Picked Alquezar as a layover between Bordeaux and Alicante once over the Pyrenees and into Spain. Even though was end November and swimming pool was closed this didn’t diminish from overnight stay. Room traditional Spanish with fabulous views over village. Bit of a schlep along narrow roads once off main roads but that was part of charm. Breakfast plentiful and fresh. |Hotel Car parking a bit of a treasure hunt around narrow cobbled streets and caused a few sharp intakes of breath but once you’re in it’s fine. All village is within five minute walk.|Good.

The breakfast is delicious, people were friendly and kind with us and our baby. The location is also right in the middle of the town.

Location location location! Astounding town above a gorge in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The hotel has old beds and stiff pillows but is otherwise like no other. The whole place has a medieval feel. The staff were very helpful. The pool is the best we’ve come across in all of Spain. A beautiful experience.

What a fined! We had a superior double with covered terrace fantastic views large and comfortable room. Worth twice the price and only a few more than the standard room. Pool and open spaces all clean and lovely wish we had stayed longer.

Alquezar is a small village, it is not difficult to find the hotel, but we were wrong in the first place to find the hotel parking which is at the back side of the hotel. We had a do a complete drive through the narrow streets of the village to enter again. We were given a superior room, which was not the booking we had, but nobody noticed, neither us. The room was very nice, spacious and with a great balcony overlooking the village and into the whole area, just perfect. The hotel itself has no restaurant, but there are enough throughout Alquezar. The breakfast was served with all food prepared readily prepared on the table. All was very fresh, and enough. They have wonderful swimming pool, unfortunately beginning of October is not the best time to use it. ||We enjoyed our stay very much. When checking outn we had some dispute about our invoice, as it was not according our reservation. When we showed our reservation, they were very surprised but accepted it without any discussion. This is fully acceptable ... no complains. Yes we would stay again, booking the superior room now directly.

Fantastic room, in a fantastic hotel, in a fantastic village. For 95 euros, we had a comfortable room, with a private terrace, and a warm shower (even a tub). The breakfast was so good, with local products. We had some trouble finding the parking, and we were glad our rental was a small car, as the village's streets are fairly narrow. I wish we had more time there!

Yelp
We live this place. My wife and I spent 2 nights here with a small balcony over looking the town and the castle. They have wifi, breakfast, and a salt water pool. Love the breakfast which is placed out on the tables as you walk in. Isn't not buffet style breakfast. Pretty cool. It's all natural food. Love the fresh squeezed orange juice. The location is convenient. Easy to get around and see the town. Salt water pool is nice. They have a service bar at the pool. Beautiful scenery
