Hotel Vincci Mercat

Our family had a great stay at this hotel in February this year. The location is in the centre of the old city, with easy access to public transport and all the highlights of the city. The staff were exceptionally helpful, including the breakfast staff. The ladies at reception are extremely knowledgeable - there was no need to visit the Tourist Office! The rooms were clean with luxury toiletries and modern showers. The breakfasts offered a very wide choice of fresh dishes. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

This beautifully appointed hotel offers a high standard of comfort and service. The rooms are clean, thoughtfully laid out, and exceptionally comfortable, with high-quality cotton bed linen contributing to a very pleasant stay. While room service is adequate, dining options outside the hotel may offer greater variety. The staff are consistently outstanding—professional, accommodating, and genuinely attentive. In particular, the management team demonstrated a strong commitment to guest comfort, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was simple yet enjoyable, and the overall experience reflected the hotel’s distinctive character. I would gladly return and highly recommend Hotel Vincci Mercat for future stays.

We stayed at the Vincci Mercat in Valencia over New Year and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully presented, with a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. The staff were outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay special, offering excellent recommendations for sightseeing and dining. The hotel is central and therefore easy to walk to bars and eating houses. A particular highlight was the thoughtful surprise arranged for my husband’s birthday: a delicious cake and chilled Prosecco, which truly elevated our stay and made it unforgettable. A flawless experience and a hotel we would highly recommend.

We had accommodation elsewhere in Valencia but it was so bad we had to leave after one night. We turned up at Vincci without a booking and were given a lovely room which then made our stay enjoyable. The hotel is very newly renovated and has all you could need. The location is perfect for seeing all the sights in the old town area. It is very close to transport but is not in a noisy street. The staff at this hotel were amazing and even were thoughtful about my husband’s birthday as they sent a bottle of sparking wine and a cake with a candle to our room. We used the parking that was available (at extra cost) which was great. I would recommend to stay here.

Excellent hotel in a perfect location. Our room was a good size and very clean. Breakfast was a delight, served in an airy dining room with comfortable furnishings. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout offering good advice regarding trips and local sights. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

An extremely clean and very modern hotel in the heart of Valencia. But for me it's always about the staff. Chambermaids obviously take pride in their work, my room was very clean, Ana, Theresa at the Front desk and especially Theresa serving in the Breakfast Hall were the real reason I'll stay again in Hotel Vincci, thank you Ladies for being so welcoming and professional, because of you 3 I would recommend this hotel to other's. This was my third stay in a Vinnci hotel. Vinnci Mercatdid not disappoint. A warm welcome from helpful knowledgeable reception staff. My room was airy spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping is of a consistently high standard. Breakfast had a wide choice and was frequently replenished. The roof top pool while small was very welcome and the terrace a delight. The hotel’s situation in the old town is ideal. All in all a lovely stay in a clean ,friendly and well run hotel. Every staff member was charming and took pride in their work.

From the moment we arrived at Hotel Vincci Mercat; Ana was friendly, helpful and made our stay even better!! Ana provided information on what was occurring the first night and we were able to join in with Tres Hombres Sabios (Three Wise Men) This was an honour to be apart of. Ana also assisted us in booking tickets for the aquarium, booking a taxi and providing directions to shops we were looking for. I highly recommend staying here, staff are amazing and its location in the heart of València, which is perfect for getting around and seeing everything.

Friendly welcoming service. The hotel staff always acknowledges you with a smile. The rooms are lovely and clean. There are a few things that need attention but it's beautiful and clean all around. The breakfasts are very good in the morning. We've enjoyed breakfast every morning. We've eaten two eats at the hotel with wonderful service with a smile. It's been a very good experience.

Nice staff, and not bad breakfast buffet. The location is good. However I would never recommend to stay here. When I arrived at midnight my room was literally at 16 degrees centigrade. For an hour and and a half I tried to make the heating system work, unsuccessfully. There were not extra blankets so I froze for the entire night and could hardly sleep. I woke up with a severe cold and had to take analgesics. I hoped that a hot shower would help. But guest what; the shower did not work, and I had to hold the tiny hose in my hand to shower. And neither the drain of the washbasin worked etc. In short, don't come here. Nothing is here to make you feel comfortable.

Very pretty and a great look all around. Awesome location. Friendly awesome staff. But, as a jerk English-speaking guy from the states, here are some swings and misses: -The wireless password was crazy complicated and had 4 things that could either be a "1" or an "L" but they looked the exact same. Took us 7 tries to get it (possible 16). -The trash can opens into the bottom of the sink so you have to sneak your gross tissues through a partially open lid. -No shower door, just a partial piece of glass. Water goes everywhere, naturally. -There are no towel racks, just a weird ladder in the shower that won't hold a towel, and a couple knobs over the toilet...dangerous. -The bathroom door always, ALWAYS slowly closes shut and has no lock. -The drains seal too easily and constantly require you to pull them out and throw them across the room so that the water will drain normally in sinks and shower. -The "patio" door has to be propped open to keep the room at a normal temp, but the door collides with the bed. -Speaking of bed, it's not a normal queen or even twin bed. It's two weird sized beds pushed together with their own bedding sets. I miss my girlfriend. -The pillows are not pillowS, just one long bizarre pillow. Finally found some more in the closet but the first night was weird. -No USB ports or music speakers of any kind. -Everything is loose. As in, every fixture, every ceiling tile, every weird ikea looking thing is just loose and crooked. -Fridge is full of normally priced stuff! Yay! But there's just 1 beer in there. Boo. -If they put just one heater on the amazing roof deck, it would make it tolerable in the off-season. -and maybe favorite: the water boiler doesn't fit in the sink, so the best way to make the instant coffee in the morning is to bring the boiler into the shower with you for a fill-up That felt good to get off my chest. I think I would ultimately recommend this place. They do try to go above and beyond with the amenities- sponge, razor, toothbrush, toothpaste, shoe-shine kit? But they just reinvented the wheel way too many times. In the end, we had an amazing time!

This place is a solid 5, we love it! Very nice rooms, great rooftop pool, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, tolerating my poor Spanish with a smile. Great location, in the middle of Valencia, an easy walk to everything.
