Absolutely phenomenal experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and incredible professionalism by Sarah at the front desk. She went above and beyond to make sure every detail of my stay was perfect. Whether it was dinner recommendations, helping with last-minute changes to my booking, or just her genuine kindness, Sarah made me feel like a VIP guest. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and comfortable—but Sarah truly made it unforgettable. 10/10, would stay again in a heartbeat!

A fantastic experience this weekend at the wonderful Vier Jahreszeiten Starnberg hotel. The room was very spacious, the place very warm. The staff is attentive to every detail, the breakfast was exquisite, and the spa was a truly wonderful place to enjoy. We will definitely return. Starnberg is a charming place with its lake and views.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at HVJS. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The concierge service, especially from Sarah, was outstanding—she went above and beyond to ensure a seamless experience. The rooms were spotless, quiet, and very comfortable, making for a perfect night’s sleep. Dinner was an absolute highlight, with exceptional quality and flavors, and the breakfast buffet was one of the most extensive I’ve ever seen—everything you could possibly want to start the day right. On top of all that, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the entire stay even more enjoyable. 10/10—highly recommend and will definitely return!

A highly recommended hotel for those who want to travel in Bavaria. A maximum of an hour's drive to sites in the Alps. The hotel itself is pleasant, clean and the staff is smiling and pleasant. Highly recommended.

This hotel is excellent. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the breakfast is delicious. I highly recommend it!

We enjoyed our stay here while visiting Munich. Very helpful and friendly staff and a well apportioned breakfast buffet. The typical European hotel shower plagues itself here as well. Water all over the bathroom floor. It’s about an 8-10 min walk to the train station. We did feel safe making the walk even at night.

Perfect location close to the lake. Nothing to complain about. Breakfast was extraordinary.

Quite a typical upscale hotel. Good rooms, friendly but not always perfect service. Classic south German architecture. Food is good and sometimes even surprisingly so. Sauna is much better than the average for a 4 star hotel, but sauna connoisseurs will find it merely acceptable. I really liked it! It's a mixed sauna like most are in Germany so if this us an issue you now know before getting embarrassed. Gym is very basic, but will give you a workout to survive a 2-3 day business trip if weather does not allow a good run. During my visit they forgot to restock shampoo once, which was a bit annoying. Room was not properly cleaned every day. Sloppy. One morning I got up later and trying to show at around 8 am was not very pleasant. No hot water left... Unacceptable. List prices are too high, and for private stays I would not see it justified to pay more than 120-130 EUR off-season and a bit more during summer. Conference area and business services were great. Free WLAN, projectors working, coffe, water, fresh fruit etc. I recommend this hotel for business and it's a maybe for private stays (there are other better and more cozy hotels in the area).
