Overall, this hotel was very nice. The breakfast is amazing. Staff are very helpful. The rooms are perfect and comfortable. Only issue is the noise from the street. Almost impossible to sleep without earplugs. All hotels in this city have this problem though. Don't forget your earplugs, you won't find them in Peru.

Beautiful hotel with very nice staff and amazing food. The staff are very nice and understanding, a lot of them speak English and the food is really good. In the United States I would never pay extra to have breakfast included at the hotel but at this hotel it is absolutely worth it to pay for the included breakfast. Everything they prepare is really delicious and a lot of the items vary day by day, we ate here twice for dinner and although it is expensive it is really tasty. The location of the hotel is also perfect for anything tourists related and it is one of the safer locations in Iquitos. If you’re on a budget and you just want a place to lie your head with a pool, without paying for breakfast or a more expensive dinner I highly recommend the market/cafe down the street called Los Portales. But thankyou to all the staff at the Victoria Regia for allowing my wife and I to have a safe and comfortable place to call home for a few days!

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. As an Asian person, I felt racially labeled. They automatically listed my nationality as Chinese without asking me or checking my passport properly, even though they were holding it in their hands. This made me feel disrespected and uncomfortable

I had a great stay at Hotel Victoria Regia. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a pleasant stay. The staff was very accommodating and always willing to help with any requests. One of the highlights was the breakfast—fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day. The only downside was the noise level. The road outside can be a bit loud, and at times, other guests were noisy, which made it a little difficult to relax fully. However, overall, the hotel provided a great experience, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Iquitos.

Stayed here for one night stopover. Didn't arrive until 10pm and out by 9am so didn't see a lot. However, served a purpose. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. Shower good and hot. Room basic but that's what we booked. We travelled around Peru on our holiday and this was the best breakfast. From the moment you walk in to the breakfast room the atmosphere is uplifting and lots of variety and choice.

Just a very good experience. The front desk staff was both very friendly and very helpful. The hotel is clean and the cleaning staff did a great job on our rooms. The food in the restaurant is as good as any in the city and the staff was excellent.

My family and I have been staying at this hotel for the past 20 years, whenever we come through Iquitos which is almost every year. This is the only hotel we stay at when we’re in Iquitos. They’re reliable, honest, and the hotel is lovely. The new renovations have made it an even nicer place to stay. They have great breakfast and clean rooms. The staff are always very warm, welcoming, and super helpful.

Nice hotel, good location, 2 blocks from the river, tons of shops, pharmacies, Mercado close by. The bathroom has a sewage smell after shower. Softer pillows would be nice
