The lunch and dinner food is terrible! Breakfast was so so. Either over salted scrambled eggs or they looked like Polenta of how dry they were. Rice super dry not edible. We only had cold things from the breakfast, yoghurt and bread with ham and cheese. I do not recommend eating at this hotel, super expensive and not edible the food. I stayed in small town hotels with 10 times better with food.

We stayed for four nights, and on the first night, we had one caipirinha and a portion of Coalho at the hotel. About three hours later, both my partner and I started feeling unwell. I began vomiting and experiencing severe diarrhea, feeling sick throughout the night. The following day, we reported the incident to reception. We were told they would contact the nutrition team, but we waited for over two hours without any response. Eventually, we had to return to reception to ask for an update. Only then did a staff member come to ask me a few standard questions. However, after that, there was no follow-up, no check-in from the general manager, and absolutely no concern shown for our wellbeing. We missed planned activities due to this incident. To make matters worse, we were also overcharged for items we never ordered. Despite this, there was no compensation or goodwill gesture offered, which is incredibly disappointing for a four-star hotel. Having worked in hospitality for most of my life, I am well aware of the proper procedures in situations like this. Their complete lack of care and accountability is alarming, and I am concerned about the safety of other guests if this continues. I would strongly advise against eating here unless you want to risk food poisoning.

The hotel is average. The gym is old and poorly maintained. The rooms are barely okay, the bed is quite bad. The service is good, as people are friendly. The restaurant serves decent food. The location is the best part with sea view (if you are lucky).

Do not book this hotel. The rooms are dark and dingy. The service is inexplicably sleepy. They assigned us to room 425 which hsd construction going on. Then the front desk staff didn't understand why we needed a different room. Finally got a room but it lacks enough light and enough charging points. Not even close to a 3 star hotel, let alone a 4 star. I feel massively deceived. Sad to be here.

In this case 4-star should not be confused with luxury. The room was clean but pretty bare bones. No coffee maker in the room, not even an iron, the hangers were mostly broken. All furniture was weathered. Breakfast was solid, though you may suffer if you have lots of dietary restrictions.

traumatic experience for me, would not suggest you try for yourself - poor hospitality even for brazil, non walkable, dirty humid rooms with broken ac, unpalatable food, and bears - 4 star recognition??? this is 2 stars maybe. save your money

If you have any respiratory problems, cannot sleep with very noisy aircos or have a problem with dirty unclean rooms, don’t choose this hotel. We complained clearly, even through our Brazilian travel agentt/operator, who contacted the hotel. So language is not an excuse. On our first day a technician checked the airco and the low humming noise was gone when we returned to aiir room. But all fungus was still there. The manager promised to clean the airco of the fungus that is around the inlet that blows into the hotel room. But when we came back from a tour, the airco was just as dirty. A pitty, the location is nice, the food is good, but the rooms and maintenance is not worth 2 stars in our opinion. And complaining doesn’t help. The seaside would be nice if the windows would be somewhat clean, and the private cleaning douche was not… clean? 😳
