Hôtel Villa KOEGUI Bayonne

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. From the moment you step in to the moment you leave, and beyond, you feel like you have entered into a luxury spa villa. For the price especially (at this time of year : March) you can’t go wrong. The service was incredible, the finishing touches as well. I have a major criticism : the bathroom doors slide together and are two way glass with one being mirror and the other being see through…. The problem being that you can totally see through from the bedroom side in, and when you are staying with family it can be very awkward. I do like that the doors slide however because it really did open up the room. 3 other minor criticisms : slight moisture smell sometimes, the twin beds were not the most comfortable, and the one blind didn’t open leaving the room to feel a little dark in the day. But again, these criticisms shouldn’t deter you from a stay at this incredible hotel. Thankyou to the staff for our stay, I hope to come again very very soon.

The hotel is in a great central spot whilst the room was quiet. The decor was modern and recently refurbished. Although the window to the shower room was visible from most of the rest of the room. The staff were very friendly (noteworthy in itself for France). Good value too!

Very convenient location for touring Bayonne by feet or public transportation. Room, actually a suite, was very comfortable with a modern stylish design. Very quiet. Breakfast was quite correct, although you had to ask the servers to replenish some empty dishes at the counter, even one hour from closing time. Some little negative details: - the shower glass door did not properly close, and should be fixed, and collided with a hanger which was probably a source of the problem; - when you leave the room at 11:54 am, 6 minutes ahead of the deadline, you don’t expect your card to be immediately deactivated, so that you cannot enter again for a last minute check. The card should be deactivated only when you return it at the desk. Overall. Villa Koegui is a very nice hotel for a pleasant stay in downtown Bayonne, and the personnel was courteous and helpful.

Nice decoration and comfortable, even in room or public area. Breakfast is attracted.

Wonderful location in Bayonne. Strong wifi signal. Bathroom very nice and new. Bed comfortable with nice linens. Breakfast buffet nice, but would be much better to have table coffee/tea service instead of self service machine drinks. Machine drinks are never hot enough and are cold immediately. Wish there was a minibar in room. Staff would store items for you if needed. Would recommend and stay again if in Bayonne.

Wonderful boutique hotel. Warm, comfortable environment, great decor and fabulous beds. A shoutout to the great front desk staff who were very helpful during my stay. Thanks Maeva and the team!

Looking for a Hotel Bayonne don’t look past this one. Spacious rooms, well appointed and modern fit out, well located and well priced. The front desk staff we dealt with during our stay where super friendly and very helpful offering to make calls on our behalf to check what pharmacies where open on. Sunday. Highly recommend.

Amazing service. Both the evening and daytime front desk manager were very hospitable. The room was very comfortable and the location quite central. The private sauna in the gym is great too 👍🏻
