"Along the Tagus River The Tagus River is definitely a must in Lisbon . And there are so many ways to enjoy it. You can ride a bicycle or walk in several parts—in Belém or at Parque das Nações, or under the April 25th Bridge. Join the fishermen and get some fish; sit at Ribeira das Naus, enjoying the view over the bridge and to the other side of the river; maybe rent a sailboat and venture out into the river. Or, if you prefer, go canoeing. Have a drink or a meal next to the river, then take the ferry to the other side and see the city from outside."

This hotel proved to be the best. I spent several nights here, including during the blackout on April 29th, 2025. The hotel was well-prepared and truly went above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction. Besides the best location in Lisbon. The service was excellent from the start – very flexible. Leaving my bags at the front desk or checking in early was no problem at all. I also had a car, and the staff guided me perfectly to a nearby garage for parking. The rooms were very clean, with fresh towels provided daily and great attention to detail – everything was spotless. During the blackout, the hotel had a generator that supplied electricity, allowing guests to charge their phones and even use WiFi (which worked intermittently). This was not the case anywhere else I know of, except possibly in very large institutions or hotels. The entire hotel team actively helped manage the situation, kept guests informed, and continued to serve food and drinks in the restaurant. At a time when nearly all restaurants and shops were closed and the city felt almost apocalyptic, this hotel truly showed its quality. The staff gave 100% to support their guests and maintain a sense of normalcy.

The location of this hotel is literally in the heart of the center of Lisbon, it is walking distance from central main attractions, with lots of small restaurants and coffee shops around. The rooms are clean and nice and the staff are friendly and helpful. If I go to Lisbon again I would definitely stay there again

We stayed in a family room which I had to say was very nice as it's 2 connected rooms so my kids weren's sleeping in a sofa, as usual and they also had their own bathroom. Not cheap but not out of line for a capital city. They are not big but decent size and the design to my taste, was great. Simple but practical while modern. I think we were comfortable because of the joined rooms but probably is not large enough for a long stay in a single room with more than 1 person. Staff was incredibly helpful and polite, I can’t say otherwise, Everybody was efficient and nice all the time. The room was done every time we came back without having to tell them anything when we left (which is something I appreciate as is very uncomfortable to be waiting when you come back for a rest because housekeeping is there or is 4pm and the room is not done). My only complains (which don’t get me wrong, wouldn’t put me off from staying again) is the same those chain hotels have over time. The room was clean on arrival but not sparkling. It seemed like it was super modern and new when they opened but now had that “worn out" feeling. The bathroom tiles and mirrors were damaged. The shower had some hairs, there was dust … I'm not very demanding because I work in the same field but the room is not super cheap and cleaning is a deal breaker for me. Bathroom was cleaned but obviously not very thoroughly. Towel hangers were next to the wc and were not properly fitted so every time we used them, towels were falling down all the time and the one in the shower/bathtub was imposible to reach. There was no wc scrubbing brush (come on, how much can a cheap one cost, bought in bulk and changed every couple of weeks?) Linens and towels seemed in need of a replacement. They were not dirty but didn’t had that feel of a nice hotel towel, they look more like the ones at home when I mix them with the wrong colors and were no soft at all. Linens had that same feeling. Beds were ok but not particulary comfortable. I think it missed the small details that justify a room for that price, things get damaged, they need small reparations overtime or they start to mount. It was good, don’t get me wrong, location was fantastic. But if you cut on small damaged things (even if minimal), stop repairs on small stuff, people notice. Breakfast was lovely and lot’s of options. Location can’t be better. It wasn’t a problem for us but the street is very noisy all night long. I’m not a light sleeper and got woken up to the sound of traffic a couple of times so if you want a more quiet room, I guess an interior one would be best, although I loved the view from the small balcony. As said, staff made up for these things and I really think the concept of the rooms is smart, I would stay again but would love to see a face wash of those small details.

I stayed at the Vincci Baixa for three nights. Our stay coincided with the great power cut in Portugal. The hotel was much better prepared than for example the Pestana CR7 next door: while there was no electricity in the room, the reception did have light and plugs to charge mobile phones, the WiFi was available during a long time and even the bar was open for drinks and some food. Also water continued to be available and the reception was helpful in assisting guests and non-guests. Apart from that rooms are well appointed, the hotel is modern.

Good location for sightseeing in Lisbon with some very nice restaurants a short walk away and near Rua Augusta which has lots of shops, bars and cafes. The room was clean and comfortable. I paid to have the breakfast and this included eggs, bacon, fruits, pastries, cereals and yoghurts. The bar was also nice although a bit pricey.

Worst experience in Europe, the room is very hot and the bed is uncomfortable. I asked the receptionist many times to fix the a/c but they said it is working well. The outside temperature was cooler than the room. The only positive thing is its location and cleanness

The rooms were new, modern and nicely decorated. The breakfast was amazing, lots of variety. The location was amazing at the very center and safe. I had a lovely stay.

The location of the hotel was great…the fact you can’t control your room temperature and we had to open the window if we wanted cool air wasn’t the best option since the hotel is in a busy location and there was a lot of outside noise. Our choices were to leave the window closed and sweat while we slept or open the window and get woken up often due to all of the outside noises.
