My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, we encountered people near the entrance openly using drugs, and the receptionist was smoking, filling the lobby with a horrible smell. When we checked the rooms, they were filthy and far below expected standards—certainly not what one would expect from a hotel. The staff's behavior was also unprofessional and unwelcoming. Feeling highly uncomfortable and unwelcome, we decided to leave immediately. This is not a place I would recommend, and I hope management takes steps to improve both cleanliness and atmosphere for future guests

Tough area, but cosy, comfy, quaint hotel. A bit worn, but clean. Lovely bed (could have done without the mirror, though 😂). Friendly staff and good breakfast.|Be prepared for "lively" surroundings and remember ear plugs, as the noise from the locals in the street can be quite intense.

Budget friendly hotel very close to the mainstation. The staff were super friendly. Asked if it whas possible to rent a refidgerator. This was absolutely no problem, and I wasn't charged anything. The room where fine regarding the price payed. Only minus was the lack of an elevator, so if you have bad knees, or in any other way cant walk in stairs you should consider another hotel. The breakfast buffet costed 7,5 eur and was very fine.

We had a great and memorable stay in the honeymoon suite. Breakfast was excellent as well as the friendly helpful service. The recommendations we got from the front desk for a dinner restaurant resulted in having a fabulous German meal nearby.

A little gem of a hotel. Warm, friendly and interested staff. Cosy, funny rooms. And great value for money. The perfect hotel for a couple on a romantic getaway. We had two great nights in this little hotel in the center of Hamburg. We had one of the top floor rooms with a balcony. A fun and kitschy room - though as the toilet doesn’t allow for much privacy, perhaps not the best room for a first date... The hotel’s interior design is wonderfully camp and eclectic. It’s an old charming building with a lot of stairs and no elevator. So if you got a bad hip, you should probably request a room on the lower floors. The breakfast buffet has everything you could wish for, including boiled eggs cooked to order. The staff is helpful and will gladly advice you on which sites in beautiful Hamburg you absolutely must visit.

I booked this place last minute as I was traveling by train from Amsterdam to Copenhagen. I arrived about 6pm and the man at the desk was so friendly. I originally booked a small room with shared bathroom but he said when I got here that they had two spare double suites and I could upgrade to one for only 15 euro, so I did. And boy, was that the best money I ever spent. Such a beautiful room, so quirky and fun. My Instagram loved it. If you want a cute place to stay that is clean, close to the station and very easy on the eye, stay here :)

We chose the hotel for the location and the price and we got more than we bargained for.||When walking in we were really amazed of the interiour of the hotel. It was like walking into an old style luxury brothel. Quite quirky!||But once your are used to it it is an amazing place. Especially with the friendlyness of the staff and management. Nothing is too much to make you feel at home. ||We will definately stay here again but then we’ll reserve the bridal suite instead.||Not quite fond of having the toilet and shower in the room with the regular rooms.

I booked a "Joint Room" ("Gemeinschaftsraum"). That means I had my own room with a washbin. (3rd floor, old building, no elevator.) The room was very old, the walls were thin. The TV did hardly work, as did the WiFi. ||||On the hallway was a (clean) toilet room which I shared with three (?) other guests. In another, extremely small room was a shower. The room was actually so small that I had to step into the shower to undress.||||That would all be okay for a 30-40 € budget, but not for a night that costs 80 €. (I booked at least 6 weeks in advance, but I assume that certain events in Hamburg rose the prices dramatically everywhere.)||||The hotel is 2 minutes away from the main train station. The area is noisy and crowded, and some people seem kind of strange, but I always felt safe. It's of course also a good starting point for getting around quickly. ||||The people at the desk of the hotel were kind, friendly and helpful. Nevertheless, the price totally spoilt it for me.||||Please note: I speak only of the Joint Rooms.

Yelp
HORRIBLE experience. First of all, you should know that this hotel is in the hood. It is behind the train station, which we come to learn, means it's the drug and prostitution area of town. In less than 24 hours, we saw numerous people on the street strung out on drugs, someone smoking a crack pipe, and a drug deal taking place. It is disasterously messy, with trash everywhere after a night of partying. We heard people partying until 4AM!!!! Could not sleep because of all of what was going on, INCLUDING a baby crying outside until 4am!!! The hotel itself - service was horrible. It was like we were an inconvenience any time we asking a question. We were on the 6th floor, and there are NO ELEVATORS. We had seven pieces of luggage and had to climb 88 stairs multiple times. It was terrible. The rooms had very strange, dark energy. It also felt dirty and gross. The decor is tacky, and there is mold on the walls in the bathroom. Between the area and hotel, I have PTSD when it comes to Hamburg, and have no desire to ever return to the city, let alone the hotel. THUMBS DOWN ALL THE WAY

Yelp
A pretty good hotel that is located right by the Hauptbahnhof. It was an old brothel and they do not shy away from that fact, they embrace it. Everything is tackily decorated (but in a good way) to show off what this place used to be. Some of the rooms have mirrors on the ceilings and gaudy wallpaper. I stayed in a single room that used a shared bathroom and shower. The room itself was quite basic but it was fine for a few nights. The bed even had a built in old fashion radio that still worked! Upon checking in, I was offer a room in the front or back of the hotel, I picked the back and had absolutely no issue with noise. That may have been an issue if I picked a front facing room judging by all the people that congregate in the area. Breakfast was very good and an amazing selection of things to eat at such a small place. They even had a basket full of different vitamins there to use if you wanted. From this hotel you can walk to many things but there is also the train, S bahn, U bahn, and buses close by. Really it should not be hard to get to anywhere staying at this hotel. The WiFi worked well the whole time I was there and had no issues at all.

Yelp
On service one should attach no importance here, if one wants to sleep there. But the self-willed atmosphere of a former brothel in really good, centraler situation gives the excursion to in-turn here again and again gladly. If one take a look around in the rooms, one is in the middle of the Irma La Douce Picture, natural with the correct fantasy.
