Hotel Vista las Islas

Fantastic hotel in a beautiful location, with jaw dropping views and super friendly staff.|The room was luxurious with a balcony with views of the jungle, where we could watch the wildlife. The dining area also had incredible far-reaching views and we were treated to all kinds of nature joining us for breakfast and dinner. |Being a holiday to celebrate a big birthday, Daniel made sure everything about our stay was faultless. He organised excursions (a nighttime bioluminescence kayaking tour- unmissable, and the Tortuga Island day trip- brilliant!) and all the taxiing we needed during our stay.|The hotel was apparently busy, but we usually had the pool to ourselves and weren’t aware of many people. So peaceful; such a special place.

A little piece of heaven on earth. The service was awesome. The food incredible. The view of the hotel is amazing. There is a lot of peace between the mountains where the hotel is located. I will come back as soon I will can. It worths every dollar you pay

The views here are absolutely amazing! The howler monkeys greeted us as soon as we pulled into the parking lot and we heard them every time someone pulled in. I thought they may keep us up at night but it was very quiet. The beds were a little hard but the views made up for it. My kids loved the four resident cats. We also saw a quati on site and many hummingbirds and butterflies. Great breakfast included and friendly front desk staff.

Everything was perfect! The best part was the wonderful customer service! The property is stunning! It has an old world charm that is so difficult to find. Details like flowers on the beds were a welcoming site! We highly recommend this property! Added perk—next to ferry!!

If you’re not on a budget, this is a place worth it just for the peace and comfort of the natural environment and incredible view! Rooms show little traces of use and would certainly deserve a coffeemaker to enjoy the sunrise before breakfast (7am). Besides this the Staff is very friendly and helpful and you’re just short drives away from the areas main attractions (ferry docks, bioluminescence tour, Curù nature reserve).

Great place far from the crowd. Not easy to reach that hotel, but the friendly staff and beautiful view worth it. 4wd car are recommended to this trip. There are some monkeys around, but they never came into the property. The pool is great with a view.

Absolutely stunning! From the first moment we arrived this resort was BLISS!! Our first surprise was an upgrade for our stay with a view I can only describe as breathtaking. The staff are absolutely beautiful literally going above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We came to Costa Rica to elope and the chef at the Resort helped my partner plan many unique seafood dinners just for us and it was absolutely delicious. The entire stay was so relaxing and beautiful from the exquisite view and location set in the jungle, to the many surrounding tours to do especially Tortuga Island, the views from our room and pool, the level of care and excellent service and food glorious food!! This place is a clear 10/10 and is one of the best kept secrets in Costa Rica! We will be back one day and big thanks to Anja for taking care of us so well and making this trip one to remember for years to come! Every Blessing, Beth & Ryan

Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. It's quiet, hidden, and not far from the ferry. We saw a coati running through the grounds, and the howler monkeys were close by. Pool was amazing, and the restaurant was delicious. My picture is the evening view from the pool.
