Hotel Vestmannaeyjar

It’s just ok. Good location, fair price but not without its issues. Staff were not particularly friendly or interested, and the room was not thoroughly clean with suspicious stains on the bed spread and hairs on the furniture. Breakfast was good; nice selection and buffet style. Just ok.

Excellent hotel on Heimaey Island. My family (kids 14 and 11) did a week long vacation in Iceland and spent one night at the Hotel Vestmannaeyjar. It was a great part of the trip and I would highly recommend it to really feel like you are off the typical tourist path. We took a 4pm ferry to the island and the hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the dock area. Everything on the island is walkable and it is a really nice town. The hotel was very modern and clean with very big rooms.

A fantastic 2-night stay for my wife and I. Very clean rooms with a satisfying shower. Fantastic views of the weather is good too. A tremendous value when factoring in their included delicious breakfast buffet. Highly recommended

Stayed here with two other couples for what was supposed to be just one night, but the weather conditions wouldn’t allow us to leave and this hotel could not have been more accommodating to us. The rooms are very nice and clean and the restaurant in the hotel was fantastic.

Fabulous hotel. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Convenient to everything on Haimaey. Wish we were staying longer. Breakfast was better than other places we've stayed.

Good apartment in quiet location. Sea view but not very scenic. The living room has a sofabed but there are no blinds to stop light in the summer. Kitchen is well equipped. All clean and tidy.

We had an excellent one night stay at this property. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The hot tub was nice to soak into after a long day. The breakfast buffet was very delicious with many options.
