Beautiful location!!! The staff was super accommodating. The restaurant awesome. My son and I went fishing and they made us our catch for dinner. It was one of my favorite meals on our trip. We saw howler monkeys from the parking lot as well as a white-faced coati. I will suggest having a 4wheel drive vehicle due to its remote location. I would definitely come back.

Staff here was absolutely wonderful. Thank you all for your help with our luggage. lots of stairs in this place. The Infinity pool was beautiful. At the pool bar they make incredible caiperaina. The restaurant was delicious. And the staff there was incredible as well. We had two different rooms here because of the stair situation. And both of them were so beautiful. The road coming up here is very rocky with lots of potholes so a four-wheel drive would be best. Parking is at a minimal for their guests. Had some issues with that for sure. We go in and out a lot.

We stayed here for 2 nights in April in order to visit Tortuga Island. From the start communication with the hotel was fantastic, they were really responsive and helpful with my questions - recommending tours, offering to book taxis etc, Just really good service. At the hotel ,the service was also fantastic. All the staff we met were extremely courteous , polite, incredibly attentive and helpful. It was a very positive experience.||We arrived by ferry and got a taxi to the hotel which cost $15. The roads around the hotel are rough and the hill up to the property is very steep, just something to consider if you are driving. ||This hotel has the most amazing view of Tortuga island. There are superb views from the pool, rooms, restaurant. It is in a really stunning location and we were so impressed. We loved the view from the shower! Just amazing.||The breakfast was great (apart from the sausage mixed in with the plantain which was a shock to bite into as a vegan!). One morning there was an amazing chia pot with coconut milk and passionfruit (vegan friendly!) which was one of my food highlights! The menu in the restaurant was fantastic , we ate there both nights and were impressed with everything we ate. The food was fabulous||We loved the pool area. We didn't ever manage to use any of the cabanas as they were always occupied but enjoyed the water. Everything is kept clean and beautiful. You might spot some hummingbirds around the flowers by the pool||Overall, we loved everything about this place, it was a perfect place to stay. Highly recommend for so many reasons.

This hotel had a stunning view of the surrounding area, but was way overpriced for the quality of the stay. I wanted to love this hotel, but it needs some work. It was by far the worst place we stayed during our entire time in Costa Rica in terms of cleanliness. Tons of bugs and roaches in the room. The WiFi worked only 10% of the time. The shower was cold. Doesn’t feel right to pay luxury prices for a stay that didn’t meet all our needs.

Very nice hotel on a hill in the middle of the jungle with a view of the many islands. The whole team with the Swiss hotel owners Anja and Thomas were very friendly. I was also grateful for the super adventure tips from Anja. The food was also very good, the coconut cream with chia seeds and passion fruit makes Anja herself, could hardly wait until I got it again for breakfast.||The Capuchin Aeffchen were about 5 metres on the tree at the hotel.||I liked it very much, would come back here anytime.||Thanks again!

We stayed for 3 days, here our takeaways: + Great view of the ocean from every Bungalow + Lots of wildlife you can spot directly from your balcony + Very friendly staff that takes good care of the guests + Small but delicious breakfast with lots of fresh fruit and beautiful views - Needs some love in the details (Our balcony guard was loose, the outdoor fan was missing, the inside fan made sketchy noises, our bathroom had an unpleasant smell, everywhere are small parts missing or very used, the pool bar was never staffed) - The guests are very diverse and not everyone is there to relax. A bunch of locals came over the weekend, brought their own coolers with liquor and beer and quickly took over the pool area. This would have been fine in a party hostel but selling this as a luxury nature resort and then having some drunk guys yelling all day didn’t fit the vibe. Most other guests left the pool at some point and the restaurant staff seemed understandably overwhelmed. With a little work and good management this could definitely be a 4 star resort, right now I would probably see it more as a 3 star hotel. We had a great time and would come back if the prices are adjusted or the little issues are fixed.

What a beautiful property! We needed a place to stay before using the ferry. This resort is at the top of the mountains and the views cannot be topped! Our rooms were large and comfortable?”! The staff was kind and helpful. The restraint and breakfast were lovely. But the view and property, pool and lounge area were just incredible!
