This has to be the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in! It's fantastic. The location is perfect, literally a minute's walk from the tram and about 5 minutes walk from the Messeplatz. It's also a very safe area. I found myself having to walk back there late one night on my own and it was so quiet and lighting in the area was good. The breakfast was very basic, not much on offer there, but the breakfast room and gardens are gorgeous. Rooms are cleaned every day very attentively. I was very impressed by the comfy bed, spacious room and friendly staff. There is no restaurant but the staff can order you food from the Italian restaurant next door, or you can order online. There's not many snacks on offer, however, with a lack of shops nearby so I would suggest having some snacks with you. I would definitely stay here again, very reasonably priced.

Switzerland is very expensive it seems! Lunch out, two meals and two drinks cost about £90. So, this hotel is a budget hotel but is still expensive. Room was adequate. Comfy bed and pillows, however there is no air con so you have no way of regulating the temperature. There was a fan which was quite helpful, but obviously noisy at night. We had a room on the street side which was very noisy with the traffic, despite it not being a major road. One total annoyance is the complete lack of bedside tables. So during the stuffy night, we had to grope around for bottles of water on the floor! Wardrobe space was adequate but the shelving above it was unreachable unless you were 8' tall!!||The staff were lovely especially the cleaners, they were very helpful. Great coffee and tea machines in the lobby.||There is no Cafe or vending machine but according to the guide in the room, you could get snacks from reception, however, the only thing on offer was a bar of chocolate for £9.50, yes, an ordinary bar of chocolate £9.50! So be prepared, if you're visiting Basel, it IS VERY expensive. ||This hotel was in a great location and the buses and trams were easy to navigate.

Great hotel. This is a great place to stay if temperature does not go higher than 25 degrees. We were very hot in our room even with window open. No air conditioning. Didnt have breakfast at the hotel. Plenty of cafes nearby. About a 15 min walk to town centre. Hotel gave us free tram vouchers and the trams are very easy to use. Felt safe walking around at night

I had a fantastic stay at your hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised in the best way. The service at the front desk was exceptional, and my room was spotless—equipped with everything I could possibly need. The peaceful view of the back garden was an added bonus! Although I’m not usually a fan of retro-style bathrooms, I truly appreciated how clean and well-maintained everything was. I also really enjoyed the breakfast and even looked forward to workouts at the gym. I’ll be highly recommending your hotel to anyone traveling to Basel. The only thing I’d suggest improving is the fan in the room—it was quite loud, to be honest. I ended up turning it off at night, which unfortunately led to waking up sweaty one morning. You might consider installing the same type of fan you have in the gym; it’s whisper-quiet and looks great too!

Great and friendly service, very clean and modern, close to free public transport. Appreciated the free coffee and tea station near the reception. Some good restaurants nearby. Garage parking available. Perfect hotel for visit in Basel.

This place was amazing. I thought I'd made a mistake because it was so nice from the first second and I had only paid a budget price. The staff, front reception to housekeeping, were so friendly! Lots of free stuff in the fridge and awesome coffee, whenever. Just book it!

We had a nice stay at this hotel in Basel. It's in a good location, close to many restaurants along the Rhine River and just over the bridge from many scenic areas in the city. We used a discount they provided as a guest of the hotel to book a city bus tour for only 13 euro each, which was a great value for an informative and interesting tour of the city. The breakfast buffet offered a nice selection of options and the setting in the dining area and patio was beautiful and peaceful. The only drawback was not having AC in our toom but this is typical of the area and there was a large fan in the room, which helped. The staff was very friendly and helpful with advice for getting around the city. We would definitely recommend for a stay in Basel!

I would give 5 stars if rooms were air-conditioned: there was a fan, but it was very loud (not easy to sleep when it's turned on). The stuff is very pleasant. Breakfast was good, nothing special, but all right. The rooms and the whole place is clean and modern. Right near the hotel there is a bridge under which locals are swimming. Everything we needed was walking distance away, yet hotel stuff gives cards that allow unlimited usage of all city transport for each person. Also they give discounts for museums etc as a cool perk Parking is available (underground garage) Also the bar is free but only has beer, cola and water, but it's still very nice to have. Free coffee machine is available at ground floor, very taste coffee and hot chocolate, which you can make there 24/7 and even take to your room to drink at no additional cost (free)
