hotel is required to have a selection of pillows. I was told I can get 2 of the same kind (which I got, but not really solving the issue here). There is a type of sofabed in that room for when 4 people stay with 2 chairs and a table right in front of it. You can’t really sit in a sofa like that, right? Not convenient at all, but as the daughter of the hotel replied : „just put the chairs in the middle of the room“. I asked her if she had ever been in the room, as you then can’t really pass by anymore. She looked at me like I was from Mars, and treated me quite rude. In all honesty, they know it’s not their best room and it needs to be refurbished!!||||Toiletteries are not existent: shower gel is in bags (tearing them open with your hands in the shower :))), can you imagine this for a 4 star hotel? Also, the hairdryer is ridiculous: one of those white ones on the wall, you can‘t really blow your hair with that!||||There was no welcoming water in the room (which they changed after a complaint, but I would imagine that‘s standard), no mini bar, no glass to poor a drink, no turndown service (!). We also did not like the strict times for breakfast/dinner, but adhered to it.||||Now the positives: everything is very clean. Ski room very good. Inside parking good. Dinner quality ok. Very good service at table by Lenka (thank you!). The refurbished parts of the hotel look very nice.||||We believe we received better value for money in Seespitz or Brigitte. We also felt that the staff who runs the hotel (and I read it in a previous review) are a bit „fake“. Friendly, but if you‘re asking for something extra, you‘ll see they‘re actually just wanting to squeeze you out like a lemon.. just interested in your money!||||When we were ready to leave (actually, I couldn‘t wait to get out of there), we got (surprise surprise) the opportunity to keep the room until we came back from skiing. The night before at dinner, we were asked to put the bags at reception and shower at the wellness area. It would obviously have been nice to share this beforehand! I guess they felt like having to make up for our disappointing experience. When I paid, and wanted to check the bill (I didn‘t want to pay a penny extra), I was told rudely that everything is perfectly correct as it is! Well, guess what? The customer has the right to check and re-check on the bill!!!||||All in all, we had higher expectations for the price we paid. And I would not recommend this place and obviously never return.
