We selected this hotel for its location to the port & the fact it had car parking available & for both of those reasons we would highly recommend it. As our ferry arrived late in the day on our arrival to Bastia & was departing early the day we left a week later, we booked both nights here. The staff were very friendly & the room, although small, was clean & had all that you require. Being on the edge of the old town it was easy to go exploring & we had dinner at the Marina which is only a 5min walk away. |We had booked only the basic room - for the person sleeping closest to the wall, it was hard getting around the end of the bed - but for a one night stay was OK.|

We spent one night here on our way to Malta. Although well located near downtown Bastia's restaurants, bars, park, and other sites, this hotel is not worth a stay. We were initially assigned an odd room with an unacceptable bathroom including a bathtub with a handheld shower in what looked like a former closet. We were reassigned an even smaller room (#12, I think) which probably was a closet. The tiny bathroom reminded us of those in ferry accommodations -- maybe 2.5 x2.5 feet. All the same, at least there was a shower. The room held a double bed, small table and a chair both of which we used for our rollerboards. Light was minimal. The room numbering in the hotel makes no sense. While there is an elevator, areas of each floor have stairs so guests with big suitcases will have problems negotiating the stairs as they search for the rooms. Breakfast was adequate. I suspect this hotel was created by combining some odd buildings or apartments and making connections between them and rooms where they could. We would not recommend this hotel nor stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Comfortable well-equipped room, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and very handy for the port and the city centre. We loved the quirky, original decor!

Les Voyageurs is located in a convenient, central street that is great for exploring Bastia on foot, and only 10-15 minutes walk from the ferry port too. The rooms are comfortable too - though the numbering system is so random & illogical it is hilarious!||||Good, secure storage for bags is provided if you need to check out of the hotel before you want to leave the (very enjoyable) city, too. ||||The ground floor area is like a time warp, with aged wood panelling & historic framed posters. Nothing appears to have changed there in the past half century, and the buffet breakfast provided is mediocre at best.

Good, but overpriced The staff were all friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room was clean and had great soundproofing from the street. However there was a lot of details that could be better given the price * the shower stall would overflow if run at full pressure * Loud in-room fridge * In room safe (coffre) wouldn't open * Room was very dark and gloomy during the day. These are all small problems that could be overlooked at a more affordable location.

We stayed here for one night as part of our September two-week, 1,000 km tour of Corsica - with nine different accommodations.||Our first night after arriving at Bastia airport was at this central hotel. Excellent reception staff and warm welcome. ||Car parking at 7 euros a night - virtually next door - was tight but very manageable for a Citroen C3 - anything larger would be a challenge. Car park filled up by 1800hrs and parking looked to be a problem in Bastia.||The room was very clean. Small double bed, small room and noisy air conditioning.||An excellent central base for one night - with plenty of nearby restaurants - easy to walk to all the points of interest.||Overall a good stay for our first night. Recommended.|

The most impressive thing was the very nice, helpful staff. The rooms were a little too small and there were no tea or coffee makings. Breakfast was continental with quite a wide choice. Much of the hotel seemed to be a little tired. Old and grubby furniture in the hallway and very rusty fridges in the kitchen are examples. There was a safe but it was not fixed inside the closet! The hotel is centrally located and close to the railway station and ferry port. Great restaurants and bars abound within easy walking distance. I would use it again but would keep valuables and passports with me.

Well located for an overnight stop to/from the port with a public car park less than a hundred metres away (Rond-Point Maréchal Leclerc). Public areas very nice but our two rooms were extremely small with virtually no room to move about. Just about acceptable for one night but anymore would be difficult.
