Just left Villa Cosy, stayed with my husband and two young kids and for four nights. The rooms were great and the property was nice, waking distance to town which was great. The staff at the hotel helped with dinner and beach reservations which all worked out really well. Also very accommodating towards children. Heated pool was lovely.
The one issue I have with this place is the value for the price. It seems they squeeze in as many charges as possible before you leave. Everything is a la carte. Usually 5 star hotels offer guests breakfast...here there is no breakfast items included. Also no restaurant, so you have to order breakfast to the room and pay around 30 euro per person per day.
Water is also not included. They have water bottles that they clearly reuse and refill - for still and sparkling, and still charge 9 euro per.
Also if you are bringing kids, take note that there is an additional **70 euro per kid per day charge** - there is some fine print about this but it is not explicitly written. We booked a suite that fits 4 people, but apparently all prices (even for suites) are only for 2 guests, so we were hit with a surprise 600 euro on the way out the door. When asked what it was for, they told me it was for making the bed for the kids and towels.
Also check your line item bill in detail on the way out, i noticed a 200 euro charge for a cigar on mine, which we never ordered. It was promptly refunded and obviously a mistake but still, thats a big one.
