Hotel Villa Aurora

We booked this hotel last minute as our campervan's roof was leaking, it was an emergency for us and we managed to book 3 nights on the same day. The hotel staff couldn't have been any more helpful! They helped us find a dry place to store our van, gave us a ladder, made sure we had everything we needed. They were so lovely to us. We can't thank them enough for rescuing us. We also visited the restaurant which was amazing. The breakfast was also very tasty. We hired a boat from the hotel - the guy was really friendly. 10/10 would stay here again! Thank you so much Aurora!!

The location and dining were excellent, but the room (standard double) was just too small for two people, and the bathroom was larger than an airplane lavatory but smaller than a cruise ship bathroom. Maybe cute for a night or two but tough for 5 days. The boat tour with Mattia left right from the hotel, he was outstanding and the highlight of the whole lake!

We stayed at the hotel for two nights from 20.09 to 22.09 and we wish we stayed more! The hotel is very charming, clean and with great location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bathroom is on the small side but with an amazing design and finish. The window is right in front of the bed and when you wake up, the first thing you see is Lago di Como and its beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was delicious and varied.

I spent a week in Hotel Villa Aurora and from the moment I arrived I was treated like family. Everyone there is so polite, friendly and approachable. The staff there are always on hand to help with any questions you may have and go above and beyond to find you the best ways to get around Lake Como. ||The rooms are cleaned to perfection so when you return from your travels it is immaculate.||Their Restaurant is situated just in front of the hotel and the staff there are just as great, the food is amazing and has a great view of the lake. ||The hotel is also perfectly placed as it's a 5min walk from the Lezzeno ferry port which is essential for sightseeing and a 2min walk to the bus stop if you want to get to Como city centre.||I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

I have nothing but praise for Hotel Villa Aurora. The staff is friendly to English speakers, and very helpful. The atmosphere is very cozy with a small bar, local food, and several outdoor patios. The views of the lake itself are stunning, especially if you have a balcony. I also just looooved having room service that cleaned the room without leaving it smelling like bleach. (I can't stand the smell of major hotel chains.) I would absolutely stay here again!

Where to begin? We had a group of 16 visiting Lake Como for our wedding in June and could not have asked for a better experience. From arrival to checkout (5 days total), the staff were attentive, warm, friendly, and the biggest help with such a big week. Cristina especially was so amazing to work with. From coordinating our lodging for so many people to helping plan and organize our wedding dinner, she made the process so smooth from half a world away (we’re based in the U.S.). The location was perfect. Lezzeno is much quieter than Como or Bellagio but still has stunning views. The water ferry port was less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel. If you’re driving or planning to arrange private transfers to get around, Lezzeno is about an hour drive from Como and 10-15 minutes from Bellagio. The hotel itself was beautiful; very much a classic Italian villa style. It was well maintained and clean with daily housekeeping. The views from the hotel are incredible, I highly recommend getting a suite or a lakeview room with a balcony (we personally stayed in their suite with a patio). We were impressed with the complimentary breakfast every morning which had plentiful arrangements of pastries, meats, cheeses, fruit, and more! My personal favorite was the self-serve espresso machine which made the most delicious cappuccinos. The restaurant, which is a separate building across the street from the café, had some of the best food we have had in Italy. The bruschetta was our favorite which we enjoyed at every meal and family members raved about the pear ravioli. You could also never miss with the pizza. The staff were very accommodating for such a large group and took great care as we had a couple of dietary restrictions (vegetarian and gluten-free) for some of our guests. As mentioned, we held our wedding dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, and it was truly magical. We selected their meat menu, and each course was perfect. The hotel created personalized menus for the dinner which we kept copies of and will be a cherished keepsake. It’s difficult to fully encapsulate how great this hotel is, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing stay when visiting Lake Como. We’ll be back for our 10-year anniversary, Salute!

Another wonderful stay at Il Molo as part of the Aurora Hotel. A lovely three bedroom apartment steps from the hotel with amazing views of the lake. We just love it here. We spent days on the hotel deck and the kids loved the water activities. We ate in the hotel restaurant mostly as the food is so good but also visited Stone house restaurant. The staff are all so lovely here and helped us greatly through our stay. Kids say a special hello to Leonardo who took us out wake boarding again this year! We have already booked next year we can’t wait.

Me and my girlfriend were staying down the road and visited here several times for breakfast and dinner. We was always met by warm friendly faces and lovely services. The food (dinner/breakfast was always good. |Couldn’t recommend enough!
