We stayed for two nights at the end of May 2018. This was our second visit and once again we were more than happy. The rooms are fine (although some of the furniture could do with updating) and very reasonably priced. What really makes the hotel is its setting in mature grounds (with fine pool) and dining alfresco. Dinner in the old courtyard is an experience to be savoured. On both evenings (it was early in the season) we were the sole diners; it was like having our own private villa. The food is excellent and the service faultless and unobtrusive.

Brilliant, friendly staff. Nice restaurant and the most incredibly generous breakfast all at an incredibly reasonable price. However, the rooms are dated and not 4 star quality. The setting around the hotel is lovely and is well placed for trips to the valley of the temples. Sciacca town, however, is not attractive with large estates of blocks of flats. Fortunately the hotel is in countryside surrounded by orange groves and peaceful. If you do stay, use goggle maps to find as TomTom had no clue where the hotel was.

Renovated farm house oozing with character. Staff extremely helpful, especially Paulo when we had difficulty opening our safe and working out how to turn the toilet flush off! Unfortunately our fridge wasn't cold and the air con was poor but this is my only complaint. The pool area is excellent with really comfy beds and pool towels provided. We ate in the restaurant both nights of our stay and would highly recommend it. Hotel is well placed to visit Seluenti which is a must.

This hotel stands in a beautiful garden and when we went in June, the lilac jacaranda trees were in flower by the pool. The rooms are charming with pretty painted ceilings. We ate in both nights, the dinner the first night was better and the almond parfait was delicious. The second night the dinner was less memorable but the opportunity to sit in a lovely courtyard with large stone walls made up for it. A great place to stay to visit Selinunte which has an almost complete Greek temple with fabulous views of the sea

Excellent service, as we were the only ones here. A very traditional hotel, old fashioned for anyone wanting anything trendy. We visited Agrigento the day before and this hotel was on the way, to our next destination. We did not use it, but the pool looks very inviting The shower is powerful and the hand basin pretty. A strange mix of mismatched lights spoilt the overall look of the bedroom. We ate here last night and enjoyed a simple meal.

We stayed 3 nights in April.||||From the outside it looks lovely - neat, laid out gardens and courtyards, pool, paths, car park.||Inside we were warmly greeted and escorted to our room. ||NOTE: there are a lot of steps to the room (28?) outside the building . There is no lift and no disabled access. Heavy suitcases can be a problem.||||The twin room was a shock. It was very small. So small that the wardrobe door couldn't open fully because it hit the bed. So small that we couldn't pass each other without squeezing aside. There was no chair or hook to put clothes on at bedtime. The decrepit old wardrobe had hangers on a rail so high you needed a stool to reach. The lamp fixing fell off the wall when touched - exposing the cables. The mattresses were covered in rubber sheets - causing you to sweat at night. There was a huge religious painting on the wall (not an old Master) which was very depressing. The shower in the bathroom did not have a non-slip mat nor an alarm cord call system. People using the bathroom in the next door room could be clearly heard in our bedroom. Not nice.||It's pointless continuing with this catalogue of deficiencies - but we were not alone in our disappointment - our friends in the room opposite had exactly the same experience!||The breakfast was not good - lots of sweet buns and cakes, no proper bread, only the commercial soft stuff, no variety or anything cooked. There was, however a wonderful orange juicer to squeeze the oranges from the grove outside.||We did not use the restaurant.||||Finally, the the hotel is in a remote place in a dull landscape. Expect to drive for 15 minutes to reach any kind of shop.||||Clearly the hotel's main business is hosting events in the nice grounds making use of the car park and the pool and BBQ areas - and this might well be a 4 star activity. But it should not be given 4 stars for the accommodation - and it is misleading to do so.||||Finally - the staff were 4 star. They were understanding, helpful, courteous and were eager to please us. We have no complaints about them.

This is a real find for those who seek hotels with character and a sense of tradition. Two miles and easily accessible from Sciacca, the hotel is a sensitively restored Baroque villa with many original features (the perfect antidote to modern plastic hotels) and lovely well-maintained mature grounds. Dinner ( we ate outside in the courtyard) was faultless and very reasonably priced. Excellent very helpful staff (especially the proprietor/manager for whom nothing was too much trouble). We wished we could have stayed longer and we will certainly return in the future.

Alter driving a long way we were looking forward to arriving there to relax by the pool....when we arrived the staff was busy preparing an event, the whole area was dedicated to it , it was impossible to reach the pool and they suggested we could have dinner in front of the entrance door as all the gardens were dedicated to the huge party! |When we asked about a possible very noisy night for us they didn’t care. |Still we agreed to see the bedroom... it’s a scam! Very small, difficult for two people to be in there at the same time, no air conditioning. Old and not well kept, all in all very depressing, and very expensive as they charge you 100 euros a night!!|Even if we were tired and it was almost 8 we decided to leave and try to find another place. |Don’t go there
