Hotel Vilnia (Vilnius, Lithuania) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Set in a magnificent 19th-century building with a commanding turret overlooking the Bernardine Garden, Hotel Vilnia musters all the regal grandeur of Vilnius’s glory years gone by. The lobby and attached lounge speak to contemporary renovations in the public spaces — clever lighting and wall treatments place interiors firmly in the present day. Bright, airy rooms maintain a hint of history in carefully preserved parquet flooring and quirky roofing, though the tech is satisfyingly up to date where it counts." - Tablet Hotels

Great location, everything was walkable. They had parking (separate cost but very close and safe location). Staff were friendly, room was clean and plenty of room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast was probably the best out of the 4 that I stayed (Tallinn, Riga and Helsinki). It wasn't the greatest, but really good.

Hands down our favorite hotel in Vilnius. The staff was exceptionally helpful, friendly, and caring. The hotel itself is beautiful, cozy, and impeccably clean. A perfect place for those seeking quality, relaxation, and privacy. On top of that, it’s located in a stunning area – our windows opened up to a view of the Hill of Three Crosses, and we stayed right in the heart of the Old Town. Next time we’re in Vilnius, we’ll definitely return here without even considering other options. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for the outstanding service, care, and genuine hospitality.

This hotel had a great location. Beds were fine and it was nice that the AC worked well. Housekeeping were nice and great although it was annoying it only happened upon request. Including the 15 euro breakfast per day in our booking wasn’t really worth it. There wasn’t much at the breakfast that appetized us. The hotel front desk staff were cold and disinterested and need more training for hospitality while working in tourism.

Really pleased with our choice - great location, superb reception service, comfortable room, lifts to all floors, good wifi and a fitting end to our Baltic Countries travel. Taxis can drive right up to the door so airport transfers are really easy. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This "luxury" hotel is on a noisy road. We had a room overlooking the internal courtyard, still noisy but better. I would say this is 3 stars at best. Rooms and bathrooms are small, could not get a feather pillow. We put the sign outside for cleaning and our duvet was just moved back into position, the bottom sheet had not been touched. No more tea bags or milk. Breakfast is in a basement, the tables are bare so you have to do everything yourself| Ok buffet but coffee is not great and orange juice is thin orange squash.|Reception/entrance are small and cramped, no comfortable lounge. A total disappointment

The hotel was okay. The price was totally reasonable, but I wasn’t impressed. The room was nice and clean, but since it was in the attic and due to the way it’s furnished, my partner and I ended up banging our heads on the ceiling more than a few times. The location is great—a quiet area with lots of parks around, yet still quite central. Things that weren’t great: - The towels were very old - The staff weren’t rude, but they came across as disinterested and disengaged—like they were just tired of being there - The breakfast was awful. Honestly, it felt like something out of post-Soviet Estonia in the '90s. We skipped it on the second morning because it really wasn’t worth waking up early for while on vacation Overall, it didn’t meet my expectations—wasn’t terrible, but definitely not somewhere I’d rush back to.

Stayed here for 4 nights during a city break in March and would definitely stay here again if we return to Vilnius. Room was excellent (Superior Room) with a view to the 3 crosses sand parks. It overlooked a fairly busy road but there was almost no traffic noise. Breakfast was very good with lots to choose from, but more fresh fruit would improve the choice. Very convenient for most city sights and for only a few minutes walk to the trolley bus stop for the bus station and train station. Reception very pleasant and efficient.

Hotel really is three star - obviously very busy time of the year and although reception staff are very friendly they are clearly understaffed. As an example breakfast was so busy that finding a table was difficult and the two waiters were struggling to keep the food replenished. They had no English tea - finished!
