First of all, I want to start this review by mentioning that we were helped very well by the staff, which made the experience more bearable. Unfortunately, our hotel room was not clean. We stayed at the second floor. The curtains were ripped apart, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, and the leather headboard was damaged and flaking. Worst of all, there were mice in our room! It was gnawing on the headboard, running through our suitcases, and even along the walls. When we went downstairs to report it, we also saw a mouse in the restaurant area. In the end, we received a full refund and left the hotel. In short: the hotel is very dirty, and there are mice running around. However, the staff did help us well, which is why I'm still giving 2 stars. I hope that they are able to fix this problem. But we will not be coming back here.

Worst quality hotel room I've ever stayed in. Tiny room, poor mattress that moved anytime you got onto the bed, uneven lumpy pillows, headboard was peeling, ripped curtains, chipped paint on the walls and window sill. Barely enough room to move around. Bathroom was ok. Quite small, no shower door so the bathroom would flood every time you showered. Staff were very nice and friendly. Very helpful. Location is top tier. Bus from the airport stops right outside the hotel. The hotel is right next to Vondelpark and walking distance to the city centre. Good value for the price which was considerably lower than everywhere else we looked at. Hotel has bikes for rent which was very nice. Can rent for the day for 18 euro or 3 hours for 13. 50 euro deposit. Probably would not stay there again.

The only thing good about this hotel is its location. Other than that I can’t really say much my main concern was how dirty my room was, I think that anything from below the ankle and above eye level gets completely missed. Stayed in the outside annex- thick dust had to wipe the floor as my feet had dirt and pubes stuck to them, asked housekeeping to change my sheets only to be told at 1pm that he was finished for the day. Needs a good lick of paint and a bloody good clean. I removed my bed sheets on my departure, I wish I hadn’t now as I felt physically sick to find the pillows and duvet I had slept in for several days was covered in let’s say peoples bodily fluids yellow and red stains I’ll leave that to your imagination if this allowed pics I would of attached them. I did say to reception on checking out only for them to say I’ll get them to chuck it out and in my eyes a poor apology.

Not too bad but things need to be done. As soon as the sun comes up, the room gets lots of light, which is not great ro sleep in the morning. We also had a lot of noise in the morning. The bathroom is small but nice. Some parts of the room need changing, like part of the bed. Very nice people at the reception

Seeing as I booked this less than 3 weeks before departure I was limited to choices , however I knew which area I wished to stay in as I stayed in this same area 8 years ago just further up . Listen , rooms small , yes but fixate yourself it’s standard for Europe . I was travelling solo And booked a standard double as I Did not want to subject myself to a single My room was clean, but very dated and in need of some fixing . The stain on the bed sheet is a bug I killed crawling . I was there only for 3 nights served its purpose , only real issue is that my blow dryer was broken. There’s a portable fan I had blowing while in the room. Use of the close iron. Location can’t be beat. And yes I walked up and from the train station approx 25min Stayed on the 3rd floor I took this based on price and location .

Hotel was not bad. Personel was so kind. Room was bot bad , I stayed 4. Floor and there is a elevator. Room cleaning is 5/10. They are tidying up room everyday but they don’t give new towel , paper or other things until you want. Only best thing is shower in the room. There are too much dust on floor. Cleaning is not bad if you stay only sleep and walking around. Location is so good if you want to spend your time near this around, otherwise I advice to stay in city. I think this is little bit expensive for this service.

The rooms are clean(toilet, floors, white bedding but not decorative bedding) but in a very bad condition. The curtains are ripped, the wallpaper is unsticking, the walls are a bit dirty and the rooms are tiny(which I guess not the worst but still a bit tight with two people). The location is great, walking distance to central places, 6 mins from Rijkmuseum, 19 from Ripley believe it or not. There is a parking outside of the hotel, pretty often could find a space but the daily rate is 60€. So overall I would say it was a 3 star for the experience. The stuff was good I guess but didn’t need much from them, the room was clean(in terms of floors and white bedding), the location is great, would be nice at least have an AC but the fan was strong and it helped cool down the room and it was fine while sleeping. I didn’t notice it to be loud at night or early morning there. I would say that there was a break in to a someone’s car right outside of the hotel even though there are cameras! Not sure if it was normal accident for that area or not.

A good location near the parks, museums and bus/tram stops. Not too far to walk into the central part of Amsterdam either. Staff were polite and efficient and looked after our luggae on the final day. Our room was in the 'annexe' which didn't look great from the outside (more like a portakabin / hut). It was okay enough inside - peaceful at night, black out curtains and a soft mattress. However, the bathroom was absolutely tiny and having a shower caused the whole bathroom to flood. The room was quite dusty and there were dirty marks on the furniture and cushions that needed cleaning. The room was not serviced during our 3 nights but we did get offered additional towels (which we needed to dry up the flooded bathroom!).
