"My wife and I recently made a road trip to Spain and Portugal. We traveled by car for 30 days along the Mediterranean coast from Barcelona to Seville and then shooting through Portugal from south to north. Then on to Galicia and finalizing in Madrid. We stayed in different hotels and apartment rentals along the way but discovered Vincci Hotels in Sevilla staying at the La Rabida we were very impressed with the installations and quality of the chain from the rooftop of the hotel we had the Alcazar lit up at night a beautiful scene beyond words. We then went on to Lisbon and stayed at the Vincci Liberdade, excellent location just a couple of blocks from Plaza Marques de Pombal. Then on to Porto staying at Vincci Porto 4 overlooking the Douro River magnificent and in closing our 51st wedding anniversary road trip we stayed at the Vincci SoHo in Madrid. Excellent location walking distance to Prado Museum, Plaza El Sol, Plaza Mayor and many more exciting places. The well selected locations of the Vincci chain are excellent and well planned. The atmosphere and decoration are done with great taste like a fish market in Port, Portugal converted into a hotel or the carousel setting at the Vincci SoHo in Madrid and the Vincci Rabida, situated in a beautiful Andalusian building with history. My wife and I enjoyed your hotels very much and wish you continued success and best wishes to your excellent team…. Hats off…..!! "

Edit: The Guest Services Manager spoke with us and resolved the issue quickly and professionally. We truly appreciated the gesture and ended up extending our stay for an additional four nights. Thank you! —————————- Original post: This hotel is undeniably beautiful and clean, which made the disappointing service even more frustrating. We’ve stayed at another property in this hotel chain before and had a perfect experience, so our expectations were set on this brand. Upon arrival, we found a family in a heated discussion with front desk staff, requiring three employees to handle one conversation. We waited 15 minutes without any acknowledgment or greeting; a basic hospitality failure. When we finally asked to see rooms, the staff showed us nearly identical accommodations with vastly different price points and no clear justification. We requested a queen or king bed but were first shown a room with twin beds. Eventually, we settled for a smaller room at a higher price that offered less value than comparable options. The staff seemed unresponsive to our pricing concerns. Being tired and not wanting to argue late at night, we reluctantly accepted what felt like an unfair arrangement. The lack of service transparency, combined with poor initial hospitality, was particularly disappointing given the property’s beauty and our positive experience at their sister location.

Lovely hotel in a great location. My room on the second floor was quiet and spacious. Very comfortable bed with high quality linens. Super modern bathroom. The breakfast buffet had a wide range of healthy delicious foods. Highly recommended

The room looks amazing, the bed is nice and sturdy. Water in the room is only offered in a small plastic bottle on the first day. There is coffee/tea in the room but they only offer cups that are made from a mixture of paper and plastic, stoneware would be better, especially for a 4* hotel. Other facilities in the room are good, although cotton pads would be nice to have. The hotel is very conveniently located and quiet at night.

Stayed at Vincci Soho for 5 nights in May 2025. Location is fantastic within walking distance of many of the sightseeing locations around central Madrid. Front desk staff were very polite, professional and helpful in recommending close by restaurants. Whilst the Vincci room was small it is well designed with good wardrobe space, good air conditioning and good noise insulation from the street. We found the bed comfortable. Breakfast buffet has a good selection which, whilst needing gluten free myself, had numerous signs stating those options were available. Thoroughly recommend a long breakfast in the courtyard. The only criticism is that there was a hold on my credit card which I do not object to but I was not informed during the check in process. It seems another guest had the same issue.

Gorgeous hotel in a perfect location. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel bar is great! The restaurant didn't have many gluten-free options, so I had to eat elsewhere. My only complaint is that my room has a skylight instead of a window. It's a pity because the neighborhood is so beautiful

We really enjoyed our stay at Vincci Soho. The hotel is located in a perfect spot — walking distance from El Retiro Park, the Prado Museum, and many great restaurants. The rooms were clean and modern, and the decor throughout the hotel felt stylish and warm. The staff were professional and helpful, especially with accommodating our needs as we were traveling with a baby. A special thank you to Daniel at the reception, who provided us with exceptional service throughout our stay. He was attentive, professional, and went out of his way to help us with every request — truly made a difference in our experience. Would definitely return in the future!

Yelp
Vincci Soho is a modern and chic hotel in the heart of Madrid. The accommodations are great and the service is top notch. The hotel has a great outdoor terrace and is within walking distance to the main attractions areas . Definitely a nice place to stay.

Yelp
Great location!! Walking distance to central Madrid very close to Plaza Mayor, Mercado San Miguel Mercado San anton, Royal palacio and much more! We stayed in the junior suite and it was great! Very roomy, king size bed, sitting area and spacious bathroom. Wish it had more lighting but made it for an intimate feel and skylights let in just enough sunlight!

Yelp
The design of the shower is so flawed, I almost burst into tears in there. The water switch from hot to cold suddenly, so I had to turn up the water. Then it went burning hot. I can't reach the knob so for five minutes I was just standing there waiting the water to turn cold again--guess what it didn't happened! I can't get through the hot water, so I had to stand on the edge of the bathtub and reached the showerhead and climbed back down. All with hot water running. There is also a skylight on the roof that does not have curtain so you literally wake up with the sun :) Otherwise is good. The services are great but the whole design of the hotel is simply awkward.

Yelp
I've been in the Vincci Soho for two nights only but i really enjoied it. For this price class the room was quite big. Interior decoration is ok but nothing special for Madrid and especially for this neighbourhood where you can visit more clever Hotels. Hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. They offer free Wi-Fi but it's very slow.

Yelp
This hotel was great! Perfect location. Good price - $107 a night. Could walk to all the tourist sites I wanted to see and also great for walking to and from the bars and clubs at night. The rooms are really nice and have everything you need. Love the decor and the lighting. Great vibe. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and polite. You can get a late checkout here for any time you want for just €30. Would recommend and would definitely come back and stay here again.

Yelp
Rooms smell bad. The hotel has overcharged my credit card and I've written emails and I still haven't gotten the refund. Stay somewhere else.
