We stayed at this hotel for our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding. It was a beautiful experience. The wedding was coordinated by Mariangela. What a beautiful human! ||The food at the ceremony was outstanding, the service was warm and genuinely thoughtful, and the setting couldn’t have been more beautiful. The view provided a stunning backdrop—but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the incredible team, led by Mariangela. The staff at Villa Schuller are not only consummate professionals, their eye for detail and heartfelt attentiveness made every moment feel special.||We will be forever grateful!

Myself and family all had a wonderful time at Villa Schuler, we stayed for one week and had our wedding day there, we honestly couldn’t of picked a better choice for our day, we were made to feel so special and it was so perfect! |The venue is pretty in pink, that stands so close to the centre of Taormina town, ideal location for us, so much choice of restaurants and bars on the doorstep. |Our wedding ceremony and reception, as there was 20 of us, we chose The Palm Terrace which is located at the front of the hotel that looks out to sea, absolute stunning location, beautiful garden around the back of the hotel. |All the rooms were beautiful, the breakfast was delicious, a great choice to choose from each morning and the staff were all extremely friendly, very kind and helpful … |We felt part of the family there! |We would love to go back. |Thank you so much Villa Schuler 🫶🏼

First time visit to Sicily. Beautiful hotel in an excellent central location. Really friendly staff. Taxi transfer efficient with a courteous driver.|Gardens were pretty and nice to sit in on a hot day. |Breakfast on the terrace was lovely with stunning views of Etna and the bay, although beware as we were plagued by wasps!|We were in one of the smaller rooms which was okay. It was clean and quiet but as we have found in other parts of Italy, the decor was dated and our fridge didn't work (which I forgot to mention to reception as I'm sure they would have repaired for us). |It would have been nice to have somewhere to sit in the evening as the bar was very tiny in the reception area but we found a lovely bar near Q lounge bar), so were happy to go there instead.|We booked a boat trip through the hotel which was excellent value at 200 euros for a private 2 hour trip with Prosecco and fruit! |Would definitely come back to this lovely hotel as the customer service and location made it special.

A gem of a hotel in Taormina! We stayed for 2 nights in the Sea View room, and everything about the hotel - the aesthetic, decor, staff, and service - was top quality. Can’t wait to be back. We unfortunately opted out of the breakfast, but if we were to do it again, I’d definitely include it. We caught a glimpse of the breakfast setup from our balcony, and it looked absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this hotel - great value, beautiful ambience, and a wonderful overall experience.

Obsessed with this place. One of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s a really beautiful hotel and the rooms are increible. The garden out back is so nice to relax in and wander around, plus it gives you easy access to the main walking strip in Taormina. The view of the water and mountains on the patio are stunning. They have partner shuttles that will take you to and from teh beach, but you have to pay for them. Not a bad service. You can also take the cable car and it will get you down to the beach and you can explore on your own. I’d recommend that just because you won’t be at the mercy/timing of the shuttles, which are a little restrictive. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as relaxing and worry free as possible. They even offered us a shower and lounge space after we checked out on our last day because we were taking an overnight train back to Rome. Highly recommend staying here.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Villa Schuler for one week to celebrate our 50th anniversary. The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning, and the historical hotel was meticulously maintained. The biggest asset of the hotel, though is the outstanding staff. I have to especially thank Simona, as she somehow arranged an amazing visit to my husbands ancestral town. We are so grateful for all she did; it was above and beyond anything we could have imagined for the day. We will never forget our stay at Villa Schuler and the kindness of Simone and the entire staff. I highly recommend this hotel-it will exceed your expectations!

This hotel has a very unassuming elegance and the staff is super helpful and friendly. We were delighted with our one week stay, and felt very happily surprised by the affordability and wonderful location. The views from our Sea view room were so beautiful, and everyone at the front desk was super helpful in creating plans for each day to make our visit to Taormina a complete success.

Everything about our stay at Hotel Villa Schuler in Taormina was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The hotel is full of charm and elegance, with a view and atmosphere that make it impossible not to fall in love. Our room was spotless, bright, and beautifully decorated, offering every comfort we could wish for. The attention to detail in both cleanliness and maintenance was truly impressive. And the breakfast! The à la carte breakfast was simply outstanding – fresh ingredients, beautifully prepared, and served with care and a smile. You can really tell they put their heart into both the food and the experience. We will definitely be back! This place exceeded all expectations and is highly recommended to anyone visiting Taormina. A true little oasis – Hotel Villa Schuler deserves top marks on every level

Yelp
Beautiful historic hotel; fancy atmosphere, well kept. We stopped by for a full breakfast at 8am because nowhere local had food yet. Terrace seating with amazing view of water; waitstaff were phenomenal with 5 star service. Full breakfast was 20 euros each but was essentially all you can eat from the menu. Would definitely come back and consider staying at hotel in future.

Yelp
Very nice hotel in the center of Taormina! The view from the rooms is breathtaking and the a la carte breakfast is really good. On the negative side the hotel has a very limited number of parking slots. Better to book them well in advance. In alternative there is a quite close private parking but expensive.

Yelp
This luxury hotel in Taormina is centrally located for restaurants and shops since it is perched on one of Taormina's many hills. The view from hotel and its two terraces are breathtaking and unencumbered. We booked an ocean view suite (very reasonable price too) and had and our own spacious terrace and a small solarium room, both of which faced the sea. The main room had ample closet and drawers to unpack. The bathroom had a strong, modern shower and plenty of room to place toiletries. Best of all was that every single inch was spotless and flawlessly maintained. For me a good 5 star hotel is in the service and the details. The staff shows they are happy to have you as their guests. Our room upon arrival was stocked with: a full bottle of wine, a large box of Sicilian cookies, 4 pieces of fresh fruit and a large bottle of water all with a welcome note. Tasteful touches such as fine towels and linens are abundant. There is no dinner type restaurant but a full breakfast is served on the huge, breathtaking ocean terrace. This breakfast is from an a la carte menu not a minimal buffet. Amazing breads, cheeses, eggs to order, meats, yoghurts, cereal and all types of coffee. There is a glass elevator which takes you to a common 4th floor lounge and outside are flowers gardens with turtle and fish ponds to enjoy a quiet afternoon. A rear stone stairwell from the hotel grounds is a shortcut to the busy Main Street for countless shops and eateries. I especially want to commend every single staff member we had contact with--they were all outstanding. One warning note only if you are driving: Sicily is not fond of road signage and though the hotel is on a main one way road, the right turn onto Via Roma looks like an ally not a road as you approach the town's busy tourist street. We had a paper map, live GPS and hotel instructions and still had to drive around several times before we saw the turn. Valet parking for a fee is well worth it.
