Hotel Victoria

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It was very convenient--just a short walk from the train station. From the hotel, it was very easy to walk the old city and Christmas Markets. The front desk staff were all friendly and helpful, and thankfully spoke English for us. The rooms were comfortable with a modern design, and they were kept tidy by housekeeping. We could not believe the breakfast that was included with the room rate! A bountiful assortment of cold items, breads, pastries, fruits, cereals, as well hot items to order. Delicious! We had an extremely early check out and the front desk arranged us a very nice "breakfast-to-go" for us--much appreciated!

We had an excellent and relaxing stay here. We especially lived the teamwork of the dedicated staff and friendliness. Instead of an impersonal hotel experience, we felt like we were staying with extended family for the holidays. We had a comfortable room with puffy pillows and a great bed. Daily housekeeping was immaculate. Breakfast was eggs to order with bacon or sausage and serve yourself all kinds of German delicacies. The staff even went out of their way to grill some toast as my mom is a toastie in the morning. The location is directly across ftom the train station with access to an underground tunnel with lift. Lots of restaurants nearby and a about a 10 minute walk to the bridge. Loads of restaurants and shops along the way as well. The reception desk staff need a special shout out for assisting my elderly mom on a daily basis. It was much appreciated 👏. My only recommendations would be daily water bottle and a doorstop for the bathroom door.

This lovely hotel is very close to the train station but is so much nicer than hotels usually found around European train stations. It is located just inside the old city wall, a 5-minute walk from the train station, close to the historic city center and the fabulous German National Museum, and an easy 15–20-minute walk to the castle. A great location for exploring Nuremberg! Victoria Hotel is in a historic building, with a pleasantly modern and sophisticated interior. Our room, located on the first floor, was a quiet and nicely appointed, a typical European room size with a comfortable bed, and a nice bathroom with a shower and the usual amenities such as hair dryer, shampoo, and bath gel; if you want hair conditioner, ask at the desk. The room photos on the hotel’s website are accurate.The hotel has a cute, small bar and a comfortable lounge area away from the desk noise and front door. The buffet breakfast was the best and most varied we have experienced in our years of traveling in Germany. The staff were great: gracious, clear, and helpful at every turn. We really enjoyed our stay here, highly recommend this hotel, and hope to stay there again.

Perfect location right at the entrance to Old Town Nuremberg. Parking was down the street but not too inconvenient. The rooms were clean and pretty spacious for Europe. The breakfast was amazing. Customer service was great. Highly recommend.

We stayed here during the Christmas holidays. The Christmas market is a few meters away from the hotel. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the station. The hotel is also close to the main shopping street as well. |The breakfast is amazing and the staff are so nice. |Overall, the stay was made brilliant due to the hospitality of the staff. |Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Nuremberg.

Very clean and wonderful convenient location. Friendly and helpful staff and comfortable rooms with choices of pillows. Nice breakfast with made to order eggs but need a toaster !!! 😀. Small bar area and many sitting areas throughout the hotel. Lots of history and very modern rooms.

Hotel Victoria is a beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms. Our room had a great view and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We were also able to request different types of pillows which made our stay extra comfortable. The breakfast buffet had plenty of delicious options and the staff were very helpful and accommodating.

We loved this hotel. Excellent breakfast. Great location, just across from the train station, but behind the quiet ancient city walls, and at the foot of old town and the walk up to the castle. We will stay here again. Our only complaints is that they ran out of room to hold our luggage until checkin and when we came back, it was sitting out behind a bar with access by anyone. And the WiFi was torturously slow - impossible to do a Zoom meeting. Not sure it has air conditioning. We were there for the Christmas Markets. If traveling during the summer, Germany is getting warmer, so check it out.

10 for location and sustainability. 5 for parking directions and ease of figuring out parking. 0 for the dirty laundry and maids carts that sat outside my door for 3 days from 9-4. (See pics below and what I had to 'walk' through to get to my door. 0 for noise. 0 for respecting the do not disturb sign and knocking multiple times on the door. 10 for breakfast. 5 for mattress comfort. 0 for departure day and having laundry ramps going down the only stairs to exit and trying to maneuver around them to get my luggage to my car. I'd recommend finding somewhere else to stay.

Wow! Everything was great. Service was way above par. Breakfast (complimentary) was absolutely amazing! Loved this Hotel!!!!!

We stayed at Hotel Victoria during a long weekend in Nuremberg. Great location, very Control both the train station and old town. The room was very well appointed and we slept well here. The shower is a little small but it was fine. I was pleased with the selection and service at breakfast. A great range of choices for meat eaters and vegetarians, and everything was excellent.

This was my absolute favorite hotel stay during our trip across Europe! Everything about this family-owned boutique-style hotel was excellent: hospitable staff, delicious breakfast buffet, immaculate rooms, luxury linens, cozy nooks to relax in, modern elevator, and location right across the street from the Nurnberg Hauptbanhof (train station) and at the top of the Konigstrasse thoroughfare. The staff really made us feel like family and were quick to honor any request we made. They were also constantly asking for feedback on how to improve, which makes guests feel like they matter. I highly recommend paying just a little bit extra to get an upgraded room or suite, as the views from your rooftop window and deep soaking tub (I could have soaked in that tub for HOURS!) help one to relax at the end of a long day of travel. The hotel was easily walkable to major shopping, farmers markets, major museums, transportation and Christmas markets in the town square. I would stay here again in a heartbeat-- in fact I probably would have stayed longer if I didn't have a flight home already booked!

This place was wonderful! The staff was very kind and so helpful. You can't beat the location of this place. It's close to transportation and many delicious restaurants and coffee shops. The rooms were spacious and well decorated. My favorite part of staying here was the breakfast. Amazing!

I have been visiting my family in Nurnberg for years but never had to stay in a hotel until this last trip. My wife and I read reviews and book 3 nights at Hotel Victoria. We were very impressed with everything about our stay. The room was fantastic, the location is hard to beat, the breakfast was incredible and the staff was very friendly and more than accommodating. Lena helped us check in when we first arrived and she was so pleasant and never stopped smiling. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location and good facility. My only negative is the rooms have no A/C and leaving the windows open is noisy. The breakfast is good and they have free parking but it's down the street.

Best breakfast of our trip. Expansive breakfast buffet. Very good suite room. Close to train station, walk to everything in city core. Book directly with Hotel website for free wifi.
