I highly recommend this hotel, which is simply stunning and offers top-quality service. The reception staff is extremely friendly and always attentive to our needs. The welcome was excellent, and the overall service truly exceeded my expectations. Upon my arrival, I met Miguel at the reception very professional and friendly, and we immediately had a great connection. He recommended the rooftop breakfast, which turned out to be delicious, varied, and accompanied by an exceptional view. Many thanks as well to the restaurant staff for their warm hospitality. I would also like to thank the housekeeping team: my room was always spotless truly impeccable. They have all my gratitude for their hard work. I will definitely come back to your hotel on my next trip to Barcelona!

My stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. Cleanliness is extremely important to me, and the hotel exceeded all my expectations. The entire property is spotless, and despite being located right in the heart of the city—within easy walking distance to almost everything—it remains perfectly quiet at night, allowing for a peaceful and restful sleep. The breakfast was another highlight. The variety and freshness were outstanding, and everything I could possibly want was available. Enjoying breakfast on the terrace, with its stunning view, made each morning even more special. What truly sets this hotel apart is its staff. Everyone—from the reception team to the housekeeping staff—was genuinely friendly, attentive, and eager to help. On my first day, I mentioned a slight smell in my room, and they immediately arranged a room change without any hesitation. Every request is handled quickly and with a smile, which speaks volumes about the hotel’s excellent management. I am extremely satisfied with my stay and will absolutely choose this hotel again when I return to Barcelona. I stayed here for two nights, it’s soooooo wonderful. Even after left Barcelona still think about the hotel. The reception sister is so sweet and kind, the man is also very nice and kind, like friends, they are so willing to help me. Also room is cleaned so good. From my window can see the street, so beautiful that make my heart feel happy. Love it sooooo much, give me soooooo good memories in Barcelona.

We book ended our cruise that departed and returned to Barcelona with a stay here. Honestly the approach to the hotel in the late evening was somewhat alarming as we seemed to pass thru some distressed urban areas to get there, however it seems that the signs of distress for an uncultured American are just actually typical street scenes in this artistic progressive city. The light of day revealed a vibrant and peaceful neighborhood. |The front desk staff were a bit distracted when we arrived but did get us checked in and on to our room quickly. The room itself was quite large and comfortable with one of the largest hotel bathrooms I've experienced lately. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was a massive no step walk in, the AC cooled the room fairly quickly (in Europe the trick is to leave the spare key in the slot if you want the AC to continue running while you're out of the room - otherwise everything will shut down when you leave), the room was quiet (near the top floor and away from the street) and we had a very relaxing first night. Breakfast both mornings we were there was served at the rooftop lounge and featured a large selection of options and a friendly and engaging staff. Our final day in Barcelona was busy and helpfully aided by front desk staff in arranging our transportation for our party of 5. The taxis in Barcelona can be hit and miss, was nice to have one called for you. The hotel is centrally located about 30 minutes from the airport and maybe 20 minutes from the port. We visited Parc Guell and Casa Batllo to get our Gaudi fix (no time this trip for Sagrada Familia) and both were within 10-15 minute rides from the hotel. There is also a park within walking distance from the hotel that is very nice and pretty popular with local families and plenty of nearby shopping.||Recommend the stay here!

Hotel Vincci Mae Barcelona The hotel is well positioned—about 25–30 minutes’ walk from most main attractions, with excellent public transport connections and plenty of dining options nearby. Rooms are comfortable, though décor is peculiar and shelf space is unusable due to fixed decorative items. The pillow menu is a nice touch, but quality could be improved. Our room had a great view and was quiet from street noise, but being under the restaurant meant we were disturbed by cleaning late at night and early in the morning—avoid room 806. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooftop bar and restaurant are charming with beautiful views. The plunge pool is more decorative than practical, but it adds atmosphere. Overall, a pleasant stay and worth recommending, but I would rate it more as a 3.5–4 star hotel rather than a full 4-star experience.

I had a great time during my three nights at Vincci Mae. The breakfast on the terrace with a stunning view was a highlight, I had a mimosa in the morning and wine in the evening. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, though I did miss some natural light since my view was of a pretty dark inner courtyard. The location was perfect and getting around was really easy. The beach is about an hour’s walk from the hotel, but you pass some cool sights on the way so it goes by pretty fast. The only thing was that I often ended up sitting at the bar for a while with an empty glass before a waiter came over. But maybe that’s just part of the Spanish culture, maybe you’re supposed to wave down the waiter, which isn’t something we’re used to in our culture. Overall, you get exactly what you paid for.

Easy access as there is planty of busses just across the street. Nice and quiet rooms. Very friendly service. Good selection of the food at breakfasts. Roof bar- nice place for evening refreshments. Just one special remark - do not plan to swim in the swimming pool - it is so small, rather a big bathtube.
