Interesting little hotel in the Latin district. It's tucked back on a tiny Parisian Street. Very easy to miss, as our taxi drivers often did. It's away from most of the tourist things we ended up doing, but it was cute and quaint.
They had a lift that could accommodate maybe one person and a large bag. But it kept us from having to haul the bag up the stairs.
The room was adorable. Not really Parisian, but comfy and we felt right at home very quickly. The rug, the decor, everything was great. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. The tiny window made me laugh, as we got a view of the rooftop across the street from the top floor.
They have a physical key instead of a key card and ask that you leave it at the desk when you leave. No big deal, just another cute detail.
Reception was weary of us by the second day. They tired, But every question we asked was met with a blank look followed by a pause and then an answer. It was obvious our tourist-y questions were bothersome. (Which metro line should we take. How long do you think it will take to get to 'X,' etc.) Reception called us a cab, which overshot the hotel by a lot. We then stood in the alley way for a long time before the gentleman at the reception desk noticed us and ran out to flag the cab and have him back up - we thought he was picking up people from the restaurant down the street! Come to find out later that they do it all the time, so we just stood around for a while for no reason. Luckily the cabbie didn't charge us any waiting time.
Overall a nice stay, expensive and the service could use a bit of a polish.
