The rooms are small, dark, not clean (obviously used, dirty towels, never wiped the floors). We asked for a Double room with Shared bed/ one big bed, they told us it doesn‘t exist. The bathroom has no windows only holes in the wall so it’s extremly windy inside the bathroom. And wifi is only usable at the reception.

The staff is gentle and curtious, food is exquisite, and the view impeccable. For the price, you can't expect a 5-star room, but you're really there to enjoy the private beach, not be locked up in a room. The bed could've been comfier and the pillows could've been cleaner. Great experience; would come back for more!

A very beautiful place to stay, right by the lake, you're able to walk on the shoreline, swim in the lake, they have a decent sized pool, rooms were nice, air-conditioning and ceiling fans in some. The restaurant has accommodations for big groups, and the food and service was great. The restrooms are clean. However you will get charged for taking the towels out of the room. Nonetheless, it's a beautiful place to stay at. You're able to see both volcanoes while by the shoreline.

This place is absolutely amazing. I cannot express enough how nice it is. We transferred from El Pital due to their lack of service and came here not knowing how it would be, but soon found out it's absolutely wonderful. The employees are really just nice and hospitable. They really just care about you. The pool is super nice and you walk a few steps onto a beautiful beach. The rooms are cozy, perfect view, great AC, and more. We signed up to hike the volcanoes and they made us lunch bags for it and made us breakfast bright and early (which was delicious). If this place is an option for you, just book it and you will see what I mean. Thank you to all the staff from us from the USA.

From the moment we arrived we felt at home, this lovely little hotel is situated right on the shore of Lake Nicaragua where birds wade in the water, horses are ridden along the shoreline and kitesurfers show their skills further along the beach.||The wooden cabins are lovely and homely each with a verandah where you can sit and down a rum and Coke in the evening. We had a double and a single bed in our two person cabin and a long bathroom.||No hairdryer provided and there was a deposit of 20$ required to use the safetly deposit box.||Wifi was good througout the whole site including the room.||The restaurant overlooks the lake and is outside, it is lovely in the evening to sit and eat and drink in the atmosphere. Drinks were reasonably priced for a hotel also.||Breakfast was a limited choice from a menu and served - it included eggs, granola, fruit, pancakes/coffee/tea - 1 glass of juice. Be prepared for a visit from the White Throated Magpie Jays hoping to share it with you!||The swimming pool is lovely and overlooks the beach, we spent a few peaceful hours there one day.||Drinking water refils were available from reception, free of charge.||Money was exchanged in the reception area. They do take credit cards.||English was not widely spoken, but we got through and fortunately within our group had a few Spanish speakers, so be ready for some sign language if you don't speak local.||Staff were friendly and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay here and would love to return some time in the future, just a pity we live so far away!

My review is about the restaurant, not the hotel. The personnel available was extremely helpful and nice. They are the biggest highlight, they deserve all the praise possible. I loved they did not mistreat any stray animals on site. Unfortunately, here's where I need to complain about the freshness of the food. My father ordered an entry dish of fried beans, tostones (fries plantian) and fries cheese. The beans tasted a bit off. The tostones and fish were fried in recycled old oil giving the food a weird after taste. The quality did not match the price. Way overpriced for what we received in return.
