Great location, clean and modern rooms, and friendly staff. The breakfast was varied and tasty, and Wi-Fi worked well. Some minor issues with soundproofing, but overall a very good experience. Would stay again.|The hotel offers great value for money and a comfortable stay in the city center.

Excellent hotel for the price point that far exceeded my expectations. The facilities were very clean and it was cold and wet in Sarajevo but the room was lovely and warm. Location was great near to old town and within walking distance to most things. The staff are very friendly and helpful and WiFi works well. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel.

Hotel VIP is very comfortable and in a great location within walking distance of all the main sights in the city. It is a small hotel with buffet service for breakfast. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with a convenient tea/coffee making stations. Carpet could be a bit cleaner but nothing too bad. The bathroom was spacious and the under-floor heating was such a wonderful bonus. A small terrace on the top floor allowed for some wonderful photos of the mountains in the morning and evening. Quiet location away from main road.

A great place to stay, business or leisure. Large, spotless clean rooms, great reception staff, old town within walking distance.

The room was big and clean. Also, the location of the hotel was very convenient. It’s a shame that they’re not more transparent about having no staff at reception after 4pm. I would have thought twice before booking. I was left an envelope with my name on it with my room keys. I was also given a set of instructions and provided with a mobile number if I had any questions or emergency. I called the number several times as my hot water wasn’t working and I needed an iron but there was no answer. I managed to get through to someone late night and they said they will reset the heating but there’s no issue, even though they didn’t investigate. Breakfast is basic and totally not worth it. I was checking out early and needed a taxi so I asked the receptionist when they did actually come in to sort this for me and I wanted some reassurance given my experience on the first night with the water and he was very defensive and standoffish with me. I was due on a tour the following day and found myself having to follow up to make sure they sorted this. Overall, I paid £150 for this hotel and just don’t think it was worth the price given they have no one actually running the service here. Very disappointing!

Great hotel in the heart of Sarajevo. Room is big and there’s everything you need. Unfortunately, breakfast wasn’t available due to staff shortage I think?

The hotel was great value for money. I stayed here three nights and had no issues at all. The hotel was 5 minutes walk from a lot of the major tourist attractions. When I wanted to go further afield, the staff were more than happy to call a taxi for me.

I stayed here as a solo traveler in September 2023 for 6 nights. This hotel was recommended in my guidebook. It is a boutique hotel, and so overall, it is relatively 'quiet', in the sense that it isn't busy like a big chain hotel, but the walls are thin, and so sometimes I was able to hear a baby crying. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. My room was spacious, but the lighting could be improved. I had a small lamp on my nightstand and the main ceiling light, which was a harsh fluorescent white light. There really wasn't any other lighting selection in between. Google lists this hotel as a '4-star hotel', maybe when it first opened, but you can tell it is a bit dated now, and I would say it's a '3-star hotel' at best. You can see the wear and tear on the hotel, which shows that it's a bit dated. Daily breakfast was included with my stay, and overall was better than the other hotels I stayed in in BiH; the main improvement was hot eggs (other hotels I stayed in in BiH served only hard-boiled eggs), but this is just a personal preference. They serve your typical toast, spreads, cold-cut meats, fruit, Bosnian sweets, coffee, juice, and water. The best part about this hotel is the location. It is close to Old Town, but you're not directly in Old Town, and so it does feel a bit more quiet and less chaotic.
