Stayed here with my family over Christmas and had the best experience. Everything was lovely from the staff, the facilities to the rooms. The spa facilities were great, the hotel is dog friendly, the garage had charging facilities for electric cars (note these were very slow but free). The hotel is situated just a short walk from the town/all the shops, so extremely convenient. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Puigcerda

This is a lovely hotel right by the lake. Their restaurant is excellent. Their service is too. They even came to meet us at the car park because I asked for an accessible room. Getting around the property on a walker, however, is challenging. Accessibility is decontamination an afterthought when it comes to the grounds and being to the restaurant.

We stopped here for an overnight stopover. I booked through booking.com with a good price but it ended up quite expensive. We had a little dog so I was searching hotels pet friendly and this one was, but we were charged 35€ for our dog, 20€ for parking and 15€ each person to use the pool and spa for only one hour. We had dinner in the restaurant which was only a set menu for the summer so we were disappointed overall. The room was very clean and the staff very friendly and it was a lovely location next to the lake. I didn’t have breakfast but found a lovely coffee shop 3 minutes walk away.

Beautiful hotel situated on the edge of the town. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Spotlessly clean throughout. Very warm welcome and top class service from beginning to end. Restaurant was not open for dinner - but breakfast was superb. Highly recommended.

Nestled high in the mountains, this classic hotel offers a unique, secluded experience. The rooms provide comfortable, uncluttered accommodations. Incredible views of the surroundings. It is not soundproof; if you have a call in the night, your neighbor may hear you. Dining options around the hotel may be limited depending on the season, so advanced planning is recommended. Communication might require some creativity, as multilingual staff may not always be available.

The lake by the hotel is very pretty as is the property itself is lovely. Most of the rooms however don't really overlook the lake, they face the street. It's a nice hotel but quite expensive for what it is, the restaurant is only open at certain times, there is no bar area or anywhere to have a drink if you wish to. You can't have a cafe or tea anywhere unless you pay 18 euros for breakfast. We had a little dog and I knew we would be charged, it was about 35 euros per night which really adds up so just something to keep in mind if you have a dog. Is ok in general clean and pretty just a bit overpriced for what it is.

We stayed in one of the rooms in the old building. Great view over lake and the room was exceptionally comfortable. The bedding was cool and crisp. The bathroom had a lovely roll top bath and a high tech shower. The room is an unusual shape, reflecting the design of the building, so we had lots of windows. Unfortunately it was a Sunday so the restaurant was closed but the breakfast was excellent, with a very good range of produce. It is just a short walk across a very nice garden. The staff were very welcoming. There is a large secure underground car park (€20 per night).

A really lovely hotel with beautiful rooms which overlook the lake. Spacious and very large bed. Worth paying for the rooms on the 1st floor. Very accommodating and they assisted us with a few extra requests. Lovely spa which we used too. Big bathrooms with a big bath.

Let me tell you a little story about this awful place. We came here expecting to have a good time, what a mistake. Service was very slow and on top of that they forgot things. Food quality wasn't so good on top of that. When the bill came we complained about the price of a single plate of caneloni for the kids, 19 EUROS!!!! This was for an awful plate of caneloni, not even the kids liked it. Guess what the waiter did? He got defensive and pushy AND he asked us to leave!!! That's when things got a little heated up because I wouldn't take this kind of treatment. We filed an official complaint form and of course no apologies! The WORST experience we've ever come across EVER! NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!!!
