Hotel Villa Flori

This was an outstanding experience. The interior was beautiful, and the views from the hotel were amazing. The rooms were immaculate, I’ve never stayed at a hotel as clean and well taken care of as this one. The staff was incredible every step of the way. The lounge bar was great, and bartenders and wait staff were always amazing. The daily breakfast always had great food and an amazing view. And the location is perfectly in between Cernobbio and Como, so there’s always something to do. Certainly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had.

My stay at Hotel Villa Flori was truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of comfort and warmth that made me feel at home. The atmosphere was calm and elegant, the room was beautifully maintained with an amazing lake view, and everything was perfectly clean. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented, with a lovely view that made every morning special. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful — always smiling, always ready to assist with anything. Their genuine care and attention to detail made a huge difference. A special thanks to the manager, Mattia, for his outstanding hospitality and professionalism. His warm and friendly attitude truly reflects the spirit of this beautiful hotel. It’s an experience I would definitely love to repeat again. I left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to return someday. Highly recommended!

Today is the 31/10/2025 .. 23.15pm uk time …we’ve just got home from our 4 night stay at this hotel ..… not knowing anything about lake como ( only the football team ) the minimoon was OUT OF THIS WORLD !!! Me and my new wife have NEVER been to a place like this and will probably never go anywhere else like it .. I haven’t got the worlds to describe how amazing it’s been .. all we can say is the hotel .. the staff .. the place .. the places you can go almost straight from this hotel .. the food .. just everything … absolutely spectacular .. and to think we only booked it going off the pictures online .. I’m glad I didn’t read the reviews because some of them would have put me off booking here … but I can 100% say I cannot find anything negative to say about this place .. if I had to nitpick it would have been nice to have a few more English channels on the tv at night but that’s neither here nor there lol .. we will be coming back 100% .. so from this happy newly married couple we would like to thank every single member off staff at hotel villa Flori for making our honeymoon unforgettable !! Keep up the amazing work ..until next time … AND THERE WILL BE A NEXT TIME !! 💙💙👏👏👏

Beautiful property sitting right on the lake, short cab ride or take the nearby water taxi into town less 10 minutes either way. Mattia I cant thank enough for providing my wife, friends and I a great trip. Gave us multiple recommendations that all turned out to be great selections. When we make our next trip to Lake Como we will absolutely be staying here again. We didn't have dinner here during our stay, but their bar is fantastic.

We stayed at the Hotel Villa Flori, and from the moment I saw the sign, it took my breath away. The style, the elegance, and the unmistakable Italian spirit were present in every corner. I fell in love with every single detail and the rich history of this beautiful location. The hotel’s position right on Lake Como is simply magnificent — waking up to that view is unforgettable. The food and drinks were exceptional, perfectly complementing the magical setting. The staff truly made our stay special. A heartfelt thank you to Mattia Pizzagalli and Katerina, who were fantastic from start to finish. They showed us every charming corner of the villa and were incredibly knowledgeable about all the attractions around the lake. From boat rides to seaplane tours and restaurant bookings, they arranged everything with care and professionalism. Hotel Villa Flori is a perfect blend of history, luxury, and warm Italian hospitality. Highly recommended!

This hotel is beautiful & immaculate & the views are spectacular. Our deluxe room had a balcony with unobstructed views of the lake. The bed was very comfortable.||The lounge is small and intimate with a wraparound patio with beautiful views of the lake. Such a wonderful place to end our days and the hor d’oeuvres they served complimentary with the drinks were beautifully presented and very good.|Breakfast was delicious with many fresh options to choose from. We also had a delicious meal in the restaurant Raimondi with fresh whole fish for two that melted in our mouths.|The service was top-notch by everyone from the front desk staff, the restaurant, and the lounge. Luca was a huge help weeks before we arrived helping us arrange our memorable vacation with airport transfers, restaurant reservations, other transportation requests, and he answered any questions we had very quickly. He really eased our mind since we were coming to Lake Como for the first time from the US. In the lounge, Giovanni served us delicious drinks we had every evening to toast our wonderful days.|We are so happy that we discovered and selected Hotel Villa Flori for our Lake Como stay!

beautiful boutique hotel right on Lake Como. three miles north of the town of Como, and one mile south of the village Cerrnobio. by far the best location on Lake Como. great service everywhere in the hotel. Luca at the front desk was a pretty cool dude, and helped with restaurant reservations, the guys in the cocktail bar were nothing short of amazing, the maids were so sweet and work so hard, breakfast service on the terrace again exceptional. do not miss dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. Michelin star quality, service, atmosphere. have the veal pasta, egg plant parm, and for dessert the raspberry souffle. outstanding!!! walk to Como from hotel is scenic and only a couple miles. great stay!

The customer experience was impeccable at Villa Flori. The customer service training that the entire staff must receive was far above and beyond my expectations. The reception staff were all professional, polished but extremely friendly and happy to accommodate any requests that I had. The breakfast serving staff were attentive and paid attention to every little detail. My room rate included breakfast - every single dish was impeccably prepared and presented in the morning buffet. My room was superb - a breathtaking view of the lake and a beautiful room (and an extremely comfortable bed). The entire property was gorgeous beyond words. We were at Lake Como for my son's wedding. The bride and groom stayed in the 2bd/2ba Villa. The views and the entire space was beautiful. The entire property is extremely well maintained with impeccable attention to every detail. I cannot say enough about the overall wonderful experience we had at Villa Flori. If I could give then 10 stars I certainly would! The location and everything about Villa Flori are what dreams are made of!

