"Claiming the title of one of Europe's highest hotels, this authentic Alpine lodge delivers ski-in/ski-out luxury directly on the slopes of Spain's premier winter playground. The intimate mountain retreat embraces its rustic character with exposed wooden beams and stone fireplaces, yet surprises with refined touches throughout its cozy lounges and panoramic restaurant. Our stay at Hotel Vincci Selección Rumaykiyya was a beautiful experience, especially as first-time visitors to a ski resort. The location is fantastic, situated right next to the ski lift, making it incredibly convenient for skiing enthusiasts. The resort has a warm and welcoming ambiance, adding to the overall charm of the experience.||A special mention to the lady, Ineta at the Reception, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. She was understanding and proactive when we raised concerns about our original room, which was on a lower floor with had water dripping from the ice and a limited view. She very kindly upgraded us, making our stay even more enjoyable. Another standout was Yoli, who attended to us at dinner. Her recommendations were excellent, and her attentive service truly enhanced our dining experience.||However, while breakfast options were lovely, the service in the morning was disappointing. The waitstaff seemed more focused on clearing tables than attending to guests, and we were left waiting far too long for someone to take our order for eggs. Even after placing the order, it took much longer than expected, with no acknowledgment or apology from the staff. It felt as though customer service was not a priority during breakfast, which was frustrating compared to the otherwise exceptional experience at the resort.||Overall, Hotel Vincci Selección Rumaykiyya is a wonderful place to stay, especially for those looking for a cozy ski resort with excellent location and welcoming hospitality. If the breakfast service improves, it would make the experience flawless.

Super Hotel! We drove from Portugal and from the moment the garage "boys" took our bags, next to be seen in our room, to courtesy room change and shower after last days skiing and late afternoon departure everything was a joy.|Our room with a view was lovely mix of chalet wood beams and character blended with modern bathroom and fittings. Comfy bed, nice chairs, mini fridge, coffee machine, plenty of hanging space - all good. Breakfast was wonderful with huge selection of healthy fruit 'n nuts etc to cooked options (omelettes, eggs, waffles and pancakes cooked to order) cheese, meats, pastries and cake galore too. Evening meal options are available in the bar, restaurant and a 'la Carte.|The hotel is up the hill from the main town and we had the luxury of ski in - ski out conditions. There is a small hire shop right by the hotel next to the piste with very helpful owner. If not ski in you can take the chair lift right outside the hotel (runs 8.30 to 5.30 ish ??) down and back from main gondola station.|The hotels free shuttle bus service we used many times and just needs 10 mins notice - their were two running so one or other was always available. |All the staff were always helpful, especially Ester at reception and the garage shuttle bus boys. |Looking forward to 2026 :-) |Oh and....... apres ski DJ and drinks on the patio so cool.........

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Hotel Our stay at Hotel Da Vinci in Sierra Nevada was a complete disappointment. Right from the start, we had to wait an hour to check in because one of their computers wasn’t working. The reception staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, making the whole process even worse. The room itself was old and in desperate need of renovation. It had a terrible smell, and the air quality was so bad that we woke up with headaches. To make matters worse, the temperature was completely uneven—one side of the room was freezing, while the other was too hot. There was no complimentary water, which is a basic amenity in most hotels. Sleeping was nearly impossible due to all these issues, and on top of that, there were no views from the room. The location of the hotel is another huge downside. It’s at the very top of Sierra Nevada, far away from everything. There are no restaurants, no shops—nothing around. The only way to get to the village is by chairlift, which closes at 5 PM and shuts down frequently due to wind. The hotel does offer transportation, but it’s a joke—an old truck that only runs at specific times and requires advance reservation. We had a private event at the Maribel Hotel and asked for a ride, but they refused. Since there are no taxis, Ubers, or any other transport options in Sierra Nevada, we had no way of getting there and missed the event—a total disaster. Service overall was terrible. The staff was not friendly, barely spoke English, and didn’t care about guests’ needs. This was easily one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. We will never go back and strongly advise others to stay elsewhere.

Great Hotel, ski in ski out last week :-) Estar at reception and all staff were very helpful throughout our five night stay. Very nice rooms mix modern facilities with chalet charm. Huge breakfast choice with snowy mountain views - better for being higher in the resort. Free shuttle down town and back always available at 10 mins notice - we used it many times. Free hot chocolate and cake after skiing. We never managed to get to the spa as too busy skiing.......

Incredible and super attentive staff. Very knowledgeable, available and friendly.||Rooms and public areas are very clean, tidy and comfy. ||The transfer/shuttle to pradollano is an amazing amenity and makes up for the distance the hotel has to the town.

We enjoyed our stay here. Stayed a couple of nights. Will be back. Only things we would see as standard is free access to the spa area at least when staying in a junior suite or better. For us having 2 rooms and travel with kids it would be above 100 €/day for having a sauna after skiing.. crack. Something that of course should be complimentary at a 5* hotel. As Swedes that is the most basic thing. Plus add more yoghurts at breakfast. Should of course also be there in buckets like Activia. And have a decent dress code in the restaurant. Seeing loosers there in flipflops isnt 5*-class.. And finally maybe time for an update of at least one of the trucks for the complimentary transport. Otherwise - we enjoyed our stay a lot! Better than both Melia for sure even if the location isn’t the best.

First time we visited the Bar/Restaurant and enjoyed first of all the amazing view. We had first class waiter Alejandro who is a great professional and very nice person! Music was excellent with a great DJ.
