We book ended our cruise that departed and returned to Barcelona with a stay here. Honestly the approach to the hotel in the late evening was somewhat alarming as we seemed to pass thru some distressed urban areas to get there, however it seems that the signs of distress for an uncultured American are just actually typical street scenes in this artistic progressive city. The light of day revealed a vibrant and peaceful neighborhood. |The front desk staff were a bit distracted when we arrived but did get us checked in and on to our room quickly. The room itself was quite large and comfortable with one of the largest hotel bathrooms I've experienced lately. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was a massive no step walk in, the AC cooled the room fairly quickly (in Europe the trick is to leave the spare key in the slot if you want the AC to continue running while you're out of the room - otherwise everything will shut down when you leave), the room was quiet (near the top floor and away from the street) and we had a very relaxing first night. Breakfast both mornings we were there was served at the rooftop lounge and featured a large selection of options and a friendly and engaging staff. Our final day in Barcelona was busy and helpfully aided by front desk staff in arranging our transportation for our party of 5. The taxis in Barcelona can be hit and miss, was nice to have one called for you. The hotel is centrally located about 30 minutes from the airport and maybe 20 minutes from the port. We visited Parc Guell and Casa Batllo to get our Gaudi fix (no time this trip for Sagrada Familia) and both were within 10-15 minute rides from the hotel. There is also a park within walking distance from the hotel that is very nice and pretty popular with local families and plenty of nearby shopping.||Recommend the stay here!

Not as nice as other Vincci locations, but the location was convenient. The room is clean and sufficiently spacious. The bathroom is the best feature, though, with a very generous shower that didn't flood the room. Odd decor is glued to the shelves, and AC turns off pretty quickly, so you wake up too hot in the middle of the night and have to go turn it on again.

Amazing location! Super comfortable super king sized bed (1.80m). The breakfast terrace and pool area is stunning! At the top floor with amazing views of the city, the sea and the mountain. SPECIAL MENTION: Valentina in the breakfast area was super helpful! Her English is impeccable, and she always welcomed us with a smile. She even had great recommendations for things to do nearby…. Service was excellent! Thank you Valentina

Everything about this hotel is excellent — from the design to the service to the location. But none of that matters when you can’t get a good night’s sleep. The air conditioning in the room turns off automatically every two hours at night, leaving the room hot and uncomfortable. It’s incredibly disruptive and frustrating. When I asked the staff, they explained it’s due to an “environmental regulation” — but that’s just not true. The regulation applies to public buildings only. Hotels, which are private-sector businesses, are explicitly excluded. This is clearly a cost-cutting measure disguised as sustainability. And let’s be honest: saving a few euros in electricity per guest is not worth ruining the entire stay. When guests pay for a premium experience, they expect comfort — especially at night. Until this policy changes, I can’t recommend staying here. A hotel that intentionally makes your room too hot to sleep in has its priorities completely backward.

I really wanted to leave a glowing review, because overall, the hotel felt safe, the room was clean, and the bed was genuinely comfortable — all things I deeply value when traveling. The housekeeping and maintenance staff were great, always helpful and pleasant. Some of the front desk staff were exceptionally kind and supportive, while others were just okay. That said, two issues significantly impacted my stay: 1. The air conditioning – This was a major concern. I trip was during the summer, so a working AC was non-negotiable. Unfortunately, the system shuts off once the room reaches a certain temperature, which sounds reasonable in theory, but in reality, I’d wake up uncomfortable in a hot room. I never woke up to my alarm during my whole stay — always to the heat. When I raised the issue with the reception team, they explained it was due to energy-saving measures, but kindly offered to have someone check the AC hourly to ensure it stayed on. Despite this gesture, the issue persisted. What disappointed me was how I was spoken to during one of these calls — the receptionist gaslit me by insisting the AC was on while literally turning it on as we spoke. That interaction left a bad taste. 2. Poor ventilation – After every shower, the humidity lingered heavily in both the bathroom and the room. It was clear the ventilation system wasn’t functioning effectively, and unfortunately, this triggered my sinus allergies throughout the stay. I genuinely appreciated many aspects of this hotel, and if strong AC and good ventilation aren’t priorities for you, then this could still be a great option. But for me, those two issues were frustrating enough to impact my overall experience.

Great location! The room was very comfortable and good size. Good value for money. Reception was a bit dry and direct when we checked in but ok. The real winner is the terrace! Super views of the city and the sea. And Valentina at the breakfast area made our stay super pleasant! Thank you Valentina for always having a smile for us, and for your great recommendations! Can’t wait to come back next time we are in Barcelona :-)

The hotel is located in a nice location of Barcelona. However, the services can be improved such as the bathroom need to be equipped with water bidet and restaurant is to provide Halal food.