Beautiful views but rooms were very dusty. I dropped a sock by the wall and picked up so much dust it made me gag. Great service and breakfast options but still a bit overpriced IMO as the rooms were very basic. The premium is strictly for the views. Also, I could hear upstairs alarm go off every morning and it was exceptionally loud. Wouldn't stay here again as it was a drive to go anywhere. Would prefer to stay in a more central area where it's walkable.

Beautiful but dirty. "The sly lady on the lake." Mold in the shower area unacceptable. Filthy carpets. Filthy walls. A front desk crew that is rather disengaged and uninterested. (There's this area they go and hide to avoid working. It's rather funny actually as It's behind glass that the customer can see through. "Dude we can SEE you." And it's a lame waiting game.) Tea served w/ a massive booger on the teacup handle.Putrid. Small rooms ... but that wouldn't be bothersome IF they were clean. Views spectacular. Balcony nice. Free breakfast w/ a very nice crew. Free water in glass bottles. Excellent.

We stayed for five nights in August at the peak of tourist season. The views are breathtaking from the breakfast balcony and the upper bedrooms. The breakfast staff was very attentive and friendly. The deluxe room was very small but comfortable enough and the tv, which is ancient, did not carry CNN. The minibar offering was uninteresting. My main issue was the MOLD on the bathroom walls, probably accumulated because the ventilation was so poor. Any mold is unacceptable, especially for a 4 star hotel. We walked to Cernobbio several times along the busy road to have dinner and catch a ferry. Also easy to order a taxi to go into Como or up the lake.

Best service. Wonderful restaurant. Only reason not 5 stars is lack of pool or access to lake swimming. Fantastic otherwise.

My daughter I and I stayed here for one night on our journey from Italy to Switzerland. The location is great and the views are amazing. I paid to upgrade to a better room and the views were spectacular of the lake. The staff was pleasant, but not a 5 star experience.

This was an amazing stop on our Italian adventure. The staff was simply amazing arranging everything from cars to giving us the best advice about where to visit and eat! Mattia was particularly helpful arranging to send me so articles I left behind to our next location! The view from our room was spectacular and there are a couple other point to lounge and get some sun. The breakfast, which was included, was out of this world! Thank you!

The grounds and views were spectacular. The staff was friendly but not particularly efficient. My main issues were the hotel offered no services, and the "Jr. Suite " was in fact not a suite, and was no different than their deluxe room, except the 350 euro per night more in price. Book with caution.

Stayed at the gran lago suite ( the best suite) overlooking the lake. The view is incredible, but the whole hotel, including the suite, was on a really busy road on one side so we also enjoyed constant traffic noise. The suite was NOT up to standard though. When we went in 2 of the floor lights don't work, no one explained how to use/connect the audio speaker systems, no paper towels in bathroom, and most annoying of all, the kitchen was not preped for guest use. -gas had to be turned on, staff took over 2 hours to figure out how the stove lights -no paper towels, no salt and pepper -no cooking knives just dining knives -no cooking utensils -no complimentary bottle of water (for the best suite of the hotel there should be) Our first few hours there were miserable, because there were so manyyyy problems. Most of them were eventually solved. But I feel the front desk staff downplayed these problems, and the attitude was of false politeness. There were also at times it seemed they thought they were doing us a favor by fixing the problems. If they could update the suite and check everything before people checked in it would be better... Otherwise it was definitely NOT worth the 1500€ I payed. Don't stay here.

Great view of Lake Como, literally waterfront. Breakfast is enjoyable with such great views. Breakfast is included but it's not greatly optioned for such an expensive hotel. The room is spacious and clean. The bathroom is roomy as well. The design not so much as it is a large bathroom but the shower is tiny, and you flush the toilet in the shower. I wonder who thought of that idea. The hotel is situated in Como, in a great neighborhood, looks nicer, upscale. Reminded me of La Jolla. It's a great place if you want great lake views, it is a couple of steps from the ferry station that takes you to other points of interest along the lake but it is a little far from the historic part of Como which in itself is a lovely little town. We didn't mind it though. At night when we got back from sightseeing, we would just walk to a good pizza place a block away that was reasonably priced and with excellent customer service; you can't miss it, it's across the street from the ferry station near Villa Flori. Vecchia Tavernola.

Beautiful location and an decently renovated hotel. Really is a "4" star as stated. Have a drink at the bar during the day and definitely don't miss breakfast (the food is okay but the view is unbelievable. Hit up the gym as well - they have a full sauna and steam room that no one used the times i was there. One con: the internet is terrible - 6MB shared for the whole hotel.

The hotel is wonderful !! Our room is on the lake and we have an amazing view ! Recommended for relaxing holidays on the lake. Very close to the center and many restaurants around ! We had an amazing time !!!

Wonderful is the only thing my wife and I can say about the staff here. So friendly and always going the extra mile to make us feel as if we were at home. The hotel rooms are beautiful and the location is on Lake Como. As I write this I am watching the waves of the lake under my feet. The view from our room can only be described as spectacular! This is a beautiful and very convenient location. HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

It's one of my favourite hotels in Europe, and I've stayed there over 10 times. If you're doing business in Milan, it's only 30 minutes north, by freeway. Lovely rooms, attentive service, gorgeous public rooms. I prefer the old wing, as opposed to the modern wing. The restaurant is great, but it's an easy walk, along the lake, to downtown Como, but you probably want to drive to downtown Cernobbio, which I recommend for outdoor concerts, etc. Spectacular mountain and lake views from the rooms. The parking garage is a bit tight and requires some patience. Closed in the winter. Prices are decent. I DEFINITELY recommend it!!!

The service is very good with the exemption of some staff at the front desk. The rooms are very small. The shower is so small that you can't get to your feet. Breakfast is very good and it's included. Views from all over are incredible! If you have a car try not to park in the main parking its almost impossible.
