Hôtel Villa Rose

Villa Rose is a wonderful place to stay! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes you feel at home right away. The interior is stylish and comfortable, and the breakfast is simply awesome – generous, fresh, and a great way to start the day. Considering the quality of the experience, it’s also excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

A beautiful, lovingly furnished small hotel in a central yet quiet location in Nice with a wonderful garden where breakfast is served with delicious treats. We received a very warm welcome from the hotel owners and felt completely at ease. Parking spaces for cars and storage facilities for bicycles are also available. Lovely villa on the edge of Nice. A short tram ride or walk of around 1.3 miles into town. Despite being in a city centre, the hotel was nicely quiet at night. The room was spacious albeit bathroom v small but we had everything we needed and the bed was really comfy. The hosts were warm and welcoming, allowing us access to the bedroom when we arrived early and then looked after our bags on our last day. The front garden is as charming as the photos, a lovely oasis from the hustle and bustle of Nice plus we got to taste the gorgeous oranges direct from the tree.

Very well located for a city hotel - close enough to the centre to walk everywhere, or catch the frequent trams: but we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was at night. Very little "city" noise reached us. Trams, buses and trains are all very easily accessed (but beware of last train time at night). We very much enjoyed our stay, and we found the hosts to be very helpful and communicative (despite my very weak French skills!) Garden is a bonus.

This so called hotel villa Rosa was absolutely vile. The room was dirty, the sheets looked like they hadn’t been washed in weeks, and worst of all, the bed was crawling with bedbugs. I was bitten all night and couldn’t sleep a single hour. This place should be shut down for health violations. It’s not just uncomfortable — it’s unsafe. I regret ever booking here, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.

This place is a total disgrace. The room was filthy beyond belief, and to top it off, it was infested with bedbugs. I left covered in bites and disgusted that I even set foot inside. This isn’t just bad management it’s pure neglect. No traveler deserves to go through this kind of nightmare. Honestly, it felt more like a health hazard than a hotel.

This was the most revolting place I’ve ever stayed. The room smelled, the sheets were filthy, and worst of all bedbugs everywhere. I couldn’t even put my luggage down without worrying it would get infested.

We loved our stay at the Hotel Villa Rose. It is outside the busy rush of central Nice, but still so easy to get into the centre on the tram, which is a 5-minute walk away. We were surprised with a free upgrade to our room, and our every whim was catered to. ||Breakfast - local Viennoisserie and breads, was delicious, and the bed was very comfy, as were the towels. ||Son was an amazing and hard-working host, and gave us the best recommendations of where to visit and where to eat. ||If you are looking for a relaxing, comfortable and cosy place to stay, which isn’t in the middle of the tourist melee, we would highly recommend Hotel Villa Rose!
