Hotel Waldhorn Bern

The location is excellent – you can walk to most destinations, or use public transport, as there’s a bus and train stop close to the hotel. The hotel is very clean; the rooms are small and simple but spotless. However, the breakfast is quite poor and the same every day

Let's start with the good part: very friendly stuff.|Hotel room is very small and smells very old and humid. Breakfast has no warm buffet like omelets, bacon, sausages. Only 3 type of ham , some musli, croisant, terrible coffee. |For this price you can go to Zermatt and have a nice new 3 star spa hotel with multiple breakfast options. It's simply stealing to ask for so much money for that nothing.

Excellent location helpful staff

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and it was a great experience. The staff are helpful and really friendly. Breakfast is included, they have a variety of bread, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt, soft boiled eggs, oatmeal, coffee and tea. They provide free water. Simple but it was good value for the price that I paid. No air conditioning in the room though they provide a fan. Location is perfect as it is only 5 mins walk to the bus that would take you to the main train station. Overall it was a good stay and I would recommend this hotel.

The rooms are very clean and warm. The breakfast was good. Not a big hotel which makes it more calm. Location is convenient to get to bus stop. If I go back to this city, this hotel will be my to go

Great breakfast, a tram will get you in 10 minutes to the city center. The service is amazing with friendly workers They give you for free a 24 hours transport pass to your family group, which was a great help for us. The rooms, although very clean and cozy, don't have air conditioners, only a tiny fan. It might get hot in summer. Overall, it was a great stay.

We stayed at the Waldhorn Hotel in June this year after completing the Bern-Stage of the Trans Swiss Trail. The position of the hotel is convenient as it is 5min from the bus stop to get to the train station. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I had some issues in making the hair dryer work.

Beautiful hotel with a fancy lounge with free coffee and tea 24/7. Your stay also comes with free breakfast with wonderful food, some of the best croissants I ever ate. Staff is really nice and everyone speaks English. They also give you a ticket for free public transport even tho the city center is really close. The rooms are smaller but really nice and modern, they also come with a tv and free water bottles!

A nice hotel on the outside of the Old Town. The room is a bit small, but clean and comfortable. You also get a free bus pass for the time you are in Bern and it is just a block away from the bus station, so getting to/from the old town is a breeze The breakfast is standard, and the service is outstanding. WiFi is a bit spotty, it only works partially in my room The neighborhood is very quiet. There is a Mediterranean place (good for lunch) and an Italian place (good for dinner) across from the hotel (just in case you don't want to eat at the old town) Overall, we enjoyed our stay and it was worth our money.
