Lets start with the positive things. Great location close to the train station yet quiet. However, it badly needs refurbishment. Clunky huge room keys. No RFID cards, beds are not comfortable. It would be great if they invest in this place before it deteriorates further

Mid at best. Stinky older rooms. Booked with booking.com. Think they have a certain room selection for that app. I even chose a better upgrade when booking. For the money there are better options. Must use a key for electricity. 10/10 would choose another place next time.

The room was big and had a coffee maker. They provided with Kettle for the hot water for the Tea. Bathroom was big and toiletries were of acceptable quality. The pillows and the Queen bed are decent. |Breakfast is Okay and same repeated every day. |The Place is really conveniently located. Bus stop , metro and train all almost outside the hotel. Disappointed and Dismissed – Not What We Expected in Switzerland Switzerland has always held a special place in my heart, which makes this experience even more disheartening. We booked Hotel Victoria in Lausanne believing it to be a reliable four-star property. We were assured the rooms were air-conditioned — a key factor in our booking. When we arrived, not only was the air conditioning broken and leaking water, but the staff showed no concern. We were told repeatedly that nothing could be done, and that it might be fixed on Monday — but we were checking out before that. There was no room change, no fan offered, no empathy, not even a kind gesture to make us feel seen or heard. What saddened me most wasn’t the broken air conditioner — things happen — it was the cold and careless attitude. We weren’t treated with basic courtesy. It’s hard to reconcile this with the Switzerland I’ve loved for its beauty, warmth, and precision. I sincerely hope the management reflects on this, as hospitality is not just about amenities — it’s about how people are made to feel when things go wrong.

Superb hotel just a minute from the main station. The room was super spacious, with high ceilings, renovated bathroom and very clean. Nice stuff and quite. Very recomendable.

A big disappointment! Our AC wasn’t working! We had water leaking from the ceiling light, no housekeeping was done and on top of it all the staff was very rude and refused to help us! We had to get our own fresh towels from the housekeeping room!!

We stayed at Hotel Victoria Lausanne for five nights in one of their Superior Twin Rooms. The room was spacious, beautifully designed with high ceilings, and impeccably clean—exactly as depicted on the hotel’s website. The hotel’s location is excellent, just a short walk from Lausanne’s train and metro stations. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. In particular, Bouchera at the reception was attentive and provided us with advice about the Lausanne Travel Card upon our arrival. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the welcome card, complimentary water, and Lindt chocolates in our room, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Hotel Victoria Lausanne and would gladly stay here again

Honestly a shit place. I'm so disappointed in their lack of service and complete absence of recovery attempts for poorly maintained facilities.

Cute boutique, character hotel. My room was tiny for the price, but facing a back street. It was actually nice because it was quiet. Good bed, modern bathroom, exceptionally clean. The food here is quite good and the service from all staff is amazing. Possibly the most helpful people I've ever encountered at a hotel. They offered help with train tickets and even offered to help me to the station with my big suitcase. I can't stress enough: they are so very kind. I'd stay here again based on that alone. Very convenient location. The main CFF train station is 200m down the road and the Metro is across the street from that. With your stay, you get a free Metro card, too, which saves some money. If you're coming into Lausanne by train from Geneva or elsewhere, you're just a few minutes' walk to Hotel Victoria. Two points I did not like: again, the room was quite small. I've been in worse, but still. Also, no kettle or coffee supplies in the room. They have 24-hour room service, but I'd rather just have the in-room kettle. I definitely recommend this hotel. The service and location make it a real find.

Great location by the train. Small, quiet hotel. Front desk service was sometimes good, sometimes bad. Large bathrooms and comfortable rooms.
