The hotel is a good 2 stars hotel. The building/rooms are old, but cleaned every day. bed is comfortable. Breakfast is typical for 2 stars. The location is very good. 10 minutes walk to the beach. To Athen center about 40-60 minutes with public transportation. The reception team is just great. Friendly. Speaking all possible languages. Svetlana spent at least 20 minutes to work out a plan how to visit all important places , gave a lot of nice advices. We felt as at home.

I stayed here for five days in September 2022. . I would liketohave stayed more. This was my second trip to the Glyfada area. On the map I was concerned that this hotel might be farther from Glayfada than it actually was. It is actually about a 15 minute walk to the center of Glyfada, but located between two tram stops which will take you there in about the same time without as much af a walk. The hotel is well kept, has a very nice and helpful staff and the rooms are some of the nicest for the price I have stayed in. I had asked for a room high up in the hotel and they gave me one. It had a nice balcony and very nice batroom/shower with very good amenities. It had a small refrigerator and an analoge TV, which was not much use to me. The internet was strong. Breakfast was basic but more than enough. It served drip coffee for free, expresso or capachino was an extra charge. To the south there is a nice walkway along the ocean with access to narrow beaches. The Glayfada geaches can easily be reached by tram. Bus stops in both directions are near by. In the Glayfada area most of the hotels are located on the noisy main road from Athens that passes right though town, making them quite noisy. This hotel is located on a side street which offers a reprieve from the noise. Breakfast is buffet style and can be eaten inside or outside. Before staying at Villa Orion I had made reservations for the rest of my stay at a hotel where I had previously stayed. Viilla Orion was just a fill in for five days that my first choice could not accomodate me. When I return to the Glyfada area Villa Orion Hotel with be my first choice.

The location was very good, near to the beach and the bus station. Also within a km from very good restaurants. The staff was very friendly and they helped us with late check out and some good information for visiting and nearest beaches. The room was very clean.||The style was a little ancient, it is an old building with old facilities. The old bed, old bathroom, and everything give a sentiment of old. Breakfast can be improved.

Good place to stay for a night or two before returning to the airport next morning, for example. 5 min walk to a gated and organized beach (catering mostly to families with little kids and seniors). 15 min walk to a cluster of decent restaurants. Overall good value, although some of the rooms feel a bit dated and could benefit from a renovation.

A family operation close in one of the most beautiful areas of Athens, Glyfada and Voula. Personnel, friendly and gentle. Room, clean, comfortable and luxury. The hot spot called hydromassage in a huge bath. Sure I will try to visit again. Prices normal , included a typical breakfast.

terrible administrator, the tone of communication with guests is unacceptable, she could not find our reservation, she was not polite, I recommend the management to fire her. demanded 100% payment for the room upon arrival! for breakfast there was a basket with boiled eggs boiled a month ago, which did not change, apples and coffee, dried bread. the cleaning lady never cleaned up after our arrival! the administrator guy wrote us an invoice for no reason, we had to spend a lot of time proving that it was a mistake. road noise rooms are old and rundown. I do not recommend this hole!

i have stayed at villa orion multiple times now as an end of holiday hotel on my annual greek vacation. while the hotel won’t win any awards in a hurry it’s brilliant for what it is. the rooms are clean and well maintained , the staff friendly and helpful . the decor is a bit 1980s meets bourdello in a charming way , the breakfast ( continental ) is served in a cheerful courtyard garden which doubles as a comfortable sitting area night and day with bar service. it’s location is super convenient for voula beach ( 5 min walk) and Glyfada restaurants / shops ( 10 min walk). it is in a residential area so it’s quiet although it’s only 100m from the busy coastal road which is good for taxis. ||Villa orion’s rate is about 60 euro a night which is very reasonable for the area.

When I am in Athens I always stay at Villa Orion in Voula. It's a fantastic place, near to the beach as well as near to the city of Athens. The bus stop is just 100 meters away. Most important bits quiet. The rooms are individually CV designed with lit of style. The personell ist always friendly and the breakfast is rich. Though the prices are very low. I have tested lots of Hotels. This one is far the best regarding the relation of price and services.
