The hotel, was located, almost on the beach. and the service from the always smiling staff was very good . Good food in the restaurant, and nice drinks in the bar. Only one big minus: The last 3 days of our stay, they started to renovate half the hotel, and the noise and dust was terrible, and we couldnt stay in the room in the daytime, and we was not warned. Well we get a drink voucher, and they moved us to another room, and called it a upgrade, it was even more dirty and more noisy. We will highly recommend the hotel. (without renovating)

The quality for the price was phenomenal. It was just so beautiful. The room had wonderful ac. They had a large closet to put everything in, they had cubbies in the bathroom to put stuff, and they gave you a large bottle of water with your room changes. Everyone was lovely sweet and nice. They had the lounge chis with the umbrellas for your use on the beach and there was no charge. The bar was great price is phenomenal. They had a happy hour every day. The restaurant was great redone very pretty. The food was great. I just can't say enough.I will be staying there next time!

Beautiful hotel in an even more beautiful place. Cabarete is a lovely place with lovely people with amazing wind 💨 and waves 🌊 The day starts with a delicious breakfast 🍳 buffet sitting under a lovely sea grape tree flanked by coconut 🌴 palms on all sides and serenaded by all kinds of beautiful birds. Then you get your wind gear ready, get in the turquoise water and bee line to the waves for amazing rides for as long as your body will allow you. The toughest part is to get back out of the water and save energy for the sunset session which is the highlight of the day. Wow. Next day, repeat. And plan the return trip…

This is my go to place in Cabarete. Rooms are very nice and great value for money. You cannot beat the location in the heart of all the activity being within a small walking (on the beach) distance but with no issues with noise. Great breakfast and friendly but professional staff. I will return ... again

I stayed at Villa Taina for 4 days and had a fantastic experience. My room was on the first floor right in front of the pool, and the beach was absolutely beautiful. The staff were super friendly and always made sure we were having a good time. Great location, amazing service, — I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!

Room was very nice, but housekeeping ignored our Do Not Disturb sign. The beach area was also beautiful. The hotel gave us 1st floor as requested and we are thankful for that. Unfortunately the restaurant left a lot to be desired. Breakfast buffet and Mongolian buffet were very good, as was the fried fish. However, the rest of the food was barely edible and service was beyond slow. As an example, the Reuben, which is suppose to be pastrami, sauerkraut, Russian dressing, and swiss cheese on rye was not even recognizeable. It was rye bread, but definitely not pastrami, not sure of the cheese or dressing and I swear it was coleslaw, not sauerkraut.

Rooms are clean and basic, but thats not why you come to Cabarete. The hotel has close proximity to great restaurants, surf schools, shops and is right on the beach. The hotel vibe is spot on, relaxed, beach vibes but with professional service. The pool is quiet, the wifi is fast. I worked remotely whilst SO kitesurfed and we had everything we needed. We opted for basic room without meals because we aren't big breakfast eaters and prefer to explore local eareries, but had the Monday Dominican buffet here and it was great. Happy hour is great! I would actually come back here.

There are rooms that are "standards" and those rooms face the street. Since they do not have much to offer. THey have you pay for it in advance. Once you are there, you are stuck. You cannot get your refund, even if you leave. Even if when you come in, you do not accept the room. The only rooms with a decent beach view are in the fourth floor (no elevators). Their gym is awful. There are no threadmills, the two bikes are old. It is extremely small and there are no window EYE LEVEL. It is extremely small and behind the bar. Breakfast is not included. You gotta pay extra for that. And they advertise parking but they do not have parking space in the hotel. It is on the strip. They advertised pilates and yoga but they do not offer it. IT IS NOT A RESORT
