Hotel Victoria

Our stay at the Hotel Victoria was fantastic. It is located inside the city walls very close to the train station. It is walking distance to numerous historic areas and sites of interest In Nürnberg. The staff here are very accommodating. They are helpful and pleasant. The rooms are exceptionally clean, new, and well thought out. All the amenities you need are available, including excellent Wi-Fi, ample hot water, excellent cold air conditioning, and great sleeping beds with upscale linen. The morning breakfast (which is included with your room) is great. It includes cappuccino, coffee, latte, and numerous choices for your breakfast meal. All was well prepared and tastefully served.||There is a reading room with table and chairs excellent for laptop work if needed. ||The room rate seems very fair and booking through Hotels.com was easy and allowed the reservation to be placed on my Apple wallet making it easy to keep and pull up when needed. ||Nürnberg is a wonderful tourist destination and thank you Hotel Victoria for making my stay great. ||J. This hotel was a great last minute choice for our one night stay. You can pull up to the front door on the cobblestone sidewalk/road. (It's a little confusing but when you drive past the gates into Old Town, the hotel is the very first building on the left and you can turn onto the cobblestones and park in front of the door to unload and check in. You will then get very clear directions to the parking garage which is right around the corner.) The hotel is clean and quiet. The room was nice. You are in Old Town so the location is perfect. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was decent. Staff was friendly and helpful. It's a no-brainer booking this hotel. Also, if you're in the market for a nice leather purse, be sure to pay and visit to Peach Patrol. Amazing leather purses. The owner is also the designer. The prices are reasonable, too.

Loved our 4 night stay here. We happened to stay here during the music festival at start of August but found room well soundproofed that did not get disturbed at night.We had an attic room that had everything we needed - very clean and nice view of Main Street. |Air con worked very well and shower powerful and lots of warm water.|Breakfast was wonderful in a light and airy breakfast room. Everything such as the bread and pastries were so fresh. Lots of choice and liked that hot drinks served to table. Staff very attentive and you could help yourself to water daily from fridge in reception area.|Only one negative was that Wi-Fi did not work - very weak signal that had to use 4g data to look at anything on our phones.|Would stay here again if visit Nuremberg and recommend.

We had a very good 2 night stay. Everything was fine, except the service to park my car. I have a Rather large car and to get it into a small and crowded parking garage was not easy, after the long journey. And there was nearly no help with unloading our luggage.

From the moment we arrived we treated with warmth and attention. The hotel has clean modern lines, really good breakfast with homemade food. Attention to detail and everyone was so friendly

Topnotch service by all members of staff, Very friendly at the FO and excellent service at breakfast. (Spanish lady, really good!!) Located a few foodsteps from the centre. Clean and comfortable rooms. Parking garage3 - 5 minutes walk.

Enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. Location is perfect right in the old town with the train station across the street. Rooms were nice and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This hotel is really great, the staff are lovely and helpful. The location is right next to the train station and close to all of the restaurants/shops. However, the noise from the street was an issue. Our 5 year old could not sleep due to the man playing an acordian outside the hotel for a few hours, and I did not sleep due to the general street noise through the night. This was a shame as the room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was fantastic and the free ice lollies/water was a nice touch. The staff even borrowed us an umbrella when it was raining. If we was to return to Nuremberg we would definitely stay again if there was a room available which did not face the main street.

We loved this hotel. Excellent breakfast. Great location, just across from the train station, but behind the quiet ancient city walls, and at the foot of old town and the walk up to the castle. We will stay here again. Our only complaints is that they ran out of room to hold our luggage until checkin and when we came back, it was sitting out behind a bar with access by anyone. And the WiFi was torturously slow - impossible to do a Zoom meeting. Not sure it has air conditioning. We were there for the Christmas Markets. If traveling during the summer, Germany is getting warmer, so check it out.

10 for location and sustainability. 5 for parking directions and ease of figuring out parking. 0 for the dirty laundry and maids carts that sat outside my door for 3 days from 9-4. (See pics below and what I had to 'walk' through to get to my door. 0 for noise. 0 for respecting the do not disturb sign and knocking multiple times on the door. 10 for breakfast. 5 for mattress comfort. 0 for departure day and having laundry ramps going down the only stairs to exit and trying to maneuver around them to get my luggage to my car. I'd recommend finding somewhere else to stay.

Wow! Everything was great. Service was way above par. Breakfast (complimentary) was absolutely amazing! Loved this Hotel!!!!!

We stayed at Hotel Victoria during a long weekend in Nuremberg. Great location, very Control both the train station and old town. The room was very well appointed and we slept well here. The shower is a little small but it was fine. I was pleased with the selection and service at breakfast. A great range of choices for meat eaters and vegetarians, and everything was excellent.

This was my absolute favorite hotel stay during our trip across Europe! Everything about this family-owned boutique-style hotel was excellent: hospitable staff, delicious breakfast buffet, immaculate rooms, luxury linens, cozy nooks to relax in, modern elevator, and location right across the street from the Nurnberg Hauptbanhof (train station) and at the top of the Konigstrasse thoroughfare. The staff really made us feel like family and were quick to honor any request we made. They were also constantly asking for feedback on how to improve, which makes guests feel like they matter. I highly recommend paying just a little bit extra to get an upgraded room or suite, as the views from your rooftop window and deep soaking tub (I could have soaked in that tub for HOURS!) help one to relax at the end of a long day of travel. The hotel was easily walkable to major shopping, farmers markets, major museums, transportation and Christmas markets in the town square. I would stay here again in a heartbeat-- in fact I probably would have stayed longer if I didn't have a flight home already booked!

This place was wonderful! The staff was very kind and so helpful. You can't beat the location of this place. It's close to transportation and many delicious restaurants and coffee shops. The rooms were spacious and well decorated. My favorite part of staying here was the breakfast. Amazing!

I have been visiting my family in Nurnberg for years but never had to stay in a hotel until this last trip. My wife and I read reviews and book 3 nights at Hotel Victoria. We were very impressed with everything about our stay. The room was fantastic, the location is hard to beat, the breakfast was incredible and the staff was very friendly and more than accommodating. Lena helped us check in when we first arrived and she was so pleasant and never stopped smiling. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location and good facility. My only negative is the rooms have no A/C and leaving the windows open is noisy. The breakfast is good and they have free parking but it's down the street.

Best breakfast of our trip. Expansive breakfast buffet. Very good suite room. Close to train station, walk to everything in city core. Book directly with Hotel website for free wifi.
