Hotel Villa Ottone

We stayed at Villa Ottone for four nights. The room, the pool and the premises are really great. The food at the two restaurants was also great. The only improvement I could think of is a better gym, we were able to find one in Portoferraio. I would stay here again.

Beautifully situated on the edge of Portoferriao bay Ottone is a magical place. The views from the restaurant at sunset are absolutely stunning. This winter the hotel has had some major refurbishments and the outdoor pool is a wonderful place to relax. The staff are extremely professional, welcoming and helpful. It is worth booking on a half-board basis because the restaurant serves an excellent 4 course dinner of typically Italian food and there is a great choice of hot and cold food at the buffet breakfast. We always look forward to our annual visit to the Villa Ottone, which is why we have come for the past 10 years and plan to continue in future.

Such a lovely hotel and I believe probably the best place to stay on Elba! Gorgeous old world charm, nice rooms, great spot for aperitivo, and amazing beach. The beach and loungers make it so you’d never really need to leave the hotel! The water is nice and the beach restaurant is picturesque and great quality. The American Bar for drinks was my favorite!

The food here is very good. There is always an abundance of fresh fruit available at the ristorante del parco for breakfast and dinner. Both meals there are very good|Ristorante Ottonella is also very very good. ||All of the staff throughout the whole resort are fantastic. It is a very clean and quiet hotel. ||The beach is small and a bit rocky. There is some trash on it from all the boats that moor nearby. |Taxi service is readily available. |We would definitely stay here again.

We have been coming to Villa Ottone for years - already back on the 70s. It is like being at home. Staff extremely helpful. Great pool a hotel.beach. beach. My grandson says there is no.other place like this. He has been coming since he was born 10 years ago. It is like going home. So.many guests are like us. They come back year after year. We have made some great friends.

My wife and I had the most dreamy wedding here in late May. The service, ambiance, and food all exceeded our expectations. The bartenders, servers, cleaning crew, chef, and management team are all superb. Everyone was very pleased with their rooms, especially our room in the villa with a nice ocean facing balcony which was just amazing. We'll be back! Special thanks to Guia and Matteo!

I absolutely adore this place and look forward to going every year. Its charming location, friendly service and gorgeous views are enchanting. Villa Ottone and the crystal clear water of Elba gets me back here every year and is a special yearly family tradition.
