Hôtel Victoria

We did a lot of research on where to stay in the French Riviera. Because it was July and we needed two rooms cost was a factor as well as proximity to the beach. I can’t imagine making a better choice than here. - the rooms were very nice with a view of the ocean - the front desk staff were very friendly and always helpful - because it was hot we went to the bar every morning and they gladly and with a smile filled our water bottles with ice and water - it was very clean - the area was not claustrophobically crowded with people - there is a bus stop right outside the building - it is a close walk to the train station - a very nice public beach was across the street. Bring water shoes or flip flops! The only negative was dinner choices were somewhat limited in the area. We did eat multiple meals at Cocody Sun across the street, which was pretty good. A real positive was the breakfast and coffee place just around the corner. We ate here every day. Great coffee and fantastic bakery items. Highly recommend!

Lovely old hotel with recent modern restoration. In the quiet end of the promenade with wonderful ocean views. Close to convenience store and cafes. Such a lovely little town. Can't wait to visit again.

Greeted by Irene on reception with a welcome lemon drink. Very acceptable on a hot day. Had a lovely seafront room with balcony. Irene was so helpful and a credit to the hotel. Gave us some very useful tips etc on various things. They have a Tapas service from the bar which is really good. The lady was very nice who did the food. The prices where very reasonable. Eat 2 nights. will be back when back in Menton

This place was very nice! Right across from the water. Short walk to the train. Fairly quite area, a little traffic noise. Fridge, safe, AWESOME staff!! Very helpful staff!! Would stay here again! UPDATE: Forgot to mention the unbelievable showers! The water flow and pressure are incredible!! I never liked rainfall shower heads because they all seem to just tickle down on you. NOT THIS PLACE!! Hi for and high pressure water. I'm a convert!

Cozy hotel, located just across the sea. Staff super friendly and helpful. We were welcomed with a welcome drink; a minor room issue was quickly resolved by the staff. Thank you so much for the amazing stay; we will definitely be back again.

Really enjoyed my stay! Staff were very friendly and helpful, location is perfect and view is great. Hotel parking was reserved by others for some of our stay but we didn't have much trouble finding parking nearby within easy walking distance of the hotel. We stayed here to see the Formula E race weekend in Monaco - it was easy to get an Uber from the hotel to the circuit.

Basic hotel. Not 4 stars. I asked for a quiet room and was told my room was quiet or had to pay 40 euros to get one. It was only for a one night so I took my chances and trusted the hotel receptionist. Well that didn’t turn out well. She told me the coffee shop downstairs shut down around 7. However they partied until midnight.

We loved our two nights at this hotel. Although situated near a round about, at night there is no traffic noise. The view is superb, and the rooms are renovated, being the entire first floor of an old typically French Riviera apartment block! The staff at reception were helpful, we took the car garage option for our rental vehicle, which is within walking distance. The best shower on the entire holiday of one month! Fabulous water pressure, tea and coffee making facilities, a different pillow delivered to the room with a smile, iron and board in the room! Good size balcony with very comfy chairs. Breakfast nothing outstanding but adequate, I did love the fresh orange juice every morning! I was given a beach chair and towel at reception: I did not last very long on this "beach" made out of stones! |I highly recommend this small but unique hotel!

Great Hotel! The view on Cap Martin from the balcony is great! The rooms are clean and nice designed. Every room has air condition, a free safe, a flatscreen TV with satellite reception and a little fridge. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly. The breakfast is good and worth the 12 Euros per person. Menton with its beautiful streets, cafes and restaurants are only a few minutes walk on the promenade away. Monaco is just a couple of minutes by car away and the walk around Cap Martin promises an impressive view to Monaco.
