Hotel Villa Amazônia

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Manaus. We stayed here for one night and unfortunately had only a short time for breakfast, but it was delicious. Breakfast is served in the old part of the hotel. We can find the traditional flooring similar to the one in the Opera House. The hotel is very clean and is very nice. It is ideally located in the centre of the old city and look at the Opera House when you exit the hotel building. The swimming pool and gym also very nice and the gym is very well equipped. The only downside is that it is quite pricey to stay there.

My travel partner and I stayed two nights at the Hotel Villa Amazonia in early April 2025 prior to starting a river cruise from Manaus. The hotel far exceeded our expectations on all counts. The entire building is an architectural gem, with welcoming and tastefully appointed public spaces. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The two breakfasts and one lunch we had were excellent...the two nights of dinners were hit or miss (some foods good, others just missing) which is the only knock. The location was super convenient for touring the historic area.||Lastly, the staff truly makes this hotel shine...reception, restaurant, etc. - all were so very friendly and helpful. This is just one example - I was celebrating a birthday and my partner asked if they could provide some cake w candle as a surprise at breakfast. So as I was sipping coffee the next morning, the staff come in singing and with the most delicious, huge 4-layer house-made cake with a candle on top. No charge for either the cake or the rousing rendition of "Feliz Aniversário"!||We stayed in another high rated hotel in Manaus after the cruise...and the Hotel Villa Amazonia was so much better. 5 stars and easily the best hotel in Manaus.

Gorgeous hotel - decor with the “forest” theme throughout. Spacious and comfortable room. Lovely pool day and night time. Fantastic restaurant with great food. Staff members were very friendly.||The only reason we gave 4 stars instead of 5 was that they refused to store our suitcases when we spent a night in the Amazon jungle because it was their policy. We had reservations before and after our jungle trip, and they gave no advance warning about this policy until I just happened to mention our plan when we checked in. They were extremely rigid about it without offering any solution. This caused a huge panic to us. Thankfully our tour group was very accommodating but it meant our tour guide had to transport our suitcases on the boat and into the jungle.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel after having been for more than a week into the Amazonian jungle watching birds with a guide. All was great: good bed, air-conditioner not too strong and not too week/not too loud, all clean and modern. The food in the restaurant was really tasty and good and offered many local Amazonian dishes and/or food with local ingedients. The staff was friendly and always willing to help. We will certainly come back

When we, 2 very travel weary seniors, arrived early the staff rushed to make our room available. Very grateful for their effort. Room was large, clean, quiet with a comfortable bed.||Their restaurant is also excellent. We had a really enjoyable dinner and breakfast there. Their baker is to be commended. She makes wonderful bread.

After a reasonably long flight during the night from Panama, I couldn’t have been more delighted to arrive here. Immediately upon entering I knew I had made a good choice: the decor is beautifully considered with lots of small details that, taken at aggregate, create a wonderfully relaxing sense of place. All the staff I encountered seemed to be very well trained and cheerful, yet again in the characteristically relaxed way that defines the hotel. My room was beautiful yet simple, with an expansive and comfortable bed as well as toiletries made using local products from the Amazon. I loved the touches of wood throughout. The pool are is equally gorgeous and tranquil with all its palms; I can heartily recommend enjoying a jambu caipirinha out there. Breakfast was excellent, again drawing on a plethora of local ingredients, whilst the lunch I enjoyed one afternoon was also delightful (a jambu risotto with local river fish). Whilst this is not a cheap hotel by Brazilian standards, I did find it to be very much worth the money and can heartily recommend it.

This is probably my favourite hotel of all the ones I’ve stayed in. Ever! The people were absolutely wonderful. The hotel isn’t new, but it is perfectly maintained. It has such a sense of serenity about it. I absolutely loved it and I was sorry to leave.

This place is a gem! The room was lovely, airy and well designed overlooking the pool. The AC worked well. The shower and bath products were wonderful. The bed was huge. The ceviche that I tried at the bar is the best I have ever had (and I have been to Peru). The breakfast options included acai which I was glad to try. Obrigada too for the lovely wooden bookmark!

This is the best hotel in the City of Manaus. The professionalism of the staff, the cleanliness of common areas as well as room, the awesome breakfasts and dinners at the restaurant Fitz were some of the highlights. The hotel is very attractive and appropriately 'Amazonic' but with a modernist influence. The pool is beautiful as well as the lush gardens around it. Villa Amazônia is located downtown and steps away from the Amazonas Theater... a great place to be.

What can one say about a perfect stay at this rustic yet luxurious hotel? The staff were excellent, helpful, and friendly. The room was comfortable, locally influenced style, and a great view. The hotel restaurant is absolutely wonderful and definately worth a few visits. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options and the food was delicious. The pool was reinvigorating and enjoying a caipirinha from the bar poolside was very nice. Next we are cruising out of Manaus we will definately be staying here again.

By far the best hotel experiences I have ever had! Every single hotel staff member I encountered was very friendly and professional. The lobby and hotel rooms are comfortable and very tastefully decorated. The shower is very nice and relaxing. The view of the vegetation and pool area from the room is beautiful. I love the peaceful and relaxing environment throughout the hotel. The food & drinks in the bistro and cafe are all delicious. We ate every single meal at the hotel and we were not disappointed one time. I can't say enough good things about Hotel Villa Amazônia! We loved every moment of our stay. Thank you so much. :)

excellent stone monument, i hope to always glimpse with my eyes, always check the reality of the history of Amazonas.
