I had a wonderful stay at Villa Achenbach in Düsseldorf. The hotel is charming, beautifully decorated, and has a very cozy atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and my room was spotless and comfortable. One of the highlights for me was the lovely, well-kept garden – a perfect place to relax. The background music was also really nice and created a very pleasant mood. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with plenty of choice. The location is quiet yet still close to the city center. I would definitely recommend Villa Achenbach and would be happy to return!

Hotel Villa Achenbach||I had a brief one night stay here in June 2025 in a deluxe room 35 on the second floor. This was spacious, with a little balcony with seating overlooking the hotel gardens. The hotel is in a Victorian building and is quite small, with original features and an attractive lobby lounge area leading into the hotel restaurant. ||The bedroom had air conditioning and a nice bathroom with a walk in shower. |I measured the WiFi at a quite racy 89 Mbps download and 33 Mbps upload. ||The staff that I encountered were friendly and helpful. The hotel is slightly out of the centre of town in a peaceful residential area.

Every time we come to Dusseldorf, we stay in this wonderful villa and it is always invariably good, as is its wonderful hostess.|This is a stylish house - an oasis of peace in the noisy and bustling Dusseldorf.|The furniture is of high quality and the atmosphere is harmoniously maintained in the old English style. Everything is very well maintained and furnished with love.|If you are by car, you can arrange a parking space on the hotel grounds in advance.|I liked the very friendly hotel staff and the impeccable cleanliness of all the rooms.

|I have been staying at this hotel for many years and love it as my home. Stylish, cozy interior, thought out to the smallest detail. Excellent breakfasts in a beautifully decorated restaurant with panoramic windows to the garden. Well-trained staff, good bar, comfortable beds and linens. In general, this hotel does make everything to make you feel relaxed and comfortable.

I booked two nights in Villa Achenbach and found the hotel clean and comfortable. It is located on a leafy suburban street lined with old villas, a peaceful retreat with it's own garden. It's a short hop in/out of town by tram or bus. There are coffee shops, markets & restaurants within a short walk. The decor was amusing, I think the Interior Designer was going for a Gentleman's Club vibe, but I kept expecting Harry Potter to appear, it felt as if we'd walked into Hogwarts (a great selling point if you are a Harry Potter fan!) One thing I think would improve the quality of one's stay would be if even a simple Continental breakfast were included (the rooms are $$$). On my last morning I asked if I could get a cup of coffee and I was given directions to a nearby coffee shop (in the pouring rain). Even a coffee machine in the sumptuous haunted library would be nice. That said, the bed was comfortable and had deliciously crisp white sheets and the rooms were clean.

Very stylish and classy hotel in the heart of Dusseldorf. Great services, located in a quiet location surrounded by greenery that makes you feel like in a holiday. The breakfast room facing the interior garden was awesome.

My Husband & I had the most wonderful time here last week.Upon arrival Anna guided us into the parking area as our car is right hand drive and had to be opened the opposite way around! She explained how the trams operated and gave us pre paid tickets.. So kind and helpful.Lovely ❤️ The hotel is perfect in every way. Every member of the team is so relaxed and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again if we ever return to Düsseldorf. It is a masterpiece. Thank you all for our perfect stay.🙏😎😎 Ruth & Chris
