Hotel Villa del Ángel

Beautiful hotel with comfortable bed, clean, great shower and delicious eggs for breakfast. Very hospitable. Nice art on the walls. It’s a shame we couldn’t take it home to England! Highly recommend this place. Quiet and ideally located for centre and 8 minute walk to bus station.

A perfect choice for Villa de Leyva. Around a 5-min walk from the main square, this is a great hotel. Beautiful building. Absolutely huge bed! Everything in the room (including a safe) was very good. Very friendly staff and the best breakfast I had during my visit to Colombia. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Villa de Leyva.

We stayed in a king bed room (room # 3), facing the hotel corner and it was a dream! It was spacious, impeccable, bathroom was spotlessly clean, bed was comfortable, and the view from the balcony was astounding and peaceful at the same time. The room has a small table and 2 chairs with a candle, perfect for a romantic glass of wine (which we actually enjoyed as we took a bottle of wine with us for the trip). We are heavy sleepers so we did not listen to any noise mentioned by other guests. Breakfast was perfect, three different options are offered, so there is variety and portions are generous. Fruit is portioned same style as big hotels, so we can tell the hotelier experience of the owner Doña Otilia and her daughter, who run the hotel in a quality management way. We would definitely be back!

Not surprised it's got over 200 reviews and still 5 stars. Amazing hotel. We ended up changing our plans and staying an extra night because of it.. great staff, good breakfast.. rooms super comfortable and clean.

An absolutely fantastic place to stay… great location, very courteous and helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms. They graciously assisted us in organizing our 1/2 day trek to Raquirá. There is nothing to dislike about this beautiful hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Villa De Leyva.

Great location and price. Service was good which of typical of hotels in the area. They did allow me to leave my luggage there after check out so i could better enjoy my last day. The breakfast is tradition Colombian: Fresh and delicious.

We stayed here for one night and found everything to be perfect. Twin room was clean and comfortable. For Breakfast we had fresh fruit and juice and eggs prepared to our liking.|The staff were helpful and friendly. They even loaned us an English adapter when we realised we had forgotten ours.|Location only a few streets away from main plaza.|Highly recommended.

Excellent location near the main square but quiet. Great room - very comfy bed, good bathroom (lots of hot water), lots of natural light and very clean. Very good breakfast. Super friendly and helpful owners. Very helpful bus timetables for Bogota available. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
