Vincci Porto (Porto, Norte) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Porto’s abandoned fish market has been reimagined as a striking riverside retreat, courtesy of the Vincci hotel group. The heritage-listed structure lends character at every turn - its mezzanine balcony once overlooked bustling fish auctions, while glimpses of red concrete beneath the rugs reveal traces of its industrial past. Dimly lit corridors mimic the paths of old produce trolleys, standing in dramatic opposition to the light-filled splendor of the reception hall. A scenic walk along the Douro leads to the city center, but with its rich history and vivid design, Vincci Porto stands apart as a destination in its own right." - Tablet Hotels

Stayed here in June 2025. Stylish 1930's renovated building and interesting interior. Nice rooms with quiet cool AC nice bedding and towels and nice big superking size double beds with loads of room. Hotel quiet and didn't hear any guest noise. Breakfast was very nice and enjoyable - the breakfast room was stylish - friendly helpful staff. Rooftop bar was relaxing with great views. Would stay here again if visiting Porto.

I got there just for one night, I park a car in front of the hotel so it was free for me, if you wanna park in the Parking it’s like 15 EUR per day.|The staff was good, but not the best. They help with luggage but there no guest experience department. I asked for a place for a good restaurant they found a good one but not like a whole tour for an evening.||The room was clean but without toiletries. Size of the room is not the big, also they do complimentary some sweets, there only a regular water.|The view was inside the building, so not the best, the room condition is ok, the whole condition of the hotel is not great, exterior looks like not a fancy hotel, need a cleaning. The interior looks old and a little dirty. The photo and really is a huge difference so you have to be ready for it.|The breakfast was not that bad, there was a good options but not the best, the option for a hot dishes I didn’t find. Also there is no sparkling water. Check out was was and good, they help with luggage.

Booked Room Only for a couple of nights. ||Location isn't as central as some might like but I thought it was perfect, town centre was only a 15 min walk or you could take a tram from outside hotel. We found this a great way to explore en-route to the centre and it was less busy outside. Also , turn right and its about 4km to the coast and a lovely walk.|Roof top bar was a great addition and the food was decent.|Beds were comfy enough, Air con was perfect, shower was good. No view from our room, but not a deal breaker.||Nice bars close to the hotel - all very reasonably priced.||Overall a good stay, staff were friendly and helpful, would definitely return ||Anyone with disability or mobility issues might struggle here though. Whilst there are lifts, they're not the biggest and there's no lift to the rooftop bar on the 4th floor, it stops at the 3rd floor, then its stairs.

Great hotel placed in a historic building that once was a fish market. Nice atmosphere, comfy rooms and great breakfast. Right on the Douro promenade inviting to a morning run. Stay was a pleasure. Recommended for both business and leisure travel.

Hotel is fine, it's on the water and has a great rooftop bar/restaurant. The rooms stay pretty warm. There's no pool. The doors don't have peep holes or other locks on the doors which I find weird. The double bed room is actually a king sized bed which was a happy surprise! The front desk has been helpful in trying to get boat rides planned and they let me borrow an outlet converter, which was really nice of them! Doesn't seem like there's much to do in this area, we have ubered and taken the tram everyday to get to different sites. The view from the roof is amazing

Our room was comfortable (spacious by European city standards) and we appreciated the option to watch TV. The bathroom was nicely appointed, although there were privacy concerns from its door not fully closing. Elevators worked well and staff were very helpful.|The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious, including a number of savory as well as sweet options, and drip coffee in addition to espresso drinks. We also really enjoyed an evening of tapas and cocktails at the rooftop bar (which seemed popular with locals as well as the heavily American clientele of the hotel).|The hotel is located conveniently close to bus and tram stops but we experienced some long waits. There's also a supermarket close by.

Didn’t like our stay here. The WiFi works poorly in the rooms. The is mold in the shower and also the shower leaks. The rooms are 22m2, but in real life they are small. Also there is very little storage space. And the beds are uncomfortable. Additionally, the staff was quite unhelpful. They didn’t tell us anything about the facilities (rooftop bar, boat rides, things to see).

Great spot on the river. Repurposed building. Cool rooftop bar/restaurant. Comfy room & bed. Safe (always key when traveling). Good toiletries. Great breakfast!||

Yelp
This hotel is a former fish market located in front of the Douro river. This hotel is clean, nice decoration and modern. The bed is comfortable and the room has a decent size for a European hotel. Do not forget to take your breakfast, nice hot buffet, eggs, sausages, grilled mushrooms, fresh juice , cheese bar, a variety of different type of bread. I was not disappointed for the service, waitress always making sure we have a clean table with our fresh coffee. They also have lactose free milk which is rare.

Yelp
Great little spot for an afternoon cocktail. The roof top has a spot for drinks and a quick bite. Service was great, but the view was better!!!

Yelp
Vincci is a great chain in Spain and Portugal, we were quite lucky to get the reservation at a very good price online and we decided to go for it. Despite it not being located "spot on" in the center of Porto, is a great establishment, rooms are big and comfortable, wifi is very good and staff performance is great too. Nothing bad to tell about them, add a spa and a bit closer to the center and you have a 5 star review, but even if it did not make it to 5 stars for me it's still a great place to stop for holidays or work.
