This is a small, unpretentious hotel in a convenient location close to the sea, the Alsace-Lorraine tram stop, Nice-Ville railway station, the Musée des Beaux-Arts and within easy reach of old Nice, on foot or by bus. Reception staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. We liked our room (6). It overlooked the road, but was quiet and comfortable. The shower-room was small but perfectly convenient. We had booked into breakfast, which was delicious. There wasn’t the choice you might get in one of the larger chain hotels, but then there weren’t the crowds of people either - o more than satisfactory quid pro quo. If felt like a private, family-run hotel and it felt French, rather than international - it suited us very well and we would definitely choose it again.
