We totally love this charming , romantic boutique hotel and definately will stay there again.So much beauty everywhere!! Fabulous location !! Our small room at the attic with wonderful panorama over front garden and Dresden was very cosy and comfortable and had an awesome modern bathroom.Breakfast is exceptional , a piece of culinary poetry and the staff is super polite and helpful.Just one night but very memorable experience.Thank you 🙏❤

The moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt like I had entered another world. Every corner, adorned with stunning architecture and vintage details, seemed to be lost in time. The warm, intimate atmosphere spread a sense of tranquility that touched my soul. No matter how tired I was, I was captivated by the magic of this place. But there was one issue... I had made a reservation mistake when I arrived at the hotel. It was my fault. However, the team was so kind and helpful that they found an immediate solution. This showed me just how powerful sincerity and helpfulness can be. The warm smiles on everyone’s faces and Christin’s wonderful attitude made this hotel something entirely different. My time was limited, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that I wished I could stay longer. The peace I found in the attic room was indescribable. When I looked out the window, I felt like I was in the middle of a fairytale. Far from the city, there was only the serenity of nature. The vintage touches in the room transported me to past times. It even reminded me of Anne from the show Anne with an E. After breakfast, strolling through the garden was a unique experience. Surrounded by the colors of autumn, this area felt like a dream. With every step, watching the dance of nature was the essence of peace. The flavors I tasted in the restaurant were like a door opening to another world. A vegetarian breakfast not only satisfied my taste buds but nourished my soul as well. But then, I couldn’t help but realize how quickly time had passed, and when it was time to leave, I found myself in a very emotional moment. As I said goodbye to the hotel, my eyes filled with tears. Because this wasn’t just a hotel; I had become a part of it. It was a place that nourished my soul, transported me to another world, and carried a new story in every corner. As I left, I knew that the traces of that warm atmosphere would stay with me for a long time. Thank you for everything. I will return one day.

Villa Sorgenfrei is really not primarily a hotel. It's a restaurant - the Atelier Sanssouci - which I have reviewed with top notch points separately.||This is the kind of place where the food is in focus: the restaurant is the main attraction and the possibility to enjoy an evening of finest food and wine. And then turn in in an attached room...|So, the hotel rooms and standard are high and quite sufficient for anyone wanting to enjoy the table of the Atelier.|I would rate the hotel/room standard as something four-starish.||The environment on the whole is lovely. Beautiful, rustique, intimate.|Lovely staff - very correct and kind.||Highly recommended - but do base your decision on the fact that you want to enjoy really, really fine dining at Atelier Sanssouci. If you at dinner then had a glass of wine or two, you can't drive back to Dresden. You simply have to stay overnight at Sorgenfrei. And in the morning have a lovely breakfast served at your table - with all you could possibly want when you rise.||You will not be disappointed. Great experience!

I usually don't complain too much but I find it a bit strange that they start renovating the hallway IN FRONT of my door around 8 o'clock in the morning, with a radio on and work noises. I can understand that maintenance and work has to be done, but it's a hotel, so maybe another time or with a warning maybe? I then wouldn't have bothered that much and go to sleep a bit earlier. Nevertheless, for the rest everything was OK, and I was suppressed with free coffee to-go in the morning at the entrance. It's also great that there is a grocery store next door, ideal for a functional stay.

Where do i begin?! We celebrated our wedding here this past summer and the staff at the Villa made the entire experience so memorable and special. The Villa is stunning. It has that rustic charm and every corner of the Villa is more beautiful than the next. It was perfect for capturing some of our wedding photos. We stayed in the Garden Suite and it was so charming and very spacious. From the moment we arrived to leaving it was such a peaceful atmosphere and all of the staff were so helpful, cheerful and a pleasure to be around. We appreciate the attention to detail from the flower arrangement on the table to the food and our wedding cake! Thank you so much for everything and we cannot wait to come back as a tradition to celebrate our anniversaries here in the future. I highly recommend the Villa for a beautiful and memorable setting for an intimate wedding.

Awesome location in Radebeul, the suburb of Dresden. The real “villa” as you could imagine it and really nice environment. Parking is onsite and free of charge, however there are some dozens of meters from the parking to the entrance door and so you will have to carry your luggage. ||Staid here in the end of December, room was located in the attic with two steep stairs and no elevator, I would not recommend for disabled or elderly people. Room was enough clean but merely small due to the mansard ceiling, surely not enough light in the room. Sleeping quality was good, however the bathroom is small a bit dated as well as towels need to be changed. ||Wifi connection was stable and speed was acceptable. Staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is a la carte, nice alternative to standard buffet breakfasts common all over. ||Price value is a little bit high but if you would like to find something special this place is the right choice, eventually I recommend this hotel.

Very nice small hotel in authentic looking villa. Expect no high tech or design. The rooms and beds are good and have a great charm. The bathroom could use an upgrade. One point to consider is the hotels restaurant has a Michelin star. Great of course, but when staying longer or for business that might put your budget under pressure (menu starting from 79 to over 100 euro). There is a lounge but no bar to mingle in the evening. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would love to come back.
