Hotel Villa Belvedere - Rates 2025

"The Belvedere is an elegant villa with views of Naxos Bay and Mount Etna in the distance. It is next to public gardens, and a 5 minutes' walk from Taormina's Corso Umberto. Hotel Villa Belvedere offers classic rooms with elegant furniture and air conditioning. Most rooms overlook the sea, the gardens or the summer outdoor swimming pool. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The villa is surrounded by terraced gardens filled with flowers and palm trees. The panoramic swimming pool is set on a sun terrace with sun beds and parasols. The restaurant is also located by the pool. It serves traditional Sicilian cuisine for lunch. When booking a room with a breakfast-included option, a generous buffet is served between 07:30 and 11:00 in a sun-lit breakfast room with sea and garden views. Early breakfast is available on request." - My Boutique Hotel (en)

This hotel is a dream, with old-world Italian charm and gracious hospitality. I think the views have ruined me for views in any beautiful place from now on-- they are truly stunning. Step outside the hotel you can walk down the stairs to Isola Bella, up the stairs to Castelmola, or through the public gardens-- all spectacular. Taormina is touristy; this hotel, though close to everything, felt like an oasis.

We stayed in Taormina for a wedding and couldn’t have landed in a better hotel. The view was fantastic, the rooms were great, the food as well but what topped it off was the staff! Everyone was so friendly and kind. Especially Joshua who was super attentive to everything and wanted to ensure our stay was great. His recommendations were on the spot and was flexible with our changing plans. I would go again just for the experience!

LOVED this place!! So charming and classy. The breakfast was amazing!!!! Very quiet area at night, but a short and easy walk to Corso Umberto. Also very close to the public gardens - do walk through them!! Our room was just beautiful with a giant terrace with the most amazing view. This was truly the best place to chill out for a couple days and beat our jet lag. I would 100% recommend!!!

First time at this wonderful hotel in a great place. Staff were kind and friendly and they couldn’t do enough for you, making our stay very special. We stayed in the huge rock suite, and loved the location, pool and drinks by the pool bar at 4 pm as we watched the sunset ( as it’s late October ). The town centre is a short walk away with wonderful bars and restaurants and loads to do and see very close by so you don’t need a car. You can get either a train or bus from the airport, but will need a taxi from the station. Big thanks to all of the staff especially Ludmila for her warmth, care and kindness and great fun waiter Gabriel.

A gem of a Hotel! We found this hotel by accident after our ABNB did not work out and we are so glad! This Hotel is charming, clean and hospitable. The staff is friendly and the included breakfast is great. The room we had was huge with a balcony. The location is absolutely the best, located just a block or 2 from town. They arranged for a free shuttle to the beach also so we never had to move our car.

The hotel is very nice but the staff is amazing, specially Rita, people like her are the ones that make a difference. We stayed at an amazing suite with incredible news. We have been at Taormina many times, and this hotel is the place to stay at, there are other beautiful hotels too, but the staff (specially Rita) is the reason we always come back to Belvedere

The quality of service we received from the moment of contact until the second we left was impeccable. Special thank you to Rossana and Mario for all of your assistance! The view of the sea from our suite was just breathtaking, the breakfast that was provided every morning was elaborate and delicious, the pool area for guests was an oasis with a stunning view, and the location was great! Our suite was clean and had everything we needed for our family of 5. It was very family friendly as well. Highly recommend! Our only regret is that we wish we stayed longer to enjoy it even more! It was difficult for us to leave such a lovely place!

Yelp
This is a truly special hotel in one of the most special towns in all of Europe. Taormina is of course sensational and Hotel Villa Belvedere offers the very best of what you can find in the area. It's a little out of town, but the walk through the public gardens or via the teatro greco make for a lovely stroll into the main area (do know, however, that if you are looking for something near the main tourist strip, you will likely walk 10-15 minutes to get there). Overlooking the waterfront by the pool with an Etna spritz is really an unforgettable experience, as is the incredible breakfast, the excellent staff and the comfortable albeit somewhat cramped rooms. One caveat to all: we had requested interconnecting rooms or something adjoining when we booked months in advance. The manager assured us he would do his best. They also offered a family villa for the price we had paid for the 2 rooms, which we should have accepted (we didn't, and we ultimately wish we had, despite the fact that the view was not as special - you can really enjoy the view any time in the breakfast and lounge areas, or by the pool). When we arrived, the best they could offer were rooms nearly 8 doors apart. We worked out a favorable compromise and they were really very willing to work with us, to their credit. But, if you are hoping for truly interconnecting rooms, you will not find them here. The garden suite has sufficient space in the living room for two twin beds (but the garden area is full of mosquitos and frogs, so both unusable during the day and evening and noisy at night), or perhaps the villa rigamonti would be a worthy alternative. We managed to make do with a small suite that had an extra twin bed, which they augmented with a second bed for our young kids. It was perfectly adequate for us. Ask for room 65 if you are in a similar situation and wish to pay for just 1 room but have your kids nearby). All that said, the service is very special, the location is stunning, the beds very comfortable. The breakfast is unmatched and Taormina itself is simply not to be missed.

Yelp
I can't say enough about this hotel! The staff from Maria, to Joshua, to Antonella and Marco and the little older man at night were EXCEPTIONAL! They made not only my Husband's birthday and our anniversary special- they went over and above for us! The room, the view, and the hotel in general are outstanding- I honestly felt like I was staying with my family. The staff made sure everyday we had amazing places to eat, shop, and tour. I do admit my Husband and myself are a very "high maintenance" people and they met every requirement we had- massages, hair appointments, makeup appointments, and our laundry was done to perfection! I would highly recommend if you are visiting Taormina this is where you need to stay!
