Beautiful somewhat increased location with a large terrace of the castle over Lipari can be seen the sea. Beds are very, very hard in this room, this is not suitable for everyone. WiFi was unfortunately defective in this area and could not be repaired on request, possibly the following week. Breakfast is plentiful, even muesli, everything. Ist possible to have a Taxi ti thrme port for free.

Brilliant hotel with a villa feel as rooms are on split levels with terraces to sit on outside. There is a great view out to the rest of the town, castle and sea. Good selection at breakfast. It was very good value as well. Very quiet location yet not too far from town.

A mini paradise right in Lipari. We stayed here for 4 nights and did not want to leave. The room was large and clean, but relatively basic. The view from our room out to the terrace and beyond was simply breathtaking. We had the sea, the castle, and the hills. The gardens are full of beautiful colourful plants and trees, plus a couple of very friendly cats. Breakfast was very good, coffee was excellent always served outside on the terrace. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this gem and we can't wait to return there. Thank you everyone for making our stay so special.

What a lovely surprise! We enjoyed our time so much at this place that we didn't want to leave in the end. The views of Lipari and the bay are invaluable and I could have sat there having breakfast for the rest of my life. The room was cozy with a good, hard mattress. The terrace is the centre piece of this place - you wake up every morning to a dream. Breakfast was more than you would expect from Italy and very good (in my eyes, good coffee and a croissant). The beds were made every day and the place was very clean. Staff (unfortunately, I do not remember his name) was very helpful and friendly. Altogether, one of the best stays of my life, considering price/value. Definitely, I want to come back.

What a charming hotel with spectacular views perched up on a hillside on Lipari. The flowers on the grounds were as spectacular as the view. Breakfast on the patio with the beautiful views was delightful. 2 of our party had to leave early before breakfast was served.....the management arranged to have the breakfast set up early to accommodate them. The paintings by the Swiss artist Hunzinger adorned the room. The property had originally been a compound higher on the hill that his original home at bit farther down the hill and converted to a hotel. If you inform them regarding your arrival time they will pick you up at the port and transport back to the port at the end of your stay. You could easily buy bread, fruit, cheese, meat and wine and make a wonderful meal with the spectacular views on the patio. The room is not fancy but has everything you need....and why would you stay in your room rather than outside on the patios....there were several. ||Take the hydrofoil from Messina, which runs about every hour on the hour during the summer to get to Lipari. And the cost of the hotel was so very reasonable!!!

My wife and I enjoy every second of our stay. From the assistance the moment we arrived, the breath-taking view right outside of our room, to the complimentary shuttle to and from the beach. As well as a wonderful breakfast of house made pastries, fresh fruits and juices. We were in bliss, or ecstacy. Pretty sure both 😁. The staff, including management, were exceedingly helpful with tips and information about the island. The hotel was conveniently located close to the markets and great restaurants. Most importantly the "Corso Vittorio Emanuele ii," popularly known for it's shops, local souvenirs and excursion agencies to plan adventures around the Island. I would definitely recommend👌 We're already planning our next trip back.🙌🏾Not to mention how impressed we were with the cleanliness of the entire place and sanitizer machines everywhere. 🙏🏽

Absolutely a beautiful place and the highlight of our trip to the Aeolian Islands! I highly recommend this place to stay. The rooms are nice, large, and have everything you need. The staff are incredibly helpful and even offer a shuttle. It is easy to access, but also not on a noisy street. The breakfast was delicious and the views were priceless. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Villa Diana and will definitely visit again so that I can explore more of the Aeolian Islands!

My husband has been staying here for a catch with friends and family. He grew up on this island and a friend was making the trip back so it was decided that he would go and make those memories |He said although the room was small. He had a great balcony. It was a 10 min walk into Marina Corta which was the main Piazza. He has enjoyed the stay and will be leaving tomorrow. He reported that it was clean and the staff super friendly. Thank you
