I really wanted to leave a glowing review, because overall, the hotel felt safe, the room was clean, and the bed was genuinely comfortable — all things I deeply value when traveling. The housekeeping and maintenance staff were great, always helpful and pleasant. Some of the front desk staff were exceptionally kind and supportive, while others were just okay.
That said, two issues significantly impacted my stay:
1. The air conditioning – This was a major concern. I trip was during the summer, so a working AC was non-negotiable. Unfortunately, the system shuts off once the room reaches a certain temperature, which sounds reasonable in theory, but in reality, I’d wake up uncomfortable in a hot room. I never woke up to my alarm during my whole stay — always to the heat. When I raised the issue with the reception team, they explained it was due to energy-saving measures, but kindly offered to have someone check the AC hourly to ensure it stayed on. Despite this gesture, the issue persisted. What disappointed me was how I was spoken to during one of these calls — the receptionist gaslit me by insisting the AC was on while literally turning it on as we spoke. That interaction left a bad taste.
2. Poor ventilation – After every shower, the humidity lingered heavily in both the bathroom and the room. It was clear the ventilation system wasn’t functioning effectively, and unfortunately, this triggered my sinus allergies throughout the stay.
I genuinely appreciated many aspects of this hotel, and if strong AC and good ventilation aren’t priorities for you, then this could still be a great option. But for me, those two issues were frustrating enough to impact my overall experience.
