Hotel Vezia

Building is very original: it's a 1950s style motel.|Rooms are clean, co,fortable and very practical: privat garage is accessible directly from the room.|The hotel has a playing area for kids with ping-pong, table soccer and flipper and a nice pool with view of the mountains.|The staff is lovely: everybody speaks several languages and is very helpful.|Don't miss the breakfast: great coffe and buffet plenty of choice. You can eat like full meal|Really worth staying there.

Every now and then we visit this hotel when we travel from south to the north or vice versa. Motels in the traditional US style are not very common in Switzerland. This is a traditional setup with the parking lot for the car in the basement and the room and toilet in the first flor. Unfortunately our car was too big for the garage but the room was not too small and the bath and shower were working. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was just fine.

A true authentic 50’s style Hotel from the furnishings to the decor including garages storing oldie/vintage vehicles. What a cool place! Conveniently located by public transportation and city center. All the staff were attentive, super friendly, helpful, and personable. Fantastic customer service!!

We spent a few days and loved it. Friendly/welcoming and helpfull staff upon arrival. Great coffee served with breakfast... It may look dated to some, but this is the 50s style and all is clean.||Private garage under the room with direct access. Cool place and will go back some time. Hopefully then the restaurant will be open for dinner. Relive good old times 😎

Great room and private Single garage, Great burger food, Great Gin tonic drinks and friendly staff, i come Again in Summer Wien Swimmingpool Pool is open. I come for Biz in that Area and Vezia has Good Restaurants and food Stores.

Great themed hotel with individual locking garage under each room. Superb for our group of Porsches and Z4s on our Eurotour. Very friendly and helpful and a good night's sleep. Evening meal was very good and breakfast as well. Good prices and recommended for car or motorcycle groups.

Hotel was built like 60s style motel especially the restaurant. There are music box, old coke machine, 60s cars. Outside pool and pool area are great. The room is small but convenient. One more thing in most cantons of Switzerland guests are provided by free public transport tickets during their stay. But you have to ask for it to get it.

Hotel Vezia is absolutely unique because it is conceived in the cosy style of motels in the U.S.A., and is totally dedicated to the "Romantic Period of The 1950s"! Though all its facilities and services are absolutely modern, it's decor is 100% dedicated to the 1950 era! Even the owners and the staff are exuberant with the friendly and kind attitude of the 1950s. |We, my wife and myself are 81 years old and we have traveled extensively all over the world. We have experienced the most exclusive hotels in diverse countries and know "What is Quality." Hotel Vezia, its owners, and its staff gave us stay in Lugano that made us regret that we could not spend more time in this "Excellent and Romantic Hotel"!|We wish from our hearts that the owners "Famiglia Wilke," and every single member of their superb staff have Success and Good Fortune.
