We had a wonderful stay at the hotel beautiful setting, great facilities, and most of the staff were warm and professional. Unfortunately, the check-out experience, particularly with the front desk manager, didn’t reflect the high standard shown by the rest of the team. It felt unexpectedly unprofessional and left us with a disappointing impression at the end of an otherwise excellent visit. Experiences like this can leave a lasting impression, especially in a high-standard hotel, where transparency and respectful communication should be the norm. I believe in giving honest and constructive feedback, and I genuinely hope this is received in that spirit.

One of the best hotels we’ve visited in Europe. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights for a Babymoon in July. Classic, French hotel (think white-coated waiters, wine on the terrace, antiques everywhere including in our room). The rooms are works of art with antiques and watercolors. The restaurant hosted the best meal we had all trip through Switzerland (albeit it was formal and pricey, but totally worth it). There is a giant terrace and big pool, which was welcome in the heat. Only potential drawback—which we gladly would take again—was its location up a hill, which requires either a small train or an inclined plane to go up. The inclined plane runs every 15 minutes and is free with a pass the hotel gives you, but it did add to the journey time to site see in Montreux. The benefit of being on a hill is that the hotel is perfectly quiet at night (Montreux is a bit of a party scene in July) and there are views, views, views of Lake Geneva. I did not see a family there, but that’s not to say they wouldn’t accept kids. No AC in room, but they provided a fan. Thank you for a great stay!!

Had an amazing dinner here. Wonderful views, amazing food, and excellent ambience. It was a business function, and I had paid. Truly an experience. When I went to check my expense report I realized somehow several expenses were missing. I emailed a few establishments had been to with some details. They e-mailed a copy of the receipt within 30 minutes of me sending my e-mail. For comparison other establishments I have chased through expensive follow-up (international) calls and e-mail. It's little actions like this that show people care. It also explains why everything else was so delightful. Everyone in this establishment takes pride in what they do.

Victorian style old luxury. Superb location, easy to access by 🚉 & 🚂 Manicure gardens, fantastic vistas, views of the lake and mountains. Excellent restaurant, especially if you're into white table clothing.

Absolutely beautiful spot and worth a visit! The hotel has preserved it's elegence and authenticity with a warm and refined atmosphere. The view over the lake and mountains is simply breathtaking, a panorama you never get tired of! However, I noticed that the staff was more attentive to the wealthier guests than the "standard" ones. In a hotel of this standing, such behaviour is shameful and disappointing.

The service and hospitality were superlative in this 1860s hotel with a view of Lake Geneva. It is an easy walk up from Montreux, assisted by funicular. Communication from staff before the visit was very welcome and the fine food was made better when served on the veranda overlooking the lake.

Majestic !! One of the best and most beautiful hotels I’ve been to, we enjoyed our stay and all the details to the point we actually asked to extend twice and luckily we were able to without changing our rooms. All the staff were friendly and helpful, the services were convenient, the hotel garden was gorgeous and I enjoyed it on a daily base, our room view was spectacular and perfect to chill and relax.

A few words to describe our stay .. phenomenal .. magical .. the location is absolutely beautiful, the grounds being lush and very well maintained, our dog also loved exploring the gardens. This hotel is extremely dog friendly. The staff is absolutely amazing from the restaurant to the ones who are on duty in the hotel and even late at night. We felt very accommodated. Not only is the exterior beautiful the interior is just fabulous.. you can spend hours looking at the various pieces they have and for an object or antique lover or any one who loves old world charm it’s an absolute dream. The food at the restaurant is also amazing with a great menu and changing specials. The desserts are really not to miss.. especially on the soufflé and chocolate financier They provide loccitane products which was a really nice surprise. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. There are fresh flowers everywhere. If you love attention to detail you will feel very at home here! And the view from the rooms is incredible!! 100/10
